Let's go to Madame Louise's boutique." said Vera. "Madame Louise always has the finest clothing...I'm sure I can probably find a dress there." she said to him and smiled. Vera walked with them out of the castle and began to go to the boutique. "La, da, da, la, da, da...da, da, da ,da.." she sung as she walked with them.

The king smiled as he followed his little girl out to the boutique. He knew that she was going to be happy now that she had a friend and a new dress. Isaac followed and made no sound, he was like veras shadow. He made Bo sound at all as he followed then to go shopping. But as he did he looked around and saw some homeless kids and wondered if he had been one of the. Before he wastrained.

Vera soon reached the boutique. "Here we are!" she said and spun around. Vera quickly went over to the dresses and began to look through them. There were yellow ones, red ones, blue ones....all kinds of colored dresses. They were of different styles as well so that made it harder for her to choose one. "Look at them all Father! They are all so beautiful...I don't know which one to get!" she said to her father.

The king chuckled when he saw Vera, "get which ever one you want and if you want to buy a second one I will think aobut it." he said as he looked at her and smiled. Isaac looked around the store and didn't really like bieng in there all that much. But he had to stay in there to be close to Vera, he ahd to protect her. "personally I think you would look good in all of them." he said softly as he looked at her.

Vera nodded at what her father said and began to look through the dresses. Her eyes were locked on a Burgundy dress. The top part was a corset like, it was very beautiful. "I want this one Father." she said to him. She then blushed when she heard what Isaac said. "Thank-you Isaac..." she said quietly and looked over at him.

THe king nodded and smiled at her, "i will get you that dress." he said as he smiled at his little girl. But when he saw the affect that isaacs compliment had on Vera he frowned. Isaac smiled at vera, "no problem." he said as he smiled at her but when he saw the look the king had he quickly looked away. The king didn't want her daughter to have any other relationship with Isaac, he was only suppose to be her guard and friend, that was it.

Vera grabbed the dress and smiled as she handed it to Isaac to hold. "You hold this while father pays for it. When we get home, I want you to lay it down on my bed and leave it there." she instructed. Vera then smiled up at her father and hugged him and stayed close to him. She always felt very safe around her father as well as with Isaac.

Isaac held the dress carefully since he didn't want to ruin it. THe king smiled at his daughter and payed for the dress right away, "now lets head out of here." he said as he lead the way to the palace. He wanted to talk to Isaac alone when he got home, he was going to make it clear that Isaac was only to be a friend and guard, nothing else. Isaac followed along behind them and made sure that nothing got on the dress.

Vera nodded and followed her father out of there. "Isaac, after you put my dress in my room, you want to play hide and seek again?" she asked him but stayed close to her father. She began to think when she would wear the dress, but decided that maybe for a party. Her father usually threw parties for her and brought a prince that he thought would be a good husband for her. Vera only smiles but she always said no to each one who wanted to marry her. She wanted to marry the one she fell in love with...so for now, she waited.

Isaac smiled when he heard her and nodded, "I would lime to play again." he said but then heard the king clear his throught, "but before he plays I would like a word with him." he said as he looked at Vera, "it is very important oh and I almost forgot to tell you but we ate going to be having a party soon. Prince William will be coming to met you." he said as he looked at her and hoped she liked him. She had turned down everyne he had brought to her so far.

Vera sighed. "Very well, you may speak with him..." she said and listened to her father talk about the party and the prince. "We'll see how it goes then won't we." she said. "I'll probably hate him too...just like every other prince." she said and frowned. "I'm excited though...I will wear this new dress that day." she said and looked over at her father. "Do you have an exact day set for the party?" she asked him.

The king nodded as they got inside the castle, "yes I actually do have a date, it is to be this friday. But do please try tolike him, if you don't pick a husband soon I might just have to find one for you" he said as he looked at her. He did t want to force her but she needed to marry a prince andonku a prince. Isaac then looked a Vera, "I will tOe this to your room." he said and dissappeared towards her room making now sound.

"Okay father...I'll see if he's the one who steals my heart." she said to him. "This Friday....so basically in four days..." she said and nodded at Isaac. "Thank-you Isaac..." she said and watched him leave. "What if I don't like this prince Williams?" she asked her father. "You should hate me for not loving someone I just met..." she added. "Love happens over time...you have to let it bloom." she said to him.

