Sera snickered but subsided.

"So, you wanna do something tonight? It's been a while since we've had a girls night."

"Sure," Rose replied. "What did you have in mind?"

"Dinner, hang out and watch a movie or two, maybe some ice cream. The usual." Sera grinned. "What do you think?"

"I think it's a great idea," Rose said. "Though if we catch a movie, we're seeing a real movie, not one of your cheesy horror flicks. I don't do horror."

"I know I know," Sera said with a dramatic sigh. "We can see whatever you'd like."

Rose smiled.

"Thanks," she said. "We should look up what all is playing and decide on one."

Sera nodded and got up, jogging to go get her laptop. She came back and settled on the couch again, startling to look up movies.

"See anything good?" Rose asked, bending over to pick up the kitten and cuddle her a bit.

"Well, there's Beastly, or Red Riding Hood, or Paul." Sera looked over at her, raising her eyebrows.

"What about Beastly?" Rose suggested. "I've heard it's amusing."

"Sure, that sounds good to me." Sera shrugged. "Might as well see something fun, right?"

"Right," Rose agreed. "If we have time, we can see Paul afterwards or something."

"Yup." Sera grinned. "So, any preferences for dinner?"

"Not really," Rose replied. "Pick something."

"Chinese it is." Sera snickered as she watched the kitten trying to play. "Good thing she can't get to the snake."

"I wouldn't put it past her to try," Rose replied, also watching the kitten.

Sera snickered. "So, there's a showing of Beastly at 7, which gives us time to get dinner beforehand. Sound good?"

"Sounds like a plan to me," Rose replied. "We should hit the dollar store or something after dinner and get some cheap snacks for the movie."

"Sounds awesome." Sera grinned. "We can head over there, then food, then movie."

"Alright, then," Rose said.

Sera grinned and nodded, relaxing there for the time being.

Rose twitched a few times when the kitten tried to nibble on her toes, but otherwise relaxed as well.

Sera couldn't help but snicker and decided against taking the snake out right now. The kitten might try to pounce on it or something.

Reaching down, Rose picked up the kitten. The little thing squirmed a bit, and Rose settled her into her lap and started to pet her. The kitten practically started to vibrate, she was purring so loud.

Sera couldn't help but laugh at that. "Ah, kittens. How I love them." She reached over and tickled under the kitten's chin. "You won't see a snake purring like that."
