The boy watched him leave, shaking his hair out slightly so that the ruffled look was gone. He was mystified by this man's behavior, since no one ever did anything just out of the goodness of their heart in his mind. But, for now, he decided not to question it. He sighed, and then shrugged. "Fine...all right. Have it your way. I'll stay...oh."

He glanced towards him for a brief moment. "My name is Ramses."

"My name is Shou." he said as he went over towards the front door. "I shouldn't be back to late. You may do what ever you want." he said as he slipped into his coat and walked towards his left and put on his shoes. "My cell number is on the fridge if u need to call me for anything." he said as he opened the door and locked it. "I'll see you later." he said as he left.

Ramses watched his new caretaker of sorts walk out the door. He didn't try to stop him, or think about leaving. Instead, he laid back down in bed, still not feeling a hundred percent. Now that he was full, clean, and hurt less, all he felt like doing was sleeping it off until he was back up and running again.

Shou ended up being forced to do the work that he'd done yesterday. He sighed as he washed the floors again before he was given his two hour break for lunch. He planed on going home and checking on the boy that he'd decided to look after. He was worried about him since he didn't quiet well when he saw him that morning. He threw out the trash and then grabbed his coat before walking towards his house again.

The boy had woken up a few minutes ago. He was in the process of foraging through the kitchen for something to eat, feverishly...a bit hurriedly, like he was ashamed he was looking for food. He didn't notice when the door opened, and his 'caretaker' returned. He was too busy searching through the fridge, now, for something cool to drink. His throat was in the process of killing him.

Shou looked at him sadly as he walked slowly behind him and grabbed the apple juice. He took off the cap and handed it to him. "Drink all you need." he said with a sad smile as he moved away from so he wouldn't scare him and he couldn't stop the tears from falling. He hated when he saw people like that. He'd delt with people like that for a while and he had gone through a time in his life so he knew how it felt. He sat at the table and just pretended to be thinking about what he was going to have for lunch so he wouldn't worry Ramses.

Ramses was thoroughly startled by Shou's sudden appearance, and he jumped. He calmed down quickly, and then gingerly took the apple juice, giving it an exploratory sip. He found that he liked it, and set it down on the counter. After a few more minutes of searching, he found an Italian sub he could make himself in the freezer, and flipped the box over, to study the directions ont he back.

Shou smiled as he watched him. He stood up and ruffled his hair as he took it and then stuck it in the microwave for one and a half minutes. "So you know how to do it next time." he said as he went in the fridge and unwrapped one of the ones he'd made that morning. "Here. So you have something to eat while you wait. I forgot I had the frozen ones." he told him as he went back to the fridge and took out some random things and went to the stove. He put butter on a pan and then started to heat it up. He took out a few unions and then started to peal them. He got out a cutting board and a knife. He placed it on the table and started to cut them and threw them in the pan.

He mixed the unions around then he got out the salami and cute it up. "Would you like to try some?" he asked as he got out the noddles and set them next to the cut up salami. He got out a pan and filled it half way with water and put it on medium heat.

Ramses recoiled when Shou ruffled his hair, almost like he was expecting to be hit. When he wasn't, he cracked an eye open to find Shou starting to make some more food. He watched him, idly, for a while--he himself was a terrible cook, and even when he had a home, he'd never even been able to manage grilled cheese...

He shifted, and then nodded. "I would like to try some, yes..." Once the microwave beeped, he snatched up the sub out of it and found a place to sit in the kitchen. Quickly, he began to down the hot food.

Shou looked down at him worriedly. Thoughts ran through his mind but the one thing that he worried about was that it was really hot since it had just come out of the microwave. He really didn't want him to hurt himself because he was eating the hot food too fast. So he walked over to him and took it away from him. He took a small piece off of it and then held it to his lips. "May I ask you something?" he asked as he waited to see what he was going to do. He really didn't want anything bad to happen to him. He looked like he went through a horrible experience.

"What is it?" Ramses didn't move a muscle, and made no move to get his food back even though he was still starving. He did indeed look like he'd had a rough time, even after changing into different clothes and taking a nice, hot shower. His eyes were blank, he flinched at even the slightest things...

He must have had a bad home life. Either that, or something heavy was weighing on his mind.

"Is there something that I can do to make any of this easier? You can tell me anything and I wont tell anyone. I just don't like to see how scared you seem to be." he said as he decided to cut it up and hope that he would eat it slower. "I do have to get back to work soon, I will bring the leftovers back home for you. I'm sure the chef will be glad to see me taking food thought I want to give it to you." he said with a soft sigh as he place the plat back in front of him before he moved away.

"...If you could maybe find out where my brother is...?" Ramses suggested, rather meekly. "I...well...he's my twin, identical twin. We got separated a few months back after we had a fight. I haven't been able to find him. I'm a bit frightened for him..."

He quickly dug into his food once it was returned to him. He was forced to eat slower, though, since there were small pieces.

He was glad his idea worked. "Okay, I'll help you find him...Just gonna have to talk to a good friend of mine and do him a favor before he'll do it but I'll find him for you." he said in a cool tone as he walked around and ended up getting his coat on. "I have to get back to work. I'm right down the street if u need anything. Just ask for Shou and they'll take u to me. And I have plenty of cloths in my closet if you want to change." he said as he walked out and ran back to work.

