Damien just snickered. "It's not my fault," he muttered, grinning at her. "I like impressing you." He kissed her briefly. Although, honestly, he hadn't really thought about it that much.

"Tempting me now are we?" Sera grinned but grabbed the remote, turning on the TV and starting to channel flip while she settled on her stomach, facing the foot of the bed.

"Then consider me impressed," Rose replied, returning the kiss.

"Something I find I'm good at," Taylor teased as he moved around so he could start rubbing her back. He'd learned how to give a good massage, and did his best to give Sera one.

Damien smirked, very smug now, and pulled her closer. "Sure we can't just stay out here for the rest of the night?"

Sera groaned quietly and relaxed into a little puddle of goo on the bed. She wasn't even paying attention to the bad sci-fi movie she'd found.

"Pretty sure," Rose replied, blushing just a little. "They'll come looking for us if we miss dinner, and I don't want my family finding us like that." She gave him a kiss. "But after the obligatory family time after dinner, we can disappear for the night and nobody will care."

Taylor grinned and kept up the massage. Hey, he was good at what he did.

"Feel good?" he asked.

Damien sighed but nodded. "Alright," he agreed with a little grumble. "Well, let's at least get this set up so we don't have to worry about it later."

"Very," Sera mumbled, not even moving. It did feel good, and she didn't exactly mind the nice treatment either.

"That was the plan," Rose replied, giving him a kiss. "Less work to do tonight." She grinned. "You know, when your mind is on other things," she teased.

"I'm glad you like it," Taylor replied as he moved up to massage her shoulders. She was a bit tight there, and he worked on easing the tension.

Damien grinned and kissed her again. "Good, sound plan," he murmured. "Come on. Better get the bed set up before someone comes to find us."

Sera sighed happily and relaxed even more against the bed, her eyes closing as she let him continue.

"Best. Vacation. Ever."

"But I like it when you kiss me senseless," Rose murmured back around the kiss. Reluctantly, she broke away to make up the bed quickly.

Taylor chuckled.

"I'll do this whenever you want me to," he offered. "Just ask."

Damien grinned briefly. "I'll do much more of that after the necessarily family time." He smirked and helped her finish setting up.

Sera grinned. "Oh, you better be careful or I'll have you doing this at least once a week."

"I'll look forward to it," Rose replied. And luckily, she had an excuse all ready for escaping the family time later: it was a long drive, after all, and she wanted to settle in for the night.

"I will if you want me to," Taylor said. He didn't mind, if it was for Sera.

Damien grinned and held out his hand so they could head back to the house. He knew dinner wouldn't be for a little while yet, but he wanted to get some of the questions out of the way so he could actually eat dinner without being pelted by questions.

"You're too good to me." Sera smiled and turned her head so she could look at him.

Rose took his hand and went with him back into the house. Time to interact with the family again. Hopefully, there wouldn't be any more surprises this time.

"You deserve it," Taylor replied. Bracing himself against the bed, he paused the massage and leaned down to give her a kiss.

Damien grinned at her and walked with her into the house again, refusing to relinquish her hand. He didn't care who saw. Besides, he figured he could fend off or outrun any of her family members.

Sera grinned briefly and returned it, still relaxed. Hey, she didn't mind. Besides, she rather liked this vacation.

Rose blushed slightly when she realized some of her cousins were staring as they walked into the house, but she didn't do more than that. She didn't mind that everyone could see that she and Damien were together.

Finishing up the massage, Taylor sat down on the bed next to Sera and gathered her up into his arms. He quite agreed, this was an excellent vacation so far.

Damien just looked at the cousins for a moment before moving a little closer to Rose so they could do the whole mingling thing.

Sera was quite content to stay there for a little while, resting against him with a smile.

"Maybe tomorrow we'll go walk around and explore, hm?"

Rose leaned against Damien a little.

"Just relax," she said softly to him. "The family is a lot of fun, once you get comfortable around them. And it's only for a few days."

"Sounds like a plan to me," Taylor replied. "Anything you wanted to do first tomorrow, or did you just want to explore?"

"I know. It's just a lot of smells at once." He wrinkled his nose just slightly.

"Hmm. Wander around first, see what's out there? Then we can decide." Sera looked at him to make sure that was okay.

"I don't think there's anything we can do about that," Rose replied. She leaned up and gave him a kiss.

"I think that's a good plan," Taylor replied. "If you want, we can wander about on the beach for a while and see what there is out that way."

Damien chuckled quietly and let her, holding her close for a moment before he let go of her so she could go talk to her clan.

"Sure. Sounds good to me." Sera grinned at him.

Rose snuggled close to him until he let go, and then she reluctantly got up to go interact with the family. She couldn't just spend the whole week clinging to Damien, after all.

"Then that's what we'll do," Taylor said. He grinned and pulled Sera closer.

Damien chuckled quietly and walked with her around the room, stopping to chat with whoever wanted to. He didn't mind, after all.

Besides, it was better to get some of the inquisition over with early.

Sera laughed quietly and snuggled closer to him quite happily. She could definitely get used to this.

Rose was told to help set the table a couple hours later, and did so with surprising efficiency, considering the table extended out of the dining room and into the family room to accommodate the many seats.

"Go get a drink out of the fridge and claim your spot now," she advised Damien. Some of her cousins were already doing just that. It was becoming clear that the seating was arranged pretty much by rank in the family, with her grandfather at the head of the table and going from there. Once she finished setting the table, she got a can of soda out of the fridge and set it at a place about half-way down the table that had an empty seat on either side.

Taylor didn't mind spoiling Sera at all, and was already going through possibilities in his head for the rest of the week. Excursions, yes. Swimming, definitely. And if he remembered correctly, there was a nightclub down the street, which was always a possibility.

Damien nodded and grabbed a drink, immediately grabbing a spot next to her at the table. And anyone who tried to tell him not to was in for a big surprise. But he didn't think there would be any problems.

Sera stayed there for the time being, just relaxing with him. She hadn't realized how nice this vacation would be. Not that she minded, of course.

"Now, because we set the table, we don't have to clear it after," Rose murmured to Damien. They only really had to spend about an hour with the family after dinner, and then they could retreat out to the gazebo again.

Thankfully, the inevitable questions over dinner were short and simple, mostly about how Damien and Rose met and how long they'd been dating.

And, of course, the one teasing, overly-dramatic "Oh my GOD, Rose is dating someone!" from one of her cousins.

Taylor leaned down just a bit and gave Sera a lazy kiss.

"We have two options for food here," he commented after the kiss. "Room service, or we can go out and see what there is. What would you rather do?"

Damien was perfectly polite during dinner, and kept up with the conversation easily. Well. Conversations, since there were a couple going on at a time, with a table this big. But he didn't mind.

Besides. It gave him some insight into her family, which was always good.

Sera blinked, taking a second to restart her brain after that kiss. Then she grinned briefly.

"I think room service tonight. Tomorrow we can go be adventerous."
