"Now that I know you're alright, I know you'll wake up," Taylor said. He smiled a bit at her. "You're a fighter. You'll be okay." He held her close. "Do you want me to come in and see you more often?"

Sera nodded again. "Yeah. I... I'm worried I'll forget again, and I don't want to." She nestled closer to him. "I mean, what if I forget and get lost again?"

"Then I'll find you and bring you back again," Taylor reassured. He kept his arms around her. "I promise. I'll always come and find you."

Sera couldn't help but smile at that, moving closer to him if at all possible. "Thank you. I'll try to get better and get back soon."

"I'll be waiting when you do," Taylor said, holding her close.

"Good. You better be." Sera smiled. "I'll see you soon."

Taylor smiled back and gave her another kiss before reluctantly letting her go again.

Damien was still there when Taylor woke up again.

"Did it work?" he asked, leaning a little closer.

"She's alright in there," Taylor said with a sigh of relief. "She's alright. Not sure what's going on, but everything important is still there."

"Good," Damien said, undeniably relieved. "Very good. I'll have to tell Rose when she gets home."

Taylor nodded, reaching over to gently take one of Sera's hands. He massaged her palm with his thumb gently for a moment, just watching her. He felt a lot better knowing that she would be okay.

Damien smiled faintly before he left Taylor there to head over to the zoo to give Rose the good news.

Rose was busying herself in the database, doing a purge of old, broken pathways and updating what needed to be done. It kept her mind occupied enough that she didn't have much time to worry herself sick over Sera.

Damien got into her office and knocked on the doorframe. "Rose?" he asked, walking over to her. "You busy?"

Rose blinked and looked up from her computer screen, moving aside a stack of paper as she did so.

"Sort of, but it's all self-assigned anyways," she said. "What's up?"

"Taylor finally figured out that he could see Sera. Get into her head and see her, I mean. According to him, she's okay, just needs some more time to heal."

Rose blinked as she processed that, and then sighed and slouched in her chair.

"Thank god," she said softly.

"Yeah." Damien smiled, moving over behind her to rub her shoulders. "And he said he'll keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't get lost or anything. I don't know how it actually works. But she should be okay."

"Good," Rose said, relaxing a little as he rubbed her shoulders. "I'm so glad she'll be okay."

"Me, too." Damien grinned. "Now we just have to be patient and hope Taylor doesn't get snippy with the nurses."

"Yeah," Rose said. She leaned back into his touch. "I feel so much better knowing Sera will be alright."

"Yeah." Damien kept rubbing her shoulders. "Everything will be okay, it'll just take time."

"I don't mind it taking time," Rose said. "Sera can take all the time she needs."

Damien nodded. "Yeah. I'm glad everything will be better now. Hopefully anyway."

Rose nodded, relaxing a bit more under his hands.

"And now I'll feel a bit better about curling up on the couch at home tonight while you're out and about," she said. Because she knew it was a full moon that night.
