Aria nodded at him and smiled at him. She nuzzled her master gently as she relaxed into them both. She was glad that her master was relaxing. She needed it. She waited around and wondered what this was going to be lke. It was so strange. She wondered what had happened to the world that she'd been born into. She sighed softly as she laid her head down on her new friend and just closed her eyes.

Ai moved a little in her sleep. Her dreams were filled with a typical day before the monsters had attacked her world. She woke up in her dream and pulled the blankets off of her as she got up. She took the few steps over the alarm clock that was blearing at her for her to wake up. She smacked the top and it became quiet. She flicked the switch turning it off and then moved away. She sleepily looked around as she walked to the bedroom door and opened it. Her little kitten Mandy walked in the room and sat on her foot as she started to walk out of the room. She walked around Ai as she walked down the hallway and over to her food dish. She poured a cup of cat food in and Mandy started eating as she looked over at her family who was at the table.

They had a bunch of different dishes spread out on the table. She smiled as she walked over and sat at her seat. It was so great to have them there. She started eating some eggs and toast as she talked with them. She shook her head as she as her brother Kail said something really stupid. Her dream ended with the ending with her family.

Cain smiled as he talked to Ami and then finally had to go. He gave her a hug before he left and felt like he was hugging his mother. But she had raised him so in a way she was his mother. He remembered the first day that he came here to live with everyone. They had found him stranded on a small little planet as wild as can be and only a few years old. The only way they even got him onto this place was by putting food at the door and then trapping him inside.

When he had found out that they had trapped him in the room he had went crazed. He rammed himself into the room and had clawed at the walls. When anyone tryed to get close to him eh would growl and try to attack. But when Ami had come over he had started to back away. Something about her wasn't right and he wasn't sure. When she had finally backed him into a corner she had hugged him. He had never gotten a hug before and slowly he had calmed down. From that day on he had stayed with Ami, she was the person who taught him what to eat and what not to eat. She even taught him how to speak. She had been his only friend and family since then and he always would care about her deeply.

Cain smield as he remembered those days of trying to learn everything after only knowing that survival was the only thing. It was one of the reason that the captain sent him out into any planet to get food and explore. He had grown up doing that and it was the one thing he was good at. He finally got to a room where he could get supplies to make another door and headed back towards the room and wondered if Aria was awake.

Sunil smiled at Ai and stayed close to her. He wanted to protect her and Aria as best as he could since they where becoming special to him and Cain. He gently tapped Aria on the cheek and smiled at her. She looked tired and he hoped that she slept for a little while.

Aria sleepily licked at Sunil before she fell asleep. She was glad to have the other dragon there to protect her master while they both slept. It had been a while since she'd actually felt like she could let her guard down while she slept. And she loved the feeling and took advantage of it.

Ai slowly moved in her sleep. She wrapped her body around the two in her sleep. But of course she wasn't able to stay asleep. Her eyes slowly drifted opened as she looked at Cain as he walked in. she blinked a few times as she uncurled her body and rubbed at her eyes. She sat up and then slid her legs off the bed as she reached both her arms out towards him, her eyes closed as she faced the light. "I-I wa-nt h-ug." she said softly as she yawned. She was still a little tired but her body wouldn't sleep any longer. She was only used to two three hours at most. Then she would be exploring and fighting what ever wanted her for dinner.

Sunil smiled as aria slept and licked her head. Hewas happy to protect these people that his partner called friends. He didn't have many friends here so these two where special. They had been special the moment that Cain had brought them onto this ship and they always wound be. Sunil was surprised that ai was up when Cain came Ito he room but smiled when he saw how they where already depending on one another.

Cain smiled when he saw Ai wake up and chuckled a little bit when he heard her. "sure thing." he said as he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her close. She was someone very special to himand he was doing everything he could to make sure that she was happy. He then smiled as he pulled out a pair of new goggles and slipped them over her eyes, "now the light won't hurt." he said to her softly as he kept her close to him. As he held her close he wondered why that they where so close. Was it because they had both lived on planets alone for a long time or something else? He wasn't sure and he could care less.

Ai blinked a few times before a wonderfully happy smile appeared on her lips. She was so happy to be feeling better and like the world was finally better. She stretched a little then kissed him softly and blushed a little. "T-ha-nk y-ou." she said before she stood up and walked towards the hall. She held out her hand. "I-I hun-gry." she said as she turned then remembered the orange juice. She looked around trying to find it. She got on her hands and knees and looked under the bed. She smiled as she reached under and pulled out the jug. The smile faded when she saw that it was empty and a hole was at the bottom. She let it fall into her lap as she looked up at him frowning sadly. "C-a-n I ha-s s-om-e Oran-ge ju-ice." she said as she held up the empty jug with a sad look in her eyes.

Aria snuggled into him softly as she slept. She was happily relaxing into him.

Ami came into the room and smiled as she looked at the two but she bent down and hugged her. "Aww. So cute. We'll get you some more. Wont we Cain." she said as she ran her fingers through her hair. "Oh, we should get you in a bath first. Would you like help?" she asked as she continued to pet her. She didn't seem to understand though. She hadn't heard the word bath before. She'd only heard of getting clean or washing. Everyone on her planet washed in lakes and rivers. Ami seemed to understand and kissed her forehead. "Lets get you washed up." she said as she stood up and helped Ai to her feet. "Cain, why don't you get you two something to eat while I help her wash up." she told him as she lead the way to the bathroom.

