Léan nodded, slowly. "All right...I will be off, then...but, I will need assistance getting down to the beach from where I am now..." He looked a little embarrassed, having to admit that he needed help. It was rather endearing, in a way...

Adam smiled all to happy to help out Léan. "Ok let me help you then. Its still raining out so how would you like me to help. I don't think I could carry you..." Then he smiled. "I got an idea stay here." Adam open the door and out he went he came back in a few movements later kind of wet. He was holding more of those gaint green leaves. "They are very strong and I could pull you on it like a sled. Want to try it?"

Léan nodded, slowly. "All right...let's see..." He slowly shifted himself onto the leaf, and then curled himself up in a tight ball so that he would be easier to pull around.

"...I should be secure. Give it a shot," he suggested, hopefully.

Soon Adam started to pull the leaf with Léan on it out the door. The rain was cold and seem to make pulling the leaf a lot easier because the ground was all mud and slick now. "Its workings I'm glad I thought of this. He pulled Léan to the water edge then in to the water a little. "This far enough?"

Léan shifted, and then rolled over into the water, slowly. He seemed to be much more comfortable in the water than he was on land--his expression softened, and his tail swished back and forth pleasantly.

"All right...I will be back in a bit with some food. After that, lessons...unless you want to be stuck here for the rest of your life..."

He dipped down, spun around, and swam out to deeper waters until he was no longer visible.

Adam smiled and took the leaf back inside of the house and place it aganist the wall. He shut the door and tied it. Then started to dug a hole on one side of the house while Léan was gone. He wanted it done before Léan got back but he was not sure how far he could get. Those as he dug he found out where they were there was water under the sand like he had hope for. He then let the hole fill up with water and smiled. He tossed another log on the fire and waited for Léan to re turn.

Léan returned a little while later with four medium-sized fish...two held in each hand. He sat by the shore, tail swishing back and forth absently. "I am back, with something to eat. We should eat and then quickly prepare for lessons..."

He seemed eager about these lessons. He wanted to get the human back home as soon as possible, seeing as he didn't belong in a merperson's world...

Adam stood up and pick up his leaf from eariler then went to the water edge. He placed the leaf down and smiled to Léan. "Alright I'll pull you back in side and we can eat together. Then we can start lessons." He smiled thinking about the water hole he made for Léan and hope he would like it.

Léan held out the fish to Adam. "You had better take these in first...I can't pull myself up out of the water without my hands free..." he reminded him, sheepishly. "Two for me and two for you..."

He seemed to be in a better mood than he had been in the past few days.

"Okay then" He took all the fish. "I'll go put them inside then while you climb on out. I think you will be comfier inside now." Adam wrpaed the fish in the leaf then walk by Léan to see how he had done this the last time. He smiled happy he was glad Léan seem to be well cheerful so to say. This made him happy maybe they could learn to live together after all while he learn how to swim. He was thinking this was not going work out but some how everything was and it made adam very happy.

Léan was ready to be pulled back up. He could make his way up the house by himself, but it would wear him out, and he wouldn't do too well giving Adam his lessons. He also seemed surprised that things were going so well...he hated humans, but so far, they seemed to be getting along.

Adam moved back inside and placed the fish on a another leaf wraped up then went out to Léan and smiled. "Sure you don't want me pulling you in?" He wanted to help but Léan said he could do it him self so he did not want to make Léan mad at him.

"I...would not mind the help. See, pulling myself up would take away much of my energy...and I need that for your lessons..." Léan explained, tilting his head slightly.

Adam put the leaf down for Léan. "Ok then hop on and lets go I still have to cook my fish." He laughed. He smiled to Léan and waited for his new friend to get on it. "Oh that water hole should make your tail happyer it those I don't think I dug it deep enough for you to go totally under the water yet but its enough that you keep your tail nicely wet."

Léan edged up onto the leaf, easily. "I will test it later, after we have eaten and had your lessons. We will work more on floating today and we will see if you can swim properly for a bit..."

"Well it should be eailer seeing as I can touch here so if I get scared I cam stand up so it would be easier for me to relax a little." He said as he pulled Léan inside of the house then shut and locked the door with the tie. The sat down and handed Léan two fish. Then put his on two sticks and started to cook them over the fire.

Léan immediately dug into his fish...blood, guts, bone, and all. It was odd to watch him eat. Raw fish...well, sushi was raw fish. But sushi was not biting into the fish directly out of the water. That...that was odd.

Adam tried not to watch Léan eatting being it was to odd watching him eat that fish like that. He turn his own fish trying to cook them nice and even. "Léan? when I'm gone....will you think of me... or will I just be forgotten." He whisper he wondered if Léan would remember him long after he was gone. He know he would never forget the merman that saved his life.

"I have had no close contact with any humans all my life...so, I doubt I will forget this," Léan offered, absently, once he finished eating. It wasn't an emotionally charged answer...then again, little he did contained any sort of emotional charge...

Adam smiled then checked his fished. Léan's answer was good enough for him because Adam know he could never forget the merman. Adam moved his two fish from the fire then started to eat one of them after blowing on it. "Fish taste so much better warmed up." He was happily eatting his hot meal and looking at Léan a little. "Think it will rain all day?"

"Perhaps. I hope it does not storm, for your sake. I don't mind storms...but a storm here might damage your little home..." Léan pointed out, reasonably.

"I don't think I could held another storm I bearily live throught the last one." Adam said now starting on his second fish. "I mean yes this place is not where near strong enough for a bad storm yet but I can make it stronger just would take more time when we have. We still have lesson and building to make this stronger would take time from that."

"We can divide up the time." Léan was patiently waiting for Adam to finish so they could start on their lessons. He was wondering if the fish were providing enough water content for him...or if he would need a source of fresh water soon.

(i totally forgot about fresh water.... oh drink he most need water by now."

Adam was getting thristy after eatting the fish as he thought about it he had not had any thing to drink in a while now. He licked his lips wonder what to do for water then it dawn on him it was raining. "Before we start lesson I need to set some thing up to catch rain I need a drink of water."

Léan closed his eyes. "...Well...you could set up a canopy of leaves, if you'd like..."

He didn't know what else to say, except... "Are you ready to start lessons? We can start now...I won't make you do anything too extensive."
