How is my Jakey today?

I have this thing where no matter what it is, movie, anime, book, whatever, my favorite character is always the one who dies :(
Examples: Sirius Black, L, Lavitz from Legend of Dragoon, Sephiroth ((all though this one is still up for debate, don't debate it with me. It's srs bsns. XD))

No, he's not. Light was. Light would have been my favorite character, being the villain, but him being the main character countered that. I never like the main character XD
