"That sounds like a plan to me," Rose replied. "What time should I show up?" She also made a mental note to leave a spare change of clothes in her car, just in case. She didn't know if she would end up spending the night.

"Whenever you want, babe. I've got food here, so I don't need to go get anything." Damien yawned briefly.

"Although I could always use another warm body to sleep next to..."

Rose couldn't help but blush a bit, even though he couldn't see her.

"I might just be able to oblige you," she replied, a little teasingly. "Well, once I change into clothes nice enough to actually leave the house in, I'll be on my way."

Damien snorted at that but didn't object. "Good," he said, clearly pleased, even though he himself wasn't exactly clothed to go out anywhere since he was missing his shirt. And he didn't plan to put one on, either. "I'll see you soon, babe."

"Alright, I'll see you soon, then," Rose replied. Once she was off the phone, she threw a spare set of clothes into a bag, put on proper clothes, and went back downstairs.

"I'm heading out, Sera," she called to her friend. "I probably won't be back tonight."

Sera snorted. "Off to Damien's? Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. Don't forget I have work tomorrow, so you'll have the house to yourself most of the day. I'll feed everyone before I go."

"Alright," Rose replied. "I'll check on everyone when I get back, just in case." She grabbed her keys and slipped her shoes on. "See you later."

Once she put her bag into her car, she left. She knew the way to Damien's place by now.

Damien had moved downstairs to make sure the door was unlocked and everything, still just wearing the sweatpants. He was currently busy rooting around in the fridge to find something good enough for dinner. He wasn't quite sure what he wanted to cook yet.

Rose pulled into the driveway, making sure not to block Damien's car in. She left her overnight bag in the car for the time being. She could always get it later if she needed to. Going to the door, she knocked.

"It's open!" Damien called, pulling out a steak and then going into the pantry to start grabbing things. His cat took it upon himself to run over and ram himself against Rose's legs affectionately, purring loudly.

Rose was nearly knocked off her feet as soon as she opened the door. She hadn't been expecting the cat to be right there. Toeing off her shoes at the door, she bent down and picked up the cat before he could trip her.

"I remember you," she said as she scratched his ears affectionately. "You're just a big lapcat."

The cat purred and snuggled up to her, getting comfortable there and relaxing, sprawling in her arms. He was a happy cat.

"I'm back here," Damien called, starting to season the steak for later on.

Rose followed the sound into the kitchen, the cat still in her arms. She leaned in the doorway, watching Damien appreciatively. He wasn't wearing a shirt, and she really kind of liked it.

"I take it you pretty much just rolled out of bed when I called, hm?" she asked.

Damien chuckled, still working on seasoning the steak. "Pretty much. But today's a lazy day, and I really didn't feel like getting dressed." He glanced back at her and grinned.

"I didn't think you'd mind the view, either, babe."

Rose grinned a bit and went over to give him a kiss.

"You're right, I don't mind," she replied.

Damien chuckled and set the meat aside to marinade for a while before he cooked it, and he stretched a bit.

"So, what would you like to do until dinner time?" he asked with a little grin. "Anything in particular?"

Rose shook her head as she put the cat down. The cat was massive, and was starting to get heavy.

"Not really," she replied. "Unless you had anything planned."

Damien shrugged and made sure the cat didn't try to go after the steak as he put it in the fridge. "Maybe watch a movie, just relax for a while." He grinned.

"That sounds like a plan to me," Rose replied. She shooed the cat into the other room, and then went in to make herself comfortable on the couch.

Damien made sure everything was cleaned up and put away before he followed her, looking through movies.

"You have any preference for a movie or should I just pick something?"

Rose shook her head, absently petting the cat when he jumped into her lap.

"No real preference, just no horror," she replied. "What do you have?"

"A little bit of everything," Damien replied with a shrug. "I've got most of the classics, things like Pirates and Peter Pan, the Hannibal movies..." He shrugged. "Take your pick, darling. What are you in the mood for?"

"How about Pirates, then?" Rose suggested. The movies were long, and she'd seen them often enough that she wouldn't mind if they got distracted.

"Sure," Damien said, pulling out all three and setting up the first one. Then he plopped next to her, relaxing and stretching one arm out across the back of the couch behind her as the movie started.

Rose leaned against him as the movie started, making herself comfortable. She didn't bother moving the cat that was still on her lap.
