"No kidding." Sera slumped into a seat with a happy sigh. "Less complicated."

"We could make it better and watch movies at home all night while working on a big bowl of brownie batter," Rose offered teasingly. "The ultimate girls' night."

"No kidding." Sera chuckled. "Maybe next weekend we'll do that." She grinned.

"Sounds like a plan," Rose said as she glanced at the menu briefly.

Sera grinned but looked at the menu, already deciding what she wanted so they could share.

The next weekend, Rose was trying to pick out an outfit to wear before Damien showed up.

"Sera, have you seen my stonewash jeans?" she called. "I can't find them."

"I put them in your closet so they wouldn't get covered in hair," Sera called back. She was busy gathering her own clothes for the night, since they were all going out together.

"Thanks!" Rose dove into her closet to find her jeans. They were her favorite pair, and they would probably only last a few more wears. Once she dug them out and put them on, she looked for a decent shirt to wear. "What kind of shirt should I dig out?"

"Something bright," Sera called back. She'd pulled on black skinny jeans, black combat boots, and a purple tank top. She tied a bright green sash around her waist and switched out the laces on the boots with bright green and purple striped laces before she tied her hair back.

Rose looked through her things and finally pulled out a turquoise tank top and a black lace over-shirt. It was nice enough for anywhere they were likely to go. Digging under her bed, she pulled out black ballet flats that had black satin bows on them. Untying the bows, she relaced them with a bit of blue ribbon that was close enough to the color of her shirt that nobody would notice they weren't the same color.

A knock sounded on the door, and Sera sighed. "Coming!" she yelled, mostly to make them stop, before she thumped down the stairs in her boots, opening the door.

"Hey Sera. You two ready?" Damien glanced her over before looking towards the staircase.

"Dunno. We'll find out in a minute or so, I think." Sera went to grab her purse. "You ready to go, Rose?"

"Just about," Rose called back as she grabbed a pair of earrings and put them in as she went down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, she grabbed her purse. "Alright, ready to go."

Damien smiled when he saw Rose. "You look good," he said, leading her over to his car.

Sera walked over to Taylor's car, letting herself in. "Hey you."

Rose blushed slightly, though not as brightly as in the past. She was getting used to his compliments.

"Thanks," she said.

Taylor grinned at Sera when she got into his car.

"Hey yourself," he said. "Nice outfit."

Damien smiled and held open the car door for her before he got in as well.

"It shouldn't take us too long to get there."

"Thanks. I thought the colors would go well."

Grinning, Sera relaxed against the seat of the car, just waiting.

"Where is 'there'?" Rose asked as she got into the car. "You never said where we're going."

"Just waiting for Damien to stop blocking me in," Taylor said once Sera was in her seat.

"It's a surprise. You'll see when we get there."

Grinning, Damien started driving, letting her pick the music.

"It's cool." Sera stretched briefly in the car before settling down again.

Rose didn't see any reason to touch the radio. She usually didn't complain about other people's tastes in music.

Once Damien had pulled out of the driveway, Taylor followed.

"It shouldn't take long to get where we're going," he said.

Damien drove for a little while before he parked in a parking lot behind a bunch of buildings. He got out and offered Rose his arm.

Sera grinned briefly. "You mean the club I'm not supposed to know we're going to? Yeah, I know. I looked it up."

Rose got out of the car and took his arm. She still wasn't sure where they were. She didn't usually go out to clubs, so it didn't occur to her at all.

"That's cheating," Taylor pointed out mildly.

Damien led her up to the door and paid the fee for them to get in, leading her over to one corner to wait for Sera and Taylor.

"You never defined the rules." Sera smiled angelically and got out after he parked.

Rose stayed close to him, not as comfortable in the club as he seemed to be. It wasn't her usual scene, and she felt very out of place.

Taylor rolled his eyes and walked with her to the door, paying the fees without even thinking about it.

"I want you to know this was Taylor's idea, not mine." Damien put his hand over hers. "I just wanted to bring you here once to see what it's like."

Sera grinned as she got into the club. She'd been clubbing before, so she wasn't totally uncomfortable there.

"I can guarantee I'm going to end up sitting at a table in the corner," Rose replied. "It's happened before." She didn't really care whose idea it was, though she was secretly glad that it hadn't been Damien's idea.

Taylor grinned when he saw how relaxed Sera was.

"Good, I was hoping you would have fun here," he said.

"Well then I guess we can both sit at a table and talk or make fun of people." Damien smiled at her.

"Yea, I've been to clubs before," Sera said with a shrug. "It's fun to make fun of people and act like an idiot."
