Cain smiled when he felt her snuggle close to him. He then felt her dragon join them and chuckled slightly. He found himself gently stroking her head as she slept and clung to him. She was been threw so much and it surprised him that she could take it all in. But tomorrow would hold different challenges for her and he knew that he would have to stay close to her and help her threw it. Everything had changed for her and he was her only friend at the moment. Sunil came over and curled up next to his head before Cain fell asleep. He smiled in his sleep and felt nice sleeping with her like this.

Ai slept the hole night away. She woke up early that morning though, just like she always did. It was still dark outside. She held her stomach and looked around. She had to use the bathroom badly and didn't remember if he had told her were one was. She whimpered softly as she thought about if she should wake him up or not. She looked down at Aria as she started to wake up. She blinked a few times and Ai whispered to find the bathroom. Aria flew up in the air looked around and pointed to one of the doors in the room. Ai gently slid off the bed and then walked over to the door. She hesitated the opened. when she saw it was the bathroom she ran inside.

When she was finished she washed her hands and flushed the bowl. It was different. She hesitated then opened the door. Aria was sitting there waiting for her. She hesitated then walked out. She hoped that she hadn't woken up Cain.

Cain was still fast asleep but was starting to wake up. Something didn't feel right and as he opened his eyes he could see what, Ai wasn't asleep next to him. He sat up quickly and looked around the room for her. He smiled when he saw her walking out of the bathroom. "morning." he said to her softly and slowly streached. It was about time to get up anyways, he had work to do but he wondered if Ai would be okay to be by herself.

"how did you sleep?" He asked as he looked at her and smiled. She looked cute with her hair all messy from bed and he slowly got to his feet. Sunil groaned slightly when Cain moved and looked up at Cain, "go back to sleep." he said to Sunil and he rested his head back down and was back to sleep in no time. Cain chuckled and gently patted his dragon gently showing just how much he cared for his dragon.

Ai jumped a little as he spook. She gently picked Aria up into her arms and she noticed that she was falling back to sleep. She gently rocked her as she set her on the bed next to Sunil. Aria snuggled into him and yawned. She fell right back to sleep next to her friend. Ai looked up at him and smiled. "Hai, Oh, I mean yes. I did." she said blushing a little. She whimpered a little when she felt her stomach growl. She couldn't believe she was hungry again. "Why am I hungry. I just ate yesterday. I'm never hungry two days in a row." she said as she held her stomach. She looked up at him worriedly. "Am I sick?" she asked worriedly. Since time had never changed from where she'd come from she was used to eat very little and it lasting a week or two at a time. So she figured now that she was hungry a second day in a row the food she ate she was sick from the food she ate yesterday.

Cain chuckled when he heard her and shook his head, "no, your not sick, your just hungry." he said as he looked at her and smiled, "it is normal to be hungry in the morning, you are normaly suppose to eat three times a day." he said as he looked at her. "you probably didn't get to eat all the time when you where out there but here you can eat as much as you want. We have enough food for everyone." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He then stood up and looked at her, "if you want i could take you down to the mess hall or the kitchen, we can get osme food there." he said as he looked at her and hoped she would come.

Ai hesitated a few seconds before she went over and grabbed her goggles. She fixed up her hair and then slipped them on. She turned and looked back at Cain. "Please..." she said as she walked back over to him. She hated when her stomach growled at her. It hurt a lot. She whimpered as she held onto his sleeve as she moved closer to him.

She jumped when she heard the door open and Ami walked in quietly. She smiled at the two. "I'm glad you two are okay. You didn't go to dinner last night and I was worried that you two were sick." she said as she walked into the room. She didn't worry when she noticed that she was wearing her goggles.

"Food...." she said as she moved over to Ami.

Ami frowned and softly ran her fingers through Ai's hair. "Yes, I have left over from dinner." she told her as she looked over to Cain and nodded as she took Ai's hand and then lead her to the kitchen. She set a few dishes in front of her and left some for Cain too.

