"Well, you'll get to see it, I'm sure," Taylor said. He gave Sera one more kiss. "I need to go, I have to tell Damien what's going on."

Sera nodded reluctantly. "Okay," she agreed. "See you soon, I hope." She couldn't resist hugging him, just so she'd feel a little better.

Taylor returned the hug, holding her close for a few moments before reluctantly letting her go. He slipped back out of her dream before he could talk himself into staying and went to find Damien.

Sera stayed asleep through the night, comforted.

When she woke up the next morning, she decided to tell Rose the calvalry should be arriving. Sometime. Eventually. It would be better if she could find out where they were.

Rose slept leaning against the wall. There wasn't a decent place to sleep in the room, so she'd done what she could. She was a bit sore from sleeping against the wall when she woke up.

By the time she did, Sera was currently trying to look out the one window in the room, which was a few feet above her head. She was currently hauling herself up, her elbows wedged in the frame for purchase as she stared outside.

"What are you doing?" Rose asked when she saw Sera climbing up to the window.

"Trying to figure out where we are," Sera said, falling back to the floor. "I can't see any street signs, though."

"Do you see anything out there that looks familiar?" Rose asked. "Maybe we can figure it out from landmarks or something."

"Not really." Sera sighed, dejected. "I'll give you a boost up if you want to take a look around, see if you recognize anything."

"Couldn't hurt," Rose replied. She might or might not see something she recognized that Sera didn't.

Sera nodded and helped her up to the window before moving a little bit away so she wouldn't get hit. "Anything?" she asked, a tad desperately. How were Taylor and Damien supposed to find them if they didn't even know where they were?

"I don't think so..." Rose replied, looking around at the area frantically. Nothing really looked all that familiar to her, and almost everything was just plain and nondescript. She looked for any sort of sign or store name that would give a hint as to where they were.

Sera sighed, worried, and shook her head. "I don't know how much help this is..." she muttered worriedly.

"It's not like knowing where we are helps us now," Rose commented, dropping back down from the window with a sigh.

Sera grumbled but didn't say anything else. She wasn't quite ready to admit that she'd seen Taylor last night.

Rose went and sat back down in the corner resting her chin on her knees. She really hoped Damien would find them, even though she knew it wasn't likely. He probably had no idea she was even gone yet.

They were fed their breakfast a short while later, and then lunch and dinner later on. Sera stayed sitting against the wall, thoroughly miserable.

The day dragged by, and Rose couldn't help but be nervous when nothing seemed to happen.

Taylor had told Damien about the situation immediately. He didn't think his friend would mind being woken up over something like this. Taylor also felt it was a bit safer to tell him from a distance. He knew how Damien got about Rose.

Damien was still stalking around, attempting to follow them back to their hideout. He was getting frustrated quickly, since he hadn't been having much luck. Then he caught the girls' scent, since they'd left the window open, and he darted off towards the building.

Taylor followed Damien at a relatively safe distance. At the moment, he didn't think anyone was safe from Damien, except maybe Rose. As soon as Damien took off towards one of the buildings, Taylor followed.

Damien literally kicked down the door, his eyes narrowed as he looked around. The other pack all jumped to their feet, growling at him, and he snarled right back. Without a word, all of them started to change. The others changed into wolves, while Damien changed into a large lion with a rumbling roar.

Sera looked up at the sound, confused. The hell? When had a big cat arrived?

Rose jumped at the sound. She hadn't expected it, but then again, she hadn't been sure what to expect in the first place. Regardless, it seemed like something was happening now.

Taylor hung back, letting Damien take care of the wolves. Once they were out of the way, he would go and find the girls.

The battle was short and bloody. Damien stood in the center of the room, all the wolves who'd attacked him lying around him. One had run off rather than fight, and Damien had let it. He looked over to where he could smell the girls and started down the hallway.

Sera stared at the door with some trepidation. That had not sounded like fun. at all.

Taylor took the hint and went down the hallway, looking for the room that the girls were in. It didn't take long for him to find the right door and get it open.
