I forget what my acutal phone was, but I sent it in to get it fixed and so I'm using my old Krazer. I'm through Sasktel.

I love my red Krazer. There are only 2 things I wish it had, a headphone port (it has an mp3) and a memo pad (only has voice memo).

I have a Verizon LG touch.

I enjoy my phone for the sake of the phone. I use it for what I need. I don't need silly apps or open availability to the internet at all hours minus e-mail for work(if I wanted that I'd buy a comp....). I pay a little more than I would like but whatever.

The only thing I have against it is I don't really care for ALL touch screen. If my screen breaks than the buttons provided won't allow me to click options so I'm screwed. I haven't had any issues though.

yeah it's a company only available in my province (I'm in Canada).

I dislike touch screens as well Saeton. I miss my old phone. It was a slider with a keyboard... my Krazer is a normal flip phone

i have had this phone since my birthday on may fourth my previous phones where all flip phones...which i broke not on purpose just my clumsiness and bad luck

I have a chocolate touch phone. I love it but I always have bad luck with cell phones. I'm not sure why but my battery works find when I get the phone but after a while my battery drains so fast. :( I make sure I charge it before the battery bar gets to low.
I love the music part though.

ooh it called the batter memory thingy i dont know if its the exact name but it happens when you constantly charge your phone when its not dead it remembers where you last charged it and and doesnt read the life that it already has
...im horrible at explaining things...i usually cutt my phone off and charge it or let it die first due to this reason though

I just have a normal flip phone from Verizon. I love that I have unlimited texting o3o, and can take pictures with it. But the one thing that I hate is that this damn thing has a MIND OF IT'S OWN. If it moves at a certain angle it will open up say the music area, or voice commands. And when it does open the voice commands part, you hear from my pocket, "Please say a command" *head desk*. Also it has times where it freezes like a computer and you have to turn it off and back on.

I have the Samsung Reclaim~ Of course, it's Sprint. The best thing about it is well... I just love it! The only cons is that it sometimes freezes so you have to take the battery out of it and also the back won't stay on. Also, sometimes it likes to be a jerk and cut of messages and not receive my emails and load internet pages. But other than that...

I have an older Blackberry at the moment because my Samsung Instinct's touch screen broke. Touch screens are nice, but I've not had one last over a year yet :(

I like the Blackberry, but I miss my touch screen. I still accidentally go to press things on the screen even though it won't work xD

The cons of any of the new cell phones, to me, is the fact that it's not easy to dial 911 anymore. On older phones, you didn't need to see your phone, you could feel the numbers where they are on every other phone and know where exactly the 9-1-1 buttons were. On these newer phones--especially touch screens--you need to flip to a certain screen to dial a number, which, in an emergency situation, can be a pain.

I have an LG Rumor, and it was okay for the first year or so, but now if I hit buttons on the keypad too quickly, it'll shut itself down. No power down tone like when I deliberately turn it off, it just shuts off completely and suddenly. I hate it.

It also didn't help that Radio Shack sold it to me as a new phone, and when the external speaker died (the one that, y'know, tells me it's ringing), I found out it was a refurb and wasn't serviceable since it was out of warranty (whereas a new phone would have still been in warranty). And then the manager tries to tell me that it's legal to tell me it's a new phone when it's a refurb. Both her district manager and my service provider got some very nasty phone calls, and in the end, they serviced my phone for no charge.

I can't wait to get a new one though. I want something that flipping works! :gonk:

Rooh: I'm not sure how other phones are, but on the Android, there's a special button on the main screen for emergency calls (since you have to know a special keystroke that the user sets to unlock the phone, which would be useless if a stranger was using it to try to call an ambulance for you or something...). So yeah, that's pretty neat. I wish all phones had a feature like that on the home screen.

If it does, that's a great feature! I haven't had the pleasure of playing around with an Android phone yet, but I know that my Blackberry has no such feature. It would be really nice if it did, though. I'll have to look into that next time I'm phone shopping. Thanks!

I've got an iphone and I loves it good.

Since it's an iphone obviously I'm with AT&T- which 'm not as happy about. I live in a major city so I don't have too many signal problems- but when I'm travelling to visit friends in remote parts of NY state I find that I have long stretches of time with no signal at all (which is freaky).

After having and using this phone for the last year I honestly don't think I could go back to any other kind of phone this one is so easy to use and just so damn useful!

I know iphones have the emergency call feature on the home screen when the phone is locked.

I wonder if most touchphones have that feature? My non-touch will unlock just by sliding it open and closed again, so maybe since you can't do that on some touchphones, it's one of those kindof-required features?

Though, the Android has a keyboard, but I figure since you can get into financial records with the phone (depending on the apps), the slide-pattern is more of a security feature than an "anti-butt dialer" or anything.

Still, there should be an easy way to call emergency services from mobile phones. Why would that be something that you have to opt in to and pay extra for?

I currently have a Sidekick LX. I really hate how you can't add ringtones to it, like the free ones.
You just simply can't and it bugs me because the ringtones are SO expensive. I'm selling it to get a new phone.

I have the Chocolate Touch too. I like it, it's a pretty nice phone. Though sometimes I wish I had a smartphone. But the data plan for that was too expensive. I am so happy I have a touch screen now. And the internet is so much easier to use because of that. I wouldn't even bother with a nice phone like that if I didn't have internet on it. x_x As far as downloading apps for it, I haven't really seen very many apps for the Chocolate Touch. Maybe one or two, and they don't catch my interest, so I've not bothered with that. Apps would be cool if they actually make a lot of them for that phone but since it's a dumbphone I don't think that will happen, so I don't think I will bother with apps since I can't ever find any good ones.

I used to have some type of LG from verizon (and my brother had the same one).

It is the worst phone I have seen, but it can take some chunking across the room which is good considering it's the only phone I have ever wanted to chunk.

I have a Nokia Twist now.....it doesn't freeze up on me or anything. It makes me so happy and it has a QWERTY KEYBOARD! HALLAJUEH! And no touch screen, so there's no touch screen to break to where I can't get to certain menus and the like that happens with some phones.

Currently, I have an LG Xenon. I love the touch-screen and the keyboard~ Touchscreen because it's FUN and Keyboard because that way I can type 150-character phrases that randomly enter my head. But I miss my old Motorola Razor... ;3; I love flip-phones... I must be weird in that I only use my phone to call people and occasionally text and don't use it for internet... That's what I use computers and my psp for! XD

I have an iPhone. The iPhone 3GS though. My husband has the iPhone 4 and I like its look better.
For a while I was against iPhones (not JUST iPhones, but solely touch screen phones) because I wanted a keyboard, but after having two phones that were not as fun and various issues, I finally just decided to get my husband's iPhone once he got 4.
I'm glad I did. I like this much better. I would still rather have a physical keyboard, but just working and having fun apps is good enough. Haha~

I have the iphone 3GS the pro's are it has tons of great apps which stands for applications. You can also sync it to your laptop or computer and add music and movies and play lists and podcasts.
the Con's you can't text while your on the phone, it does not stay changed that long if you use up your battery by watching movie's and etc and texting to much

I use my cell phone as my home phone as well otherwise I would not have one. I think mine's an LG shine. I hate it. It's a hand me down phone from my mom since I accidentally washed my last phone in the washer. My phone before that I dropped at a concert. I have really bad luck with killing cell phones. I don't ever talk on the phone. I just hate talking on the phone period and see no reason to have to be on the phone with someone outside of the house.