The king signed and loomed at her, "I know bit the time is soon coming, you have to be wedded at a certain time. I met your mother threw these gatherings, she was princes of the adaminta people. She was perfect and knew I had to have her as my bride. I am hoping thesame happens to you." he said as he looked at her. Isaac soon came back with no dress and smiled as the two talk.

Vera shook her head and crossed her arms. "I am not you or mother though!" she said to him. "I'm going to my room." she said and left quiet upset. She didn't even look at Isaac as she passed by him. When she got to her room, she looked at the beautiful dress and sighed. Vera quickly put it away in her closet and she sat down on her bed and played with her dolls.

Isaac followed her to her room and looked at her woryed. "is everything okay?" he asked as he looked at her. She looked a little sad and he wondered what the king had said to her. "what did your father say to make you sad?" he asked and you could tell he was worryed about her. Hewanted to see that smile on her face like before.

Vera looked at him. "Oh...Hi Isaac." she said and raised an eyebrow. "I thought my father was going to have a word with you." she said and looked down at her dolls. She frowned as she heard his question, she was surprised though to know that he even cared. "Prince William is coming to a party in this castle on Friday...my father has been wanting me to get married to princes but I turned them all down." she explained to him. "I told him that I wasn't going to marry someone I just met...and then he said that I had to get married soon or else he would just choose a prince for me to marry. He said that's how he met mother. They got married and were happy together....but I'm not them." she added.

Isaac smirked, "your father can wait since I am your friend." he said as he looked at her and frowned when he heard her. He sat down next to her, "well maybe he will see that you aren't sooner or later. I mean he could force you to marry but that will only made you sad, I am here to make sure that you aren't sad anymore. Maybe if I talk to him he will let you choice who you want to marry. But I dought he will like hearing that." he said as he looked at her and then smiled, "but if your looking for the right person then he should respect that." he said.

Vera then looked at him surprised. "You'll....you'll tell him that for me?" she asked him. She wondered what her father will say. "Please do tell him...if he punishes you..please tell me what he said and I'll see what I can do about it..." she said and yawned. "You hurry now, because we still have to play hide and seek again!" she said and smiled. Vera was happy to know that he would tell her father that for her, it was exactly what she would tell her father, but she didn't want to see him at the moment.

Isaac smikled and nodded, "sure, I will go and tell him." he said even thought he knew that he would get in trouble for saying this. He then got up and smiled at her, "I will be back in a minute." he said and headed out to the king. The king frowned when he saw Alvin, "I have something to say to you. "he growled but Alvin looked at him, "before you say anything I have a message from Vera. She says that she wants to choice her husband, she wants to find love her way and not your way." he said and the king nodded but glared at Isaac, "I will consider it but I have one warning for you." he said as he looked at Isaac, "you are to be only her friend, nothing else. If I find that you have tryed to touch her or do anything with her I will kill you." he said and then left. Isaac watched him go and was surprised that the king did nothing and headed back to Vera, "okay he said he would consider it." he said with a smile.

Vera smiled and clapped her hands. "Really? That's wonderful!" she said and hugged him. "Thank-you very much Isaac!" she said and then went back to her window. "Wanna play hide and seek? who should hide? Me again?" she asked. She grabbed her brush and began to brush her hair gently as she waited for an answer.

Isaac was surprsied by the hug and smiled at her. He had to remember to not get to close to her, she was only going to be his friend and nothing else. "how about if you hide again or I could go look for you." he said as he looked at her. He was sure that if he hide she would never find him.

"Okay then. You know what to do!" she said and ran out of the room. Her eyes scanned every room and smiled. "Father's study!" she whispered and ran to the study. The study always scared her but she liked hiding here. Vera looked around and she then sighed and hid behind the fur coats in the closet.

Isaac smiled and started to count as she went off to go hide. He then went off to go find her. He hoped that he would find her soon and as he searched around for her be found himself heading to he kings study. He had never been here before and he kjust hoped it was okay for him to be in there. He headed into the study and started to look for her but as he dis he felt wyes on him. The king was watching.

Vera waited silently in the closet and hid well behind the fur coats. She waited, and waited and hoped that he found her soon. She was beginning to get scared of the dark closet and closed her eyes as if to escape that darkness but that only made it worse. Isaac...where are you...please hurry and find me already! she thought to herself as she continued to wait patiently for Isaac to find her.