Cain followed them out of his room and to the kitchen. He smiled when he saw the food and sat down next to Ai. He then looked at Ami, "thanks for feeding us and we aren't sick, we just kind of fell asleep. It was kind of a big day for her and for me." he said as he looked at her and smiled. Ami was possibly his best firend here, she was alwys nice to him and he liked talking to her a lot. He then heard a little chirp come from the door and saw Sunil come into the kitchen half asleep. He was sniffing around and smelled food, he was hungry.

Ai ate a lot from the plate that she was given then stopped when she heard Sunil at the door. She looked at the food she wanted to eat then at Sunil and smiled as she stood up. She stepped across the cold steal floor and picked him up and nuzzled him softly. She walked back over to her seat and nuzzled him for a little while longer as she separated the meat from the veggies. She put the meat on the floor for him then placed him next to it before she finished the veggies from the plate. She jumped when she heard Ami place a glass and the jug of orange juice onto the table. Ai's eyes twinkled as she reached for the juice. She ignored the cup and just picked up the jug before standing up and walking back to the room.

Aria was whimpering and searching for some warmth to sleep with. She closed the door to the room and slid the goggles off from her face then placed them on the nightstand next to the bed. She placed the jug next to them then got in the bed. Aria, you okay? Or are you just taking advantage of the fact that you've finally found someone from your world that you're able to get energy from? she asked through her thoughts as she gently lifted her up and into her own arms. She held her close as she picked up the jug and drank some from it then poured some into her hands and let Aria drink. I wonder what they forced you to drink she thought to her. Communicated through thought was a lot easier for her.

Ami was surprised when she watched Ai just get up and leave. "Is she okay?" she asked as she looked over at Cain and Sunil. "She's such a strange child but at least she ate. And it looks like a lot. She ate from the plater that was meant to be shared with at least three people. That is one thing we'll have to watch. She could get sick if she eats to much and things her body isn't used to eating." she told him as she picked up the plater and smiled at Cain.

Cain nodded and smiled at Ami, "yeah I think she is okay. She is just getting use to being here, having food that she can just get and having her dragon back." he said as he ate only a little bit and then set the rest down for Sunil. Sunil chirped happily and then started to eat it right away. Cain laughed as he watched his friend eat and then looked at Ami, "but I will tell her to slow down when it comes to eating." he said as he stood up and started to head out of there.

Cain stopped at the door and looked back at Ami, "but could you do one thing for me. Keep a eye on her if I am not around. I dont want anything to happen to her while I am not around." he said as he looked at his friend. He knew that he could trust her when it came to this. He then felt claws and looked at his shoulder. Sunil was there and licked his cheek before settling down.

Cain then headed out of there and towards his room. But as he passed the laundry room he picked up a few pieces of clothing that could fit her better. He then headed out of there and back to his room. He smiled when he saw her and Aria on the bed with her dragon. "hey, I brought you some better clothing if you want to try them on." he said as he looked at her. Sunil chirped a greating at her and smiled at Aria.

Ami nodded. "Of course Cain. I don't know what it is about that girl. But she just feels special in some way. I wonder what we'll learn from her or even about her in the coming days." she said as she bent down and picked up the plate from the floor. It was getting hard since her stomach was starting to get a little big. She was hoping to keep it a secrete for a little while longer. She didn't want anyone else knowing. Not yet anyway.

Ai looked up at the cloths that he had and smiled as she kissed Aria on the head and set her on Cain's shoulder and took the cloths. She looked and felt the pretty fabric and couldn't help but to love it. It was so nice. She set it down on the bed and reached down for the ends of the bottom of the shirt. Aria lifted her wings and covered both the boy's eyes. Ai giggled softly as she slipped from the shirt and then the pants. She slipped into the new cloths and smiled as it complemented her body. It showed her natural curves and it really made her look a little bit better. She smiled as Aria jumped at Sunil and seemed to giggle happily. It was so cute. Ai giggled brokenly as she walked over to Cain. "L-ik-e?" she asked as she twirled a little.

