"He took me to his place, cooked me dinner, we cuddled on the couch and watched a movie, I fell asleep on him, and then he cooked me breakfast," Rose replied. She carefully left out the part about the nightmare.

"Nice." Sera grinned. "You two have any other plans?"

"Today? Not as far as I know," Rose replied. "Though I think that might be subject to change."

Sera snorted. "Well, that sounds fun." She sat up straight again, stretching out briefly. "Least we can sleep well, yea?"

"Maybe," Rose said. She hesitated for a moment. "I think the nightmares moved from you to me."

Sera winced in sympathy. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?"

"For now," Rose replied. "I think I was able to force myself awake, but I'm not sure how often it'll happen."

"Well hopefully now that you know you'll be able to be more aware." Sera frowned. "But I still don't like it."

"You're not the only one," Rose replied. "I'm not sure what good being aware will do... I don't lucid-dream, I only managed to force myself awake is because I was trying to open my eyes in the dream and ended up opening my eyes for real."

"Yeah, I know that feeling." Sera shrugged. "Hopefully you'll be fine."

"Hopefully," Rose agreed. "We'll see what happens."

"Well, if you're not, I'll just have to track the thing down and kill it," Sera said brightly.

Rose just rolled her eyes.

"I'm not responsible for indulging your sadism," she said jokingly.

Sera laughed quietly. "Oh, don't worry," she said, still cheerful. "I'm more than capable of taking care of that myself."

"Remind me again why I agreed to live with you?" Rose said as she glanced around to keep an eye on her new pet.

"I have no idea." Sera merely grinned. "You kitten is very cute, though."

"When she's not trying to nibble on my toes," Rose agreed. "I still kind of think she's supposed to act as a spy."

Sera laughed. "Wow, you are five shades of paranoid now, love." She shook her head.

Rose just rolled her eyes.

"You're in a bizarrely good mood," she commented.

Sera shrugged. "I got a good night's sleep and I have a new small fuzzy creature." She grinned.

Rose rolled her eyes again.

"One new rat and you're happier than a frog in a puddle," she teased.

"Well, that and the fact that I got a free dinner last night. Feeding my inner demon and all." Sera grinned.

"Maybe you should let him know to cook for you more often," Rose said. "I mean, it put you into an oddly good mood."

Sera rolled her eyes. "Uh huh. Maybe I should tease you about Damien more. That has definite entertainment value."

Rose blushed.

"Hush, you," she said.
