"Yeah, lets hipe that we'll have better luck this time." he said remembering. "I can help us, I know the layout of the hold and where Cane's men patrol and when, so I can get us in there." Cali smiled happy to be helpful. "I know you can and will." Angel said. They got to a safe hiding place outside of the hold and watched. Cali told them about the hold and the patrol routes and places that weren't patroled and things like that.

Cane stood his hand raised." You insignificant worm!" he growled then smacked her hard across the face. "I'll be back to kill you later." he said stomping out and the door was shut and locked the guards of the cell staying there.

Trish smiled sitting next to Kitsune. "They'll get Koinu back, there's no need to worry." she said assuringly knowing that this must be hard for her. "I know you'd rather go with them but you are still recovering."

"Yeah" Thomass said softly then listened to Cali and pulled off his blindfold staring at the base his eyes changing a bit and seemed to glow a light red. "Cali you haven't been around us long enough to know this yet, but under no cercomstances should you look at my eyes unless I tell you to." he murmured then after a few minutes sighed and put the blindfold back on then turned to Angel. "There's a magic shield around the entire base, you won't be able to use your abilities and I'll only be able to use a few of mine, Koinu is in a cell on the bottom floor, there's no windows or vents, the only way you can get in is through the door that's heavily guarded." he said softly with a frown since this would be harder then they thought.

Koinu whimpered when she was hit but once Cane had left she started to move and cut the ropes around her hands with her nails then also moved and cut the ones around her ankles. She then moved into a meditation position and took a deep breath before letting it out which let out a wave of energy into the ground that reached all the way to Angel and the others then came back to her and showed her the layout of the base and also how many people were around... she could also tell where her father, uncle, and Cali were. She had learned that from Kitsune and it seemed to come in handy quite often. She then focused on her inner powers and tried to see which she could use to aid her escape.

Angel nodded and thanked Cali for his input, knowing that Thomas's power wasn't perfect. "OKay lets go." he said then looked around for anyway to get past the guards. He saw a small patrol. "Hey take them down and drag them over here." he said going to do the same and with they're help got the patrol into the shadows where they could take their armor and put it on. "Okay lets go."

Thomass easily knocked the two out with just a glance from his ability then pulled on the armor and fallowed the others inside then led them to where Koinu was being kept. Unfortunetly right when they got to the corner Cali's father was going towards the door and was about to go in.

(thought that would make things more interesting XD lets do that real quick with Koinu before they rush in and attack the dude XP )

Cane came back in half an hour later and held his machette. He walked in and saw that she was untied. "I expected nothing less, well this will be more fun that way. " he said walking over the guards looking in at the door ready. "Lets get this party started." he said as he swung his machette at him. Angel heard him perfectly and rushed in swords ready taking the guards out himself, full of fury and rushed at Cane slioding under him and putting himself in between Koinu and Cane, his swords blocking the swing. "No you don't!" he glared and knocked the weapon back getting to his feet. Cane swung another time trying to get Angel. "I knew you would be stupid to come here, and now I shall kill you!" he shouted as he made his move. Angel deflected it. "You made a big mistake taking my daughter, and you won't live to regret it." He said staying firmly planted in between his daughter and Cane.

Koinu blocked with her arms but didn't feel anything as her father came up and blocked with swords. She looked up at him then over seeing her Uncle standing at the door then looked away when he removed his blindfold just waiting for Cane to turn to leave so he could make him pay even more.

(sorry, do you want me to be Cane fighting Angel?)

Angel glared toward thomas. "He's mine put that thing back on." he said. This was his fight, his daughter in trouble and he would finish him. Cane took another swing and Angel deflected it easily and cut his stomach with a slash of each sword. "Koinu are you okay?" he asked not looking away from the fight. Cane tried to take advantage and swing, and he missed Angel having moved to the side so the machette lodged into the floor. He wedged it out and Angel took a swing with his two chopping off his hand holding the weapon as it was dislodged. The weapon and hand fell. "You aren;'t kidding this time, no hesitation you'll kill me won't you?" he asked Angel. "Yes." he said cutting him in half at the waist. He felt the ability to use his magic. "Ah cut the source and the field goes down, it was on your belt that was cut in half. "Just kill me." he said still alive by a magic amulet. "Gladly." he said ripping the amulet off and cutting his head off.