Cain chuckled when Aria overed his eyes and smiled when he was able to see. His eyes landed on Ai right away and couldn't help but smile at her. "you look great in it." he said as he looked at her. He liked hearing her giggle and was glad that after everything she was still able to laugh and smile. It much of been hard on her to come here and just about everything else. He then looked at Sunil and chuckled when he saw him playing with Ai, they seemed happy together.

He then looked at Ai, "so what would you like to do now? if you want I could show you around the rest of the place. I am sure you would like to know exactly where your going." he said as he looked at her. He knew that she would probably like that and if she asked to do anything else he would.

Ai shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't sure what she should do. She watched the two dragons and smiled happily. Her body shivered slightly with the thought of going back out into the light. She really didn't want to have to bother everyone with her problems like this and it hurt. She pulled her knees to her chest and rested her head on them as she wrapped her arms around them. Her eyes grew this sad and distant look as she stared off into space. This was growing hard for her and she wasn't sure it was going to be getting any better at the moment. She was going to have to take this one step at a time and she wasn't sure she was ready for the next step at the moment. She looked at him and just used her mind to talk with him since her throat was hurting to bad to utter a sound. Would it be alright if we just hung out here for a while...I'm a little scared to go any further at the moment...And if the only place we're going is away from my home land then I'm fine where ever we go.

Cain was a little surprised when he heard her in his head but for some odd reason he was fine with it. It was like he had known that she would be able to do that. He then nodded at her and smiled, "yeah we can stay here if you want and I bet you would be scared. I mean all of this is new to you, I know when I first came here I was a little scared myself." he said as he sat down on the bed and smiled at her. He then picked up the one blanket and wrapped it around her gently, "and if you want to ask me any questions while we are here your welcome too." he said as he tryed to make her comfortable. He just felt that she was important and that he should do everything in hs power to make sure she was happy, safe and content.

Her body leaned into the warmth of the blanket as her eyes just looked off into the distance for a while before her eyes moved onto his. She smiled happily as she slowly got out of her blanket and wrapped her arms around him. She was extremely happy to be able to feel warmth against her skin again. She tangled her fingers into his shirt as she relaxed her head on his shoulder and just let her body melt into his. Today seemed like it was going to be good.

A loud medal crash could be heard as an explosion went off in one of the lower decks. The shock wave sent the two flying across the room, Ai's body landed awkwardly in the bathroom. She whimpered as she rubbed the side of her head and sat up. She had a few new bruises from the fact that she bruised to easily. She slowly fixed her cloths as she slowly moved from the corner of the bathroom. Random things were that were place in its appropriate spot were now scattered around the room. The sound of foot steps where heard from every direction as people tried to figure out what was going on. Ai wasn't sure but when she opened the bathroom door she regretted it. A horrible sound and bright red light was blinking on and off. She flinched away and flung her body back and she knocked into a wall. Her knees wiggled before giving out. Her hands were covering her eyes. "CAI-N!" she screamed as she started to move around the room trying not to step on anything. It was hard since everything was spilled about the room. She tripped around the room but didn't stop till she felt hands on her.

Ami had been walking to the room with something else for Ai to wear when everything had happened. She'd ran to them as fast as she could. She couldn't believe how frantic Ai had looked even with her eyes covered. She wrapped her arms around Ai and looked around for Cain. "Cain? Are you okay?" she asked as she wrapped Ai in a blanket and grabbed her goggles. She lifted them off the ground and the glass fell off. Ami frowned and found a blindfold and put it on her. Ami felt Ai's shaking body clinging to her as she heard more foot steps

Cain had been thrown into the corner of the room along with a few other things. He had been hit in the head and was slightly dizzy but when he heard Ai scream for him. He quickly opened his eyes and pulled all the stuff that had been thrown ontop of him. He had a cut on his cheek from a mirror that had been smashed next to him and a few bruises he was fine. But when he saw Ai and Ami he ran over.

