yayyy!!! new vegas just recently came out and i just wanted to know your guys' opinions on it! like? dislike? compared to fallout 3? :D

I like it a lot. Its not different than Fallout 3 and could be considered more of an expansion than its own game. I was disappointed in the intro to be honest.

There was something about being born, raised, and leaving the vault to enter the world, being instantly blinded by the bright light of the sun, seeing it for the first time that really set the stage for F3.

However, this one takes the path of revenge and though I'm not far in it, I look forward to seeing how it plays out.

The 30 level cap is a nice improvement, but I was also disappointed to realize you only get 15 perks... Also, in F3, you could arrange your perks and points to a point where you almost maxed out all attributes, where this game switched up the perks to avoid such a possibility, while leaving some of the less entertaining perks.

Some things make the game great, such as the ability to toy around with ammo and enhance guns, but again, when I get further into the game, I'd be able to better rate it.

I just got it the other day from my boyfriend and did not get the chance to play it yet. But I'm thinking that if I enjoyed Fallout 3, then I'll like this one.

Thats my general outlook as well Liztress! I've played a little into it and I'm really enjoying it.

oh, totally agree with you on how it's like an expansion of fallout 3. the gameplays the same... they pretty much just added some stuff and took away some some stuff. xD i rlly hope you're liking it tho because i'm enjoying myself wayyy too much... urgh, but since black ops just came out i think it might take a lil longer than i expected till i'm able to finish it =_=

Okay, I really really really like this game. I just bought it on Black Friday.
BUT, For a while it was really really really glitchy, and even after all of the patches it will still crash or glitch up after a while.

I would definitely recommend this game though, the game play is nothing less than epic and the millions of different things you can do make it so personal.

Though I was slightly disappointed in the character creation, mainly the visual parts, I still love it.

One of my best friends spends endless hours playing this game, he can't get enough of it. I guess it is like me and Maple Story lol hehehehe. Another co worker loves it and is almost finished beating it. They both say it's much harder than its predescessor.

I have it. Got it for 40 dollars, but Ia m not playing til next year.
