"I'm sure you'll find out, and if you wish I can help you." he offers. "Once I get settled in and to the point where I can I should see my friend back home, I'm sure she would love to be able to hang out again, we grew up as best friends, and we've always been there for each other, but ever since I started my line of work I never got to see her much, maybe in passing, that's it." he thought about how things were, the times they spent, the pranks they pulled, all of it.

Bara felt a bit of a pang of something from Meara as she woke to this information though stayed quiet... though seemed anoyed by something. "Ow I didn't know you had a friend... well one that you still had you hadn't said anything about her before... does she live close to here or something?" she asked not letting Meara's feelings show... she couldn't really tell though Meara was a bit jelious... she abviously liked Angel... even though Bara just saw him as a friend.

"We lived a ways away from here, but we keep contact as well as possible with my traveling, we are just friends, that's all we've ever been, and we were always happy with that." he says. "Sure we did some little things that normal friendships wouldn't do, well with a guy and a girl, we had sleep overs and watched horror movies, an laughed at them, staying up all night watching movies, and drinking soda." he says. "I miss those times sometimes. but I just want to know how she's doing, by seeing her in person, I think she moved though, she told me she moved actually now that I think about it, aan hour from here." he remembers now.

"Well that's nice... well now you can say you have more then one friend at least" Bara smiled at Meara calmed when Angle said they were just friends and nothing more... Bara just couldn't understand her right now... did she like Angel or something? "Well now if you want to go visit you know you always have a place to come back to." she smiled at him hoping he would take her up on that offer.

"Thanks, I think I will, it'll be nice to know one person." he says smiling. He finishes his breakfast. "So did we agree on who was packing the picnic for the hike or did you want to do that together?" he asked curiously, wanting to make Meara a bit more comfortable with the conversation.

"hm... well I did make breakfast so how bout we make the picnack together." Bara smiled easily and Meara settled completely in the back of the two's shared mind not minding this at all... not being adjitated anymore.

"Sounds fun, it is normal for friends to do things together, I'm pretty sure, it's been so long since I could even thing of that, I'm actaully not sure anymore." he says smiling a bit. "He felt good knowing he could be more of a friend now, now that he was looking for a different line of work, he felt at peace, he was always the kind of person to want to be a good friend.

"Yep... hm so what do you think would be good? You know I have tunes of stuff to fix... my friend was suposed to come over though she never did... I don't see her too much though so..." Bara said trailing off for a moment then smiled at Angel happily seeming to be in a good mood right now.

"How about sandwitches and potato salad?" he says. "ANd mybe some cucumbers cut into fours." he thought that sounded good, and it would be lighter to carry then some other things.

"Okay that sounds good. Here you start on the potato salid and I'll start with the others then I'll help you if you need it." Bara smiled as she got the ingreadiants of what they needed out and started cutting the cucumbers. "What type of sandwitch do you want? And how many?" Bara asked lightly as she finished cutting the cucumbers.

"Umm, ham and cheese sounds good, and how about three?" he says, he did eat two on average. He started the potato salad cutting and pealing the potatos, cutting them into reasonable sized pieces. he then uses the other ingredients and mixes it well, then covers the bowl it was in. "Salads done." he says smilnig kindly.

"And so are the sandwitches" Bara smiled setting the last of the five sandwitches on the paper plate and covering it with plastic wrap. "What would you like to drink? I should be good for awhile so I'm only takin a normal thermas... I'll probably take coolade... it's straberry what about you?" she asked lightly as she got the picture out that had the coolade in it.

"That sounds good." he says. "Do you have something to put these in so we can take them with us?" he asked. He thought about a few good trails he was on, but she probably knew better ones then he did, she did know this place better.

"Yep... a lunch pack that should keep these nice and cold." Bara smiled after pooring two thirmases of strabery coolade. "Here we go" she smiled as she got the insaleted lunch box down and started packing the stuff into it.

"Cool, so which trial did you have in mind, I don't really know the area." he says. "I'm sure you know a bunch more about the land then me at this point." He did wonder where she was thinking of anyway, so it worked out.

"Hm... well I was thinking about one of the trails that leads to the lake... I'm not sure which is best though." Bara smiled as she started tworeds the door then remembered that it was suposed to be cold later today. "We might want to take jackets... it's suposed to get colder later on." She commented going to the closet and grabbing her light jacket. "If you need one I have an extra.... one for a guy of course." she smiled lightly as she pulled the jacket out and showed it to Angel.

"That would be nice, thank you." he says gently taking hold of the jacket. "Yeah the lake one sounds good."

Okay then fallow me." Bara smiled as she walked out of the house waiting for Angel then shutting the door behind him. She then led him to the forest and started leading him to a rather clear path. "People in the town like taking this path most... though there is a turn off up here that is actually easier to get through... I've only used it a few times though it never changes." she smiled lightly though felt an odd emotion from Meara... though she ignored it for the most part since she had odd emotions about everything.

He follows her, noticing the path's scenes, and making sure not to trip, he had a a strange feeling that he hoped was just there. "It's nice here, really peaceful." he says smiling in excitement. He smiled more in the last couple of days then he usually did in a year since he really moved around to do his job.

"Yeah... that's what I love about these woods..." bara smiled though cept feeling Meara tugging at her to turn around and leave... like she listened... though she was curious as to why Meara felt this way. After awhile of them walking and chatting it seemed that Bara just frozed dead in her tracks her eyes turning to Meara's then her form fallowing. She was staring straight ahead. There, in the clearing by the lake, was a rather tall, short black haired man who was looking out at the water... though there was seeming to be something off about him... his skin seemed just a bit too pale though there was something else... an aura about him... and it seemed Meara knew who it was and what the aura it was.

He looked at Meara. "Is everything okay?' he asked her, he began to get concerned, then he saw the man by the water, it was a vampire, he knew by the look, and by the smell, he knew what vampire too, he went after him alone one time, he was alone too, and he thought he knew who it was. "Meara, I think that's your sire, I could tell him anywhere." he says.

Meara slowly nodded still staring at the man who hadn't turned yet... he was waiting for them to get just a bit closer. "How do you know him? I mean... how do you he's my sire?..." she whispered as she slowly turned her eyes away from the vampire male to look at Angel beside her... how could he know?... that was so long ago... no way this mortal knew that this vampire had been her sire... could there?

"I'm not a mortal, I'm a demon, I was sent to catch him after he left you safe, and those people couldn't get him." he explains. "I know the scent well." He was warry, would he remember ANgel? He didn't know, but one way to find out. He looks at Meara. "Want to go see him?" he asks her.

"Okay... but you can't be over 20 right? I mean you don't seem it... that was 75 years ago..." Meara said quietly and froze for a long few minutes at the thought... was she actually about to talk to her sire again? After 75 long years? She truly didn't even know he was still alive... if Angel had went after him... and all the others... how was he still alive?

"I age differently then humans, one year i age and about a decade or so i stay that age, and those time periods lengthen as I get older." he says. " I was a natural at my job so they let me and my mind matured a lot faster then humans do." he explains, hoping she'd under stand. "My family were also demons, we can still die, but it takes the right thing to kill us, and we have a really good immune system." he wanted for her to meet her sire. "Actually I look older thn I am, I'm only 18 in human years, now lets go meet your sire, I'm sure we will have plenty to talk about."