"Ai?! are you okay? are you hurt? are you bleeding?" he asked as he placed a hand on her hsoulder and felt her shaking. He then wrapped a arm around her and tryed to get her to stop shaking. When he saw her like this he felt very protective of her and he then looked at Ami. "what happened? what was the explosion?" he asked and had a feeling that something bad was going down. But as he looked at Ami he heard something chirp.

He looked down and saw Sunil with Ai's dragon next to him. Sunil had kept the other dragon safe and chirped happily. He then walked over and rubbed his head against Ai's leg to try and get her to calm down. Everyone was worryed about her now and it showed clearly. Even thought she had only been here for a little while they cared for her now more then ever.

Ai heard Cain moving and he walked over to her. She felt his hand go on her shoulder and she hesitated and felt the dragons at her feet. She was happy that they were all okay. She froze when she smelt blood, something that never truly left her. She flailed around as she touched his chest and up around on his arms and legs searching for the source. He went up his neck softly and touched the cut on his cheek. She whimpered for him softly as she ripped some of her shirt off and put it to the wound. Your not okay, who cares about me. she thought to him as she took off the blind fold not caring about the flashing lights. She felt the pain shooting through her body but she made sure that the cut stopped bleeding before she cut her finger and let her blood mix with his. She felt a warmth go through her finger as she healed his wound.

She jumped when the door to the room broke apart as it was kicked by one of the men who had shot at the ship. He was covered in blood spots and he didn't look happy. He was surrounded by three huge dogs. Aria growled angrily at him as she stood in front of the two. She went to one of the larger forms but couldn't go any longer because of the fact that she wouldn't have fit into the room anymore. Aria growled but the dogs just jumped on Aria's back and started to attack her. "NO-O!" Ai cried as she moved away and ran towards Aria but Ami stopped her. She held Ai close as Aria struggled to get the dogs off. They managed to hurt her left wing before she reverted to her small form and ran to Sunil. She whimpered as she licked at the wound that seemed to have almost damaged her wing to the point she couldn't fly.

Ai cried as she picked up the dragons the threw something large at the man but the dog caught it in his mouth and crunched it to bits and pieces that seemed to also want to get away from him. Ai's eyes were no longer a problem. She was completely used to the pain now and it wasn't bothering her that much. She just couldn't take her eyes off the strange creatures. "Is that the one we're looking for master?" the bigger dog asked as he looked up at the man that still stood in the doorway. She felt chills run up her spin as the man looked at her body.

"Yes...." the man hissed out as he started for them.

Cain growled a almost inhuman like growl when he saw how the man was looking at Ai. Sunil joined him and was perched on cains shoulder. Even though the dragon was in its small form it looked like it could kill just about any guy in that room. Sunil wrapped a tail around Cains neck and Cain stepped infront of Ami and Ai. "stay behind me." he said to them and sounded different.

He then looked at the men and dogs, his eyes flashing to slits like a dragons but only for a second. "you dont get her." he growled softly and he sounded different. If you looked at him you would only see the start of what was going on with Cain. It was what Sunils power was. He could fuse with whoever he chose and that person was always Cain. "now then you either go or you all die." he said simply and his eyes where staying slits.

Sunil had only fused his tail with Cain so far and you couldn't even see it since that part was hiden under his shirt. But if they conpletely fused then they would be in trouble. Cain would have th strengh, the agility, the wings and tail and claws of a dragon. He would be a half dragon person and possibly one of the strongest people here. It was one of the reasons that Cain didn't talk about what Sunils power was. It was a very rare power and if people found out they would try to take Sunil away.