Thomass nodded and slipped his blindfold back on before he soon sensed the magic shield being lifted

"I'm okay Poppa.. just a little banged up is all." Koinu said softly though couldn't watch as Angel dismembered the cruel male, it was a little too much for her. She then looked up when she was sure Cane was dead and slowly stood.

Blood had sprayed on the walls and some onto his face, he sheathed his swords and held his hand out for her. "Lets go home." he said smiling. "I need to wash this blood off of my swords and face. He didn't have time to regret his actions."

Koinu took Angel's hand and didn't really care about the blood that much... she had seen blood many times before... especially when one of her parents came back from a mission. She was so happy that he had came her to get her... if he hadn't she would have certainly died.

Angel smiled and picked her up and threw her up to his back. He and the other guys that had come ran home, wanting to be rid of this place as soon as possible and when they reached home he put Koinu on her feet. "Your mother is waiting in the living room for you." he said smiling. He opened the door and waited for her to go in first.

"Okay." Koinu said softly before carefully walking in still in a bit of pain and that was clear. Kitsune stood as soon as she saw her daughter come in and ran over to her picking her up and taking her to her room. She healed Koinu's stomach as best she could then gave her some medicine and told her she had to stay in her room and rest if she wanted to feel better. "What happened?" Kitsune asked worriedly as she closed the door to her daughters room and looked at the three boys worriedly and curiously.

"I don't know why." Cali started. "But my father had her taken, Angel had been able to stop him before he hit her with a blow that would have killed her, and if it had, it would have been my fault." he said feeling that the blame would be his if his love got hurt. "Not at all, helped me save her." Angel said. "Now get in there with her and keep her company." he encouraged and Cali did so hesitantly and quietly opened and closed her door then sat on the chair by her bed. He held her hand and smiled. "How you feeling?" he asked her.

"Oh honey it's not your fault that's just how things happen with our family, even though we are protected by the army not even my archers can stay on guard all the time. Speaking of which, in a day or two you'll need to pack up your stuff, we just got a letter saying that a new squad of soilders are at the camp and we need to go and train them." Kitsune said softly walking forward and patting Cali's shoulder before watching him go into her daughters room. "I'm glad Koinu has him... he's a good kid." she said looking at Angel happily and lovingly before hugging him and kissing him lovingly on the lips.

Koinu was nearly asleep when she heard her door open and turned to see who it was before feeling Cali's hand and smiled. "Hey" she said softly holding his hand close and placing her cheek on top of it while still having been laying down.

"I didn't wake you did I?" he asked speaking softly. "Go ahead and sleep."

Angel hugged and kissed her back lovingly. "Yeah, too hard on himself, but his father wasn't helping that. I can see a great man in him." he agreed.

"No you didn't wake me up... I wasn't asleep yet anyway." Koinu said softly giving Cali a small smile and squeezed his hand softly and lovingly.

Cali smiled and squeezed her hand lightly and lovingly. "Okay." Cali carefully climbs into bed with her and cuddles her careful not to hurt where she had been hurt. "I'm glad that we got to you in time, but you know what they say when they mess with someones child." he said not mad that his father had died physically, he had died as a father since his mother died.

"Yeah." Koinu smiled softly then cuddled close to Cali and closed her eyes staying close to him seeming really happy. "I love you Cali" she said in a yawn as she fell asleep in his arms not even seeming to realize she just told him that she loved him.

Cali Blushed and smiled contently and fell asleep with her in his arms, feeling safe and loved, and happier than he ever was. He was always being told he was wrong and not good enough. He was happy being able to fall asleep with Koinu in his arms.

(so what should we have happen now?)

(that could work but would we have them caught again or what? and would Cali and Koinu be helping this time or not?)

((Well, Cali's dad's army comes after them and they have a war and they win this time, Cali would help and Koinu will insist but not be allowed to because Angel won't allow it?))
