I hated the ending. HATED IT. And then I watched the "alternate ending." Much better. Because it was the ORIGINAL ending, apparently, so the writing actually makes sense. When you plan a specific ending and then try to drastically change it last-minute without rewriting several other parts of a film... the quality suffers.

That's my opinion though. Some of the people I know like the given ending much better, and particularly because it "matches" the novels (the original ending was filmed before the last novel was completed; basically the re-film was correct for "accuracy" but it makes zero sense because the movie was framed for the original ending, damnit!).

Gah, this is really hard to vent about without actually saying what the endings are. xD

I wish my stepmother would bring back the movies she borrowed from me. I hadn't even gotten a chance to watch them yet :gonk:

I have stepmania on my eepc, and I think I'm about to get rid of it actually.

Crap, that reminds me that I'm going to have to figure out what to do with my DDR stuff... since I'm moving (and taking very very very few things with me). I guess I could just let my brother have them for a while, until I have space for them again. He used to play DDR anyway... but I have a really nice foam mat and I don't want him to break it >3>;;
