Isaac smiled when he heard her and frowned when the song had finished. So he simply hugged her as close to him as possible, "the most fun I have had in a while." he said softly and smiled when he heard another song come on. "do you want to dance again or do you want a prince?" he asked because he oculd spy one looking at vera right now. He wanted to hurt he prince for looking at her but knew the king would want this.

Vera looked around and noticed a prince looking at her and she sighed. "I want to dance with you again...but I guess I should give the prince a chance." she said to him and looked at the prince putting on her sweet smile. She then looked over at Isaac and hugged him. "Well think about it this way...you have me all to yourself at the lake." she said to him and giggled.

Isaac smiled when he heard her and nodded, "I guess you should." he said to her softly and glared at the prince. He then hugged her back and smiled, "I think htat is the only thing that is keeping me from hurting him." he said to her softly and watched as the prince came over to her. "may I have this dance?" he asked as he held out a hance ot vera.

"Please don't hurt him Isaac...." she said and turned to the prince. "Yes you may..." she said and smiled at the prince only because she didn't want to be rude.

Isaac nodded and looked at Vera, "dont worry, I wont promise." he said to her and watched her carefully. The prince smiled as he took her hand and nodded, "then come, leave your guard here." he said as he smiled at her.

Vera looked at the Prince and then at Isaac. "He is my guard dear prince and has to be with me at all times...that's what father said." she explained and was starting to get scared.

Isaac glared at the prince, "but you will be with me, you wont need him." the prince said and instantly isaac stepped between them. "sorry but you better leave." he said as he glared at the prince. The prince looked at him and was going to argue but stopped. He then backed off and Isaac watched him go. "i dont like him.

"Isaac! You shouldn't have done that!" she said and turned away from him. "I know you don't like him but you don't have to let him know by practically fighting with him!" she said and pouted angrily.

Isaac frowned when he heard her and looked down at theground, "I am sorry Vera, I just don't like the looks of him. Something about him did t feel right and I didn't want you close to him." he said as he looked at her. He knew he was being protective but it was his job to be.

Vera turned to face him and sighed. "Okay...but try not to be so protective...you're acting like my father!" she said and decided to walk around the palace bored. "I mean....he seemed like a nice guy, and all he wanted to do was dance with me. What's so wrong about that?" she muttered.

Isaac nodded, "dont worry, I wont be your father." he said as he looked at her and followed her. He then sighed when he heard her, "a prince knows the importants of a guard. If he sees that a guard is positioned next to someone then he knows that she is being watched. If a prince asks for the guard to leave or try to take the princess without permition then it means that they want to try and take advantage of a princess." he said as he looked at her.

Vera listened carefully and sighed. She turned to face him and frowned. "Sorry..." she whispered and wrapped her arms around his neck gently. "I didn't know that....I didn't mean to get mad at you." she added quietly as she looked up into his eyes. Vera then pulled him into a deep kiss and stayed close to him.

Isaac was surprised when she wrapped her arms around him and he quickly did the same. "it is okay, you didn't know." he said to her softly and then found himself kissing her back and keeping her close to him. He then pulled away and looked into her eyes, "everything is okay." he said and gently stroked her cheek.

Vera frowned when he pulled away and stroke his cheek softly. "Come on...let's go dance some more..." she said and giggled as blush formed on her face. Vera was absolutely happy and hoped that they could be together forever. Then a thought came to her head...where was her father?

Her father was watching them carefully and still was split. Isaac and her seemed to be happy and that was what he wanted yet Isaac was suppose to be her guard and he wasn't a prince. Yet he showed he had potentical and he protected her. So for nowtheycouod be happy but he would have a talk with them. Isaac smiled and nodded, "yes, let's dance." he said as he took her hand and brought her close.

Vera smiled and stayed close to him as a new song began and she began to dance with him happily. The music was playing happily and people were all dancing around them some were chatting and laughing.

Isaac smiled as he danced with her and was happy to be close to her. He didn't want to be apart from her for a second but knew if a prince came along and asked ot dance he had to let them. After a few minutes of dancing a prince tapped vera on the shoulder, "mind If I bud in?"

Vera looked at the prince and shot him a sweet smile as she nodded. "I don't mind at all." she said and smiled. She was very nervous but relaxed knowing that if something went bad, Isaac was there to protect her.

Isaac looked at the prince carefully but then nodded, "have fun." he whispered ot vera as he stepped away. The prince then took Isaacs place and started to dance with her but isaac kept a close eye on them.

Vera smiled and nodded at what Isaac whispered before dancing along with the prince. She happily danced along with him and looked at him wondering how many prince's were here at this party and when she would be able to dance with her father.

The prince smield as he danced with her but soon anther one butted in and started to dance with her. Isaac watched the whole time and made sure that none of hte princes tried anything. Soon the king came over and tapped the prince on the shoulder, "can I dance with my daughter?"

Vera saw that many princes were here and many danced with her. When her father arrived she smiled happily and looked at her father. "Father, I was starting to think you weren't going to dance with me." she said and pouted her lips cutely.

The king laughed when he heard her, "I just wanted to let you dance with the princes that were here first." he said as he took her hand and started to dance with his little girl.

Vera smiled and began to dance with her father and suddenly missed her mother. "Well that was nice of you...one of the princes however, wanted to take advantage of me...that's what Isaac said. He said that only becaus the prince didn;t want me near Isaac." she explained.

THe king nodded as he listened to her, "isaac was right to push that prince away. I only sent over princes that asked to dance with you. But I dont think I remember one that was pushy." he said as he looked at her.
