"They were sent to end us, but they were taken care of." he said. Through the tent door he could see the glow of elements and he knew them to be in the hunter. And he knew that Thoedore was lying dead too. "They won't come back and mommy will be fine my darling." he spoke to Koinu. He hoped to calm her down.

Koinu listened some looking up at her father with big cute child's eyes and nodded. "Ow-kay... I wove you Daddy" she smiled some and she nuzzled into him and yawned cutely seeming to have warn herself out by using a power she didn't even know she had. This would definitely be an interesting child to raze... though they were an interesting family anyway.

"I love you too my darling." he said kissing Koinu's forehead. Then kissed Kitsune's forehead. Holding one of her hands in his. He looked at her and was glad he got in here in time. He was lucky too. He laid down and let Koinu sleep on his chest. He closed his eyes and rested. It was good thing he didn't move in his sleep.

(next day? Maybe a commander comes in to check on them or something?)

The night flew by and yet Kitsune hadn't woken at the first break of dawn like normal. The troops were already forming tiredly for their morning practice though none knew where Angel and Kitsune were... they assumed that they were at breakfast or still asleep... though none of them minded in the least. Soon a high ranking commander came to Kitsune's and Angel's tent having the two bodies removed already and tapped his foot on the ground outside the tent as almost a way of knocking. He peaked his head in and saw the three then saw how beaten and bruised Kitsune was and would have her tended to right away. He hoped to not desterb them though he wanted to talk to Angel to make sure that everything was okeay.

Just then Angel woke up and realized what time it was. He had to get to work but he didn't want to leave Kitsune and Koinu alone. He then noticed the officer and slowly got out of bed, tired out from using his enhanced powers last night, he noticed that they had gone for now over night, his eyes back to normal and sighed. He went out to meet the officer.

As a greeting the commander saluted Angel and waited for a moment before speak. "Good morning commander(I think that he was promoted to commander right? If not I'll change it XP ) how are you doing after last night? Is your wife and child okay?" the officer said as he glanced at Kitsune and Koinu slightly seeing them just curl up together when Angel had moved and they didn't seem like they were going to wake up any time soon.

((I think that would be it.))

He saluted him back. "Yes, we had a run in with a couple of nusenses, but we're still living, My wife was beat pretty bad, she didn't tell me how little she'd slept while she was away, so it was really Koinu who saved her, she is special like me and my wife." he said. "Would you please have someone look after them, i trust anyone here with that. I don't want to leave them unwatched and i do want to do what it is I do for you guys. Actually what does a commander do?" he asked feeling stupid. He noticed he was edging on at rambling and would be soon.

The officer nodded some and thought a bit. "Well... you still do what you have been though you also have a say in some of the other things that go on around the camp.... if it's needed you can sometimes tell troops that are not yours what to do... though also you have certain training sessions with the other commanders and such." he said as he thought some and since he was not a commander himself he did not know the full extent of what a commander did. "Ow they did tell me to come and offer you the day off to take care of your family if needed, I am sure that you would rather do that yourself correct?" the officer offered softly as he looked at Angel with one eyebrow raised some.

"Yes I would, thank you. Could you have someone make sure that my troops are trained. And would we be able to influence the organization that sent those bastards to stop tracking certain people who have only hurt others to protect themselves for being on the list for what they're born as, they can't control that." he said. "And they need to change their ways anyway." He hoped the officer would understand. "And please do have a medic sent to my tent to make sure that my wife is okay?"

The officer nodded to what he was saying then looked at him shocked. "They're putting people on the list that haven't done anything? What such as shifters like your wife? I'm sure that we can change that right away... we'll look into it and we will have someone go and start regulating that system.... hopefully we can work out the bugs in it." he said then chuckled some "I will get the medics though I think that you need sleep, you're babbling some. I will also have someone take care of your troops while you're not with them." The officer said as he saluted Angel again and was about to leave though waited to be dismissed just in case Angel had anything else he would like to say.

"Ah, i think I do need some more rest. Thank you so much. I can't tell you how many I've blindly brought in in the past that had done nothing but being born as a unique being. And I'm not proud of it, thank you very much, I would like to make sure my wife's past isn't my daughter's future. Thank you so much, I will rest as soon as the medic checks out my wife to make sure she'll be okay." he said. "You are dismissed. I do appreciate what your doing for me and my family." He saluted him and waited just in case he had something else he wanted to say.