"A half bread...Interesting." he said as the man walked across the room then seemed to disappear then reappear behind him. "This isn't something a young half bread should get in the middle of. Especially since you haven't been taught correctly." he said as he ran a sharp nail softly over the under part of his chin. "Now, if you don't mind, your not a part of this, so back off." he said as he pushed him roughly into the wall hard enough it was bending into the hall. He turned his body and Ai could only cry out softly. Ami sat in front of Ai trying to protect her but the man just pushed her aside and Ami couldn't stop him. "I've been searching for you. You took something that was very important to us and we want it back, with you alive or dead. So where. Is. It." he growled as his body leaned forward but it seemed like his legs staid where they were. He was already fussed with a large snake.

Ai wasn't sure what to do. Her body was shaking so badly that she couldn't control anything. She hated this. Why couldn't she be strong enough to stop this when they attacked her planet. They had let her lived, why? "W-wh-y?" she asked as she fell forward and wrapped her arms around her body. She cried loudly as a low light seemed to fill the room. The man slowly walked away from her like she was acid. Ai's cries continued and the light seemed to take up the ship slowly going through the walls and making the dark men and their beast just evaporate into air. Ai's cries soon quieted and her body just gave out as she passed out. The men, the dog and the ship were all gone.

(Basically they are shadow people and she got her hands on a serum that would have made them real and it spilled all over her and now they're trying to get it back not knowing she is the serum. Just in case you want to have a lil insight)

Cain growled when he was pushed into the wall and had banged his head. His vision had gone blank for a second but when he opened his eyes he saw light coming from her. He could only stare at her and could still feel sunil still fusing with him. When the men where finally gone he was completely in his half form. He had scales all over him, slit eyes, claws, a tail and wings folded onto his back.

Once the glow was gone he walked over to her and gently picked her up. She looked okay but knew he would have to stay closer to her. "Ami are you okay?" he asked in a rough voice as he kept ai close to him. He looked over at his friend and hoped she was okay. She was sort of like a mother to him since he had none of his own. He never met her and he always wondered what she was like.

Ai's body was completely limp into his body. She felt her body being moved, felt a cool hand on her then around her. Murmurs filled the room as other started to come in and check on them all. They all tried to figure out where the closest port is and was glad they had extra material to fix up the holes.

Ami was helped out of a piled of books and was checked over the fussed over for a little. She smacked at the others hands. "I'm fine guys. Just get back to work. We need to find that port soon, I don't think that I have the right supplies to fix up all of you." she said with a frown noticing a lot of them had broken somethings and wounds galore. She hugged Cain. "You try and go back to normal and let me know when Ai wakes up. We need to get some food in her again." she said before she kissed his forehead then started shoving the men out of the room and into her infirmary/bedroom where she could fix them up.

Aria whimpered softly as she moved to Cain's side and nuzzled some of Sunil's scales. She wanted her friend back. Her wing was bothering her a little but it was healing slowly. A lot faster then humans would heal of course.

Cain nodded when he heard ami and watched her go. She really was the best friend a guy could as for. He then turned around and let his tail close the door as he walked towards the bed. He gently layed ai down and then smiled down at aria,"sorry, but it might take me a little while, I am not use to changing." he said and then slowly started to pull himself away from sun. He felt as if he was pulling himself apart, one of the reasons why he hardly changed. Soon sunil was at the floor at Caine feet and both where breathing hard.

It was hard to change back since it felt so right to be in that form. He then smiled at aria, "here go play." he said and sunil walked over to aria andgentlu touched her Bose. He then looked at her wing and chriped alightly. He was worryed that she might not be able to fly and he didn't want that. Dragons had to fly, ut was a aprt of there nature.

Cain then sat down next to ai and gently brushed the hair from her face. "hey I am here, just waiting for you to wake up. Come on ai." he said as he looked at her and said ther things. He wanted to slowly wake her ip. He wasn't going to shake her or anything like that. It would only scare her and he wanted to keep her safe and un afriad. He placed his hand over hers and stayed close to her.