Ramses seemed relieved that his new companion would help to find his brother. He perked up once Shou started to leave, though. "His name is Lygo...Lygo Amunet," he called, as an add-on detail. Once he was gone, he quickly started finishing up his food. He was just starving...the food was filling a wretchedly large hole in his stomach.

Shou spent another five hours working. It was so annoying because his boss was extra nervous because a critic was coming today. What he didn't know was that he came and left the first half of the day so he spent the rest of the day worrying about nothing. Shou grabbed his coat and instead of turning for home he headed towards the police station. Shou wanted to help his new friend find his brother and would do anything to help him, even this. He knew he would regret it later.

He walked up the steps and through the door before taking the first right and going to his office. He took a few deep breaths before walking through the door. "Hey Yuki, you around?" he asked and that was all he was able to say before tight arms go around his body and he almost jumped out of his shoes.

"Hey! I haven't seen you in weeks." the taller man said as he tightened his hug. He let him go when he felt the smaller male start to flail. He sighed a bit as he walked back over to the desk. "I haven't seen you since I asked you to make that dinner for me, which was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAmazing." he said with a happy smile. He really wasn't looking forward to getting back to work.

"I came here to ask a favor. I have this boy that's staying at my house and I was wondering if you would help me find his brother." he said as he walked over and sat on the edge of his desk. He crossed his arms over his tan jacket that hugged his body.

"Sure, but it will cost you." he said with a happy grin.

"I know, dinner." Shou said as he stood up, "Be at my house after you get off work and i'll have something made for you." he said as he started for the door. He looked back to see Yuki smiling happily and rushing through his work. He smiled at the man then walked out and turned left before reaching the door. He started for his house.

While Shou had worked, Ramses had decided to get some more rest. He had gone without sleep for so long that resting now was probably best for him in the end. He had a full belly...now it was much easier to sleep.

He had a few nightmares, which quickly startled him out of sleep. Most were about what had happened to drive him and his twin out of their home...a negative memory. Some were about his simpler fears, such as heights and needles. Another was about being kidnapped and tortured...

Other than those few nightmares, Ramses slept soundly. He was still asleep when Shou came home, and he barely stirred when he heard the front door open.

Shou smiled as he walked in the front door and looked around the room. He noticed the lights were out and figured that he was asleep. He turned on the kitchen light and started to cook dinner quietly not wanting to wake him up. He finished making Oden and then made some traditional Ramen. He set them on the table then decided to go check on Ramses.

He walked down the hall and to the bed room and looked in to see if he was awake and okay.

Ramses only woke up when he smelled food. He was groggy, propping himself up on the bed with a single arm and glancing around rather blearily. He glanced up at Shou when he opened the door, blinking a few times to get used to the light pouring into the room.

Shou smiled as he saw Ramses sitting up in the bed. He was glad that he was okay. "I've made dinner. Would you like to join me and my friend. He's the one that will help you find your brother." he said as he smiled happily before he left the room to get the door. He had a feeling that he would be here. As he opened the door to see Yuki just about to ring the door bell. "Oh no. Not again." he said with a bit of a glare as he pointed in toward the table that had food out on it.

Yuki didn't have to be told twice. He walked in passed Shou and took one of the four chairs that were at the table. Yuki noticed another place setting and looked back at Shou. "Is someone else eating with us?" he asked.

"Yes. He's in my room right now. He'd just woken up. He seemed to be a little tired still." he said as he sat next to him. He sighed a bit as he leaned back in the seat. "He's the reason that I brought you here. His brother is missing and we'd like you to find him." he said as he smiled at him.

"...Sure," Ramses replied, his voice a little distant and unsure. A friend? Someone else? Well, it wasn't that he was unfriendly--no, he'd been quite social in his better days. He just wasn't fond of the idea of anyone else seeing him in his current state of affairs. He was nearly skin and bones, shaky, hoarse-voiced.

Despite his self-conscious fears, Ramses slid out of bed, standing up and fiddling with his shirt and pants. He nabbed one of the smaller blankets on the bed and wrapped it around his shoulders, since he was feeling rather cold. Honestly, he was sure Shou wouldn't mind him coming to the dinner table all wrapped up. He was insanely skinny and sensitive to the temperature.

He finally managed to shuffle out of the room, towards Shou and his friend. He was sure he looked awful--his hair was unkempt, his skin was chalky pale...he had big bags under his eyes, even after all the sleep he'd gotten.

Yuki's eyes fell onto the other man as he walked in the room and he smiled. "Why hello. My name is Yuki. I'm the Chief of this town and I heard that your looking for your brother." he said as he turned his eyes away sure that he wasn't used to being near people. He looked like he went through hell but all he wanted at the moment was the food.

Shou smiled as he walked out. He was glad Yuki was as kind hearted as he was. He dished out the dishes that he'd created to the others before himself. "I hope this is okay with you. I wasn't sure what you liked and I need to pay Yuki for his services." he apologized as he softly ran his fingers through Ramses' hair after he sat down next to him.

"My twin," Ramses clarified, hesitantly walking forward to take his designated seat beside Shou. "He looks just like me. He's a quarter of an inch taller than me, however..."

Little facts would do, he thought. After all, they looked identical despite their height difference. Ramses' mouth watered at the mere smell of food. After going so long without sustenance, any kind of food appealed to the young man. His arms shook, and he smiled slightly at Shou. He had a nice smile--a slightly shy and timid one.

He was actually a kind and social person. Being homeless and put through trauma had taken its toll on him, and he would have to recover before he returned to his old self.