The officer nodded and left without another word though did snicker slightly at how Angel had been babbling a bit. Kitsune moved some in her sleep and groaned in pain though she didn't seem like she was going to wake up any time soon. She was so exhosted and weak from lack of sleep and being beaten so bad the night before. Koinu looked fine as she slept.... all that had happened to her was that Theodor had picked her up and she freaked out... he hadn't even really laid a hand on her to hurt her... he had just picked her up and she had just about knocked him out and almost killed him herself.

He went back in the tent and held one of Kitsune's hands in both of his. She was so exhausted, he could tell and he was happy to see that at least Koinu was unharmed. He was happy too that kitsune probably just needed rest, hopefully that was all.

Kitsune curled her hand some in Angel's though Koinu woke up a bit. She looked up and to her father and smiled sleepily. She moved some to sit up slightly and reached for him wantint to sit in his lap and curl up... that was Angel could still hold Kitsune's hand and Koinu would be content since she would be in his lap. It seemed that the girl had quickly grown attached to her father and loved him very much... that would be rather shocking though since she had only just met him and she was one.... so it wasn't common that a child her age, with no contact with her father, would know and love them almost as soon as they saw them.... though Koinu was a special child after all and a kitsune... she would have known that he was her father by an instinct that they have.

He moved Koinu into his lap and sat on the bed. He held Kitsune's hand. He smiled back at his daughter and chuckled some at how cute she looked.

"Hi Daddy" Koinu smiled some as she curled up in his lap and leaned against him seeming content right here and happy to be with him and also have her mom as well.... she had known something was missing before though she never new until she met her father and saw how much he loved them both... even though he had never met her before that.

It didn't take long for a medical woman to tap her foot at the door and peak in some then smile slightly at Angel. "You requested me sir?" she asked as she stood straight and saluted him with a bit of a smile and looked at the little girl in his lap and smiled even more.

He saluted her back. "Yes, last night my wife here was beat pretty bad after not sleeping well for at least a year. "Can you please make sure she's okay?" he asked the medical woman. "I would be very appreciative." He looked at Koinu. "Hey sweety. How'd you sleep?" he asked her and smiled, he couldn't love anyone more than his wife and daughter. He saw that the medical woman smiled too. He got up and sat in the chair by the foot of the bed. "We've got to let this lady check on your mom." he said to her as he settled into the chair with Koinu in his lap.

The woman nodded some as she listened to Angel before going over to Kitsune and letting her hand huver a few inches above her body as a light shows from her hand. She did this one more times letting her hand scan over Kitsune's body without touching her before she sighed softly. "Well.... She's got some internal bruising and bleeding... at least one of her ribs are broken... and I think that one of her wrists is sprained.... though that's a very low amount of enderies considering that she hasn't hardly slept in a year and a half and that she was beaten so badly... ow and she might also have chest pains for awhile." the healer sighed off the lest softly though didn't seemed too worried... she seemed confident that Kitsune was really okay.

He sighed as he relaxed a bit. "Thank you. " he said. "Could you mend the mendable injuries?" he asked her. "i do appreciate this, I think with at least a week of rest she'll be fine after that." he looked to her to confirm that.

"Of course" The woman said as she started to heal some of the internal bruising though found that she might not be able to heal the ribs and wasn't sure about the wrist. She tried healing the wrist sand it worked fine though when she moved to the ribs Kitsune started moving and let out a soft cry. She stopped at once and watched Kitsune calm down again. "Okay... now the only real thing that is left is her ribs though as you can see I can't do anything... just don't let her turn over onto her side or stand until I say it's safe for her to... we don't want those ribs causing issues for the rest of her." the woman said softly as she then looked to Angel and Koinu. "Are either of you injured?" she asked as she looked them over and did see a few slight bruises showing on Koinu though those weren't bad... it was from Theodor picking her up so roughly.

"No, maybe minor bruising on Koinu, but she seems fine." he said. "Although there are injuries that you can't fix, only time." He looked over to Kitsune and watched her sleeping. "Thank you." he said. "You may go if you wish, unless you need to make sure that Kitsune's condition stays where it is or gets better, I wouldn't mind the company."

"I could stay if you like though it seems she is rather stable... she just needs allot of sleep is all and to not get moving around." The healer said with a smile and wondered some where Trish was... Angel had brought her along a few times and she had been a little curious as to who this woman was since she had not seen her before... though then she had heard the roomers about how Angel had gotten married and about a week or so later his wife had left him a note and went off on her own... this most have been his wife since she came back and he seems to have been glued to her side.

"Yes, this is my wife." he said. "Trish is with the one she loves back at the cabin." he said guessing luckily at what she was thinking. "I would like the company." he said. "Trish helped me out while my wife was gone, she had unfinished business to take care of and she found she was pregnant half a year later, she's been running since she took care of that."