Aria softly licked at him and she chirped softly as she nuzzled him trying to tell him she was okay. She relaxed into his warm body and just curled in a ball where she was. She was a little tired since her body was healing and she was hungry. She tilted her head up into the air and sniffed. The smell of food drifted into the room and she stood up. She slowly walked into the hallway and looked at the spilled food that littered the floor. She smiled happily as she walked over and started to eat the food not caring about the fact that the floor was probably dirty and that it was too.

Ai had a feeling that she was wanted and struggled with herself to open her eyes. She wanted to be with the person that was calling out her name but just wasn't sure how to. She felt as if something was keeping her trapped in herself and wasn't going to let her out. She felt a fingers slid across her face and it made her eyes twitch slightly. She slowly moved as she started to fight what was keeping her asleep. She finally got her eyes opened and she looked up into his worried eyes. "I-I to-otay." she said softly as she lifted her hand and let it fall onto him. She slowly relaxed into him, her body still a little tense from what had happened. She nuzzled into the warmth that his body was giving off as she noticed the lights had finally stopped flashing. She was glad. Wait... she thought then realized that there had been men here just a few minutes ago. Where did they go! Where is Ami?! Is she okay?! she thought to him as she started to panic and she weakly sat up and started to search around staying clear of looking out into the hall from the door that had been removed.

Sunil smirked when he saw Aria go off and followed her. He smiled when he saw food and didn't mind eating a little bit. So eh joined her in eating. It tasted good and he could care less that it was dirty.

Cain wrapped his arms around Ai and was glad that she was up. He had been worryed that she wouldn't wake up and that she would of stayed like that forever. He chuckled when he heard her and gently patted her hand, "dont worry, Ami is okay, He is a touch cookie, I should know. She is actually waiting for you now and I dont know where they went. I blacked out for a second and the next you where glowing. But they are gone and I promise to protect you better." He said as he looked into her eyes and for a second his eyes turned to slits. He then took her hand, "now then why dont we go and see Ami, I am sure she will be happy to find that your awake." he said as he looked at her, his eyes back to normal.

Aria's body froze as her head lifted up from the bread she was munching on. She turned her head to Ai then flew over to her, or tried to anyway. It was hard because of the wound. She sat on Ai's lap and gently licked at her chin then nuzzled her as Ai started to shake her head over and over again.

No no no no no no no.... she repeated over and over and over again. The words just flew through the air as she grabbed the sides of her head and clenched her eyes shut as hard as she could. She really didn't want to leave the safty of the bed. She couldn't. Her body was to weak to leave the bed. She slowly pushed her body away from them and moved into the pillows. She wrapped her arms around Aria's body as she started to cry.

Aria gently licked and nuzzled Ai soothing her. It took a while but soon she was back to sleep. Aria gently wrapped her body around her head and nuzzled her forehead gently. She needs to sleep, to rest off what ever has mad her glow because its still effecting her. Aria spook softly as she pushed some hair out of Ai's sleeping face. She needs to sleep for the rest of the night so why don't you go and see if you can help anyone on the ship she thought to Cain before looking at Sunil with wanting eyes. She didn't want him to leave.

Cain nodded when he heard aria And gently walked over to Ai. He picked up a blanket from the ground and wrapped it around her gently. "thanks for telling me. Later could you maybe explain to me what happened." he said as he started to clean up the room. He picked up the shattered glass of the mirror and the made theroom look okay. All the while sunil sat next to Ai and Aria, protecting them.

Once everything was clean Cain just had to fix up two things, the goggles and the door. He then headed towards the door, "I will be back soon, I will have the door fixed and make sure that she is comfortable." he said and then looked at sunil. "I know your staying. So protect them and call me if something happens." he said and then headed out of the door and down the hall to where Ami was.

When he got to her he smiled, "don't worry, Ai is safe and healthy. What ever she did tired her out and she needs to rest for a while." he said as he looked at his friend. "and how are you?" he asked as he looked at her and hoped that she was okay. Ami was like his mother and he didntwantanything to happen to her.
