The lilu flinched away from them. "I didn't do anything wrong," he said defensively. "I didn't kill anyone."

"If that's how you define doing nothing wrong then you're a long way off." Damien growled.

"I didn't know anyone else lived here." The lilu started to back away.

"Well, I would say that if you want to still be breathing tomorrow, you should probably hightail it out of town," Taylor suggested. He could tell Damien was getting angry, and it would be a bad thing for his temper to slip from his control. "And I would definitely advise you to never come back. Otherwise, my friend here will end up hunting you down."

Damien bared his teeth in demonstration of his willingness to hunt the man down. It was still only a few days after the full moon, and he could do with a more engaging hunt than rabbits.

The lilu nodded swiftly, glancing between the two before heading for the exit hurriedly.

"Now, let's see if he stays gone," Taylor muttered. He glanced over at Damien. "How are the girls?"

"Sleeping. I think they'll be okay once they've gotten some rest." Damien sighed quietly. "I still don't like this, though."

"I don't, either," Taylor said. "There's not much else we can do, though... We've warned him, so if he poaches again you can tear him apart. Either that, or he takes the hint and becomes someone else's problem."

"Yeah, but even so, how many others have passed through, or will pass through, and do the same thing? I don't think any Weres will come through, since they can smell me, but for most everything else, this whole place is fair game. And all the people around here too." Damien frowned.

"I was 'just passing through' here once, too," Taylor pointed out. "Only I decided to settle in. What else would you be able to do? It's not like you can track down and get rid of everything else."

"I know," Damien said with a sigh. "But if we somehow made it clear that this town is ours, most everything else will just pass through. It's easier to go to the next town than have to fight for your food, right?"

"It's always easier to move on rather than compete," Taylor agreed. "How would we claim the town, though?" He paused for a moment. "Unless you plan on marking out a perimeter," he teased, grinning.

Damien shot him a droll look. "Oh shut up. And I don't know yet. I just thought that might work, rather than fighting people as they come in and start messing everything up."

"We'll figure something out," Taylor replied. "For now, we'll have to wait and see if he comes back. If he does, well, I wasn't there to stop you from tearing him apart.

Damien merely grinned at the idea. "I almost wish he would come back," he muttered. "Chasing down rabbits gets boring."

Taylor snorted.

"I would think so," he said. "Speaking of, how did your date with Rose go last weekend? Did you end up having to cut it short?"

"No, I managed okay. I think she noticed something was off, but she didn't say anything." Damien shrugged. "What about you and Sera? You never really said anything."

"We went to dinner and a movie," Taylor replied. "Apparently, she likes tearing apart cheesy horror flicks." He grinned. "She managed to set off half the women in the theater screaming."

Damien snorted. "Sounds like your kind of girl," he teased with a grin.

"She figured out I have a tattoo," Taylor said. "Just not where. She spent most of the evening trying to figure it out, because I wouldn't tell her."

Damien snorted. "Better be careful or she might start looking for it," he said with a grin.

Taylor grinned.

"I offered to show her," he said. "I was mostly joking about it, though."

Damien couldn't help but snicker. "You'll have to tell me what happens when she finds it," he said with a grin. "Since you haven't hade her a Happy Meal yet."

Taylor rolled his eyes.

"Alright, alright, I know revenge when I hear it," he said. "Besides, you're not really one to talk, I doubt Rose suspects a thing about you."

"I'm sure she doesn't," Damien said with a shrug. "Which is exactly what I wanted."

"Are you ever going to say anything to her about it?" Taylor asked.

"After I get to know her better and I know she won't freak out and try to kill me, or something," Damien said with a shrug. "What about you? You ever going to tell Sera?"
