Taylor reached over and took the check.

"I don't think so," he said as he went for his wallet. "Dinner is supposed to me my treat, remember?"

Sera made a face at him but let him take the check.

"Oh, alright," she agreed. "You're spoiling me, you know." Not that she really minded, but she felt it needed to be pointed out. At least once.

"Is that a bad thing?" Taylor asked as he set down his card with the check and the waitress came around to collect the check again.

"Not neccessarily, I suppse." Sera shrugged. "Just pointing it out."

"Consider it pointed out, then," Taylor replied. Once he got his card back, he put it into his wallet. "Ready to go when you are," he said.

Sera nodded and got up, stretching a bit and cracking her back. Then she headed for the door, already thinking about what she had to do for the rest of the night and in the morning before she went to work.

Taylor followed her to the door and out to the car.

"So, are we heading back to your place, then?"

"Probably," Sera said. "Unless you had anything else in mind, I think so." She looked over at him with one eyebrow raised.

"Nothing that would involve being outside the house," Taylor replied, only half-teasing.

Sera blushed but didn't object. Hey, she could not be blamed for this. "Alright, I guess straight home, then."

"Alright." Taylor walked with her to the car and opened the door for her. Hey, he could be a gentleman sometimes. When he remembered.

Sera slid in and settled into her seat. She glanced over at him before looking out the window, thinking about the wedding and her own trip and work.

Once Sera was settled in the car, Taylor got in and started off towards her house. If nothing else, he was going to have her enjoy the rest of the evening.

Once he'd gotten to her house and parked, Sera let them in and checked on all the animals. Once she was sure no one needed anything, she made her way back downstairs.

"So, what would you like to do? Movie or something else?"

"I'll leave the choice up to you," Taylor replied. He'd been more than partially serious when he was flirting with her earlier, but he was still going to be stubborn about waiting on her.

Sera nodded and went to go pick out a movie, setting it up and then settling herself on the couch. She glanced over at him and raised an eyebrow. So far they hadn't gotten very far, but she had to admit she was... curious.

Taylor went and sat down next to her, leaning over to give her a kiss. There was probably a bit more heat in the kiss than he'd initially intended, but he doubted anyone could blame him.

Sera certainly didn't mind, shifting on the couch so she could kiss him more easily. The movie had started, but she wasn't paying attention anymore.

Taylor hadn't been paying attention to the movie to start with. He kissed Sera again, letting her shift on the couch. He moved a bit as well, so that he didn't have to twist around to kiss her.

Sera tugged him closer with a little smirk, still kissing him. Hey, she could be demanding once in a while. It was fun.

Taylor didn't mind at all that she was being demanding, and moved a bit closer like she wanted.

Sera eventually had to pull back for air, panting a bit and rather red. She blinked at him, biting her lower lip.

Taylor reached over for a moment and hit the button to turn the TV off. There was no point in leaving it on when they clearly weren't going to pay any attention to it. He stood up, and pulled her to her feet, kissing her again.

"Come on," he murmured. "The couch isn't the best place."

Sera nodded and followed him upstairs to her room, shutting the door behind the two of them.

The next morning she yawned and rolled over, unwilling to get up. She blinked a few times so she could get a bleary look at her clock. And then promptly sat up, clutching the blankets up to her chin. She was going to be late for work.

Taylor rolled over and cracked an eye open when Sera suddenly sat up. It still seemed early, yet.

"What's wrong?" he asked.