Cain could only stand there when he felt her kiss him. It was the first time anyone besides Ami had kissed him. He saw the blush on her cheeks and he htought that she looked like the most beautiful thing ever. But when he heard her and saw her pull the jug out he chuckled a little bit, "of course you can have some, lets get some first." he said and then heard Ami come in.

He then nodded, "of course, we will." he said and watched them go. He then heded into the kitchen and started to make some food. he had learned a few things from Ami and he hoped he had enougth skills to make a decent meal for Ai and Ami. he didn't want to diapoint them. They where his family and he didn't ever want to disapoint them in anyway.

Sunil smiled at them and then layed his hand down and fell asleep close to Aria.

Ai blinked a few times as she watched Ami move around in the bathroom messing with random things and she really didn't understand what was going on so she just sat down on the tolit, with the lid down, wondering what she was doing. She looked down at her lap as her fingers tangled into her shirt. She let her mind go back to the kiss and she felt her cheeks grow warm.

Ami moved the things in the bathroom around, cleaning it up a bit before she moved to the tub. She started to fill it with warm water and put some suds in it. She of course wasn't going to bath Ai, she could do that herself but she would explain everything to her. "This is the bath tub. You take showers and baths in it. Like I'm sure you've done before in your own way on your planet." she said as she then described how it worked and what the bubbles that Ai started to play with were. Ami then explained shampoo and conditioner along with soap but Ai already knew about that one. Ami laughed when Ai just got in with her cloths and started to wash them. "No sweety. Lets get you out of these cloths. They get washed in a machine that is made just for them." she said as she helped her out of her wet cloths and then rung them out in the sink as she watched Ai a little. She wanted to make sure the girl was okay before she went to go and get her some of her old dresses that looked like they would fit her.

Ai smiled happily as she played around in the soapy water and with the bubbles the most. She giggled brokenly as she popped them and put them on her body. She looked at the shampoo and conditioner. She picked up the conditioner then looked at Ami. When she shook her head no she picked up the other one and opened it. She put some in her hair and then massaged it around. She smiled as she slide under the water and then came up. She brushed the water off her face and then smiled at Ami. She was told that Ami would return with some cloths and a towel for her before she left the room. Ai got up and walked out and over to Aria. Aria! Its amazing! Wake up please! I wanna show you! she thought to the sleeping dragon but Aria didn't move. She pouted a little but kissed her forehead. Okay...you may sleep. I'll show you later. she said as she went back to the bathtub. She decided to continue her play.

Cain smiled as he finished up getting the food ready. All the food was layed out over the table and it looked amazing. He was glad that he had learned a few things from Ami. He then headed over to his room and was about to head in when he heard the some splashing. He guessed that Ai was still taking her bath and decided to go and leave her be.

Sunil woke up when he heard AI come back into the room and talk to Aria. He smiled at Ai and licked Aria's head gently and layed his head back down. He would keep her safe and he knew that she needed to sleep.

Ai heard the door open and close and she blinked a few times as her hands fell back into the water. She smiled happily as she looked at her reflection, but it soon faded. She wasn't sure what was wrong but she felt she looked different then all the others that happened to be on this ship. Her hair was damaged, her skin was very pale. Everything to her just seemed, not pretty. She wondered why he'd been so kind to her. Was it because he was the first to find her? Or was it because he wanted something. Ami returned and put the towel down. "Cain is in the kitchen with the food when your ready. Don't forget to get dressed before leaving." she told her as she pat her head then left to go check on some of the injured men that laid in the infirmary. Ai nodded then returned to her thinking.

Her mind wondered for a while till she lifted her hands up and noticed they were getting wrinkled. She poked around till she figured out how to make the water run down the drain then found her way to a towel. She shook her hair off and smiled into the mirror before wrapping the towel around herself and walking out. She saw that Cain wasn't back and decided to go look around for him. She didn't realize that most people weren't so...comfortable about walking around in a towel so she didn't notice the stares and open mouths as she passed them down the hall. She followed her nose into the kitchen and glomped Cain. There you are. She giggled softly into his mind.

Cain chuckled when he heard her in his head and looked at her, "hey, looks like your all clean." he said as he wrapped a arm around her and held her close to him. He then realized she only had a towl on and wondered if he should push her away. People would get the worng idea of them if something happened. But he didn't want to let her go, he liked having her close to him. To him she was beautiful, a wild type of beauty that no girl on this ship had and no one ever would. It was only her and he never wanted to let her go.

"shouldn't you get some clothing on? or did you decide to wear the towl?" he asked as he looked down at her and smiled. As he held her he could see some of the other crew members looking in to get a look at Ai. When he saw this he growled softly and his eyes slitted for a second. When the crew members saw this they ran, they knew better then to get on cains bad side and it seemed that Ai would be his to protect from everythign and everyone.

Towel? Cloths? Oh, Ami did mention something about that she thought to him softly with a little chuckle. She nuzzled into his neck and then the smell of food got to her and she sat down at the table. Cloths later, food now. she thought to him as she picked up something from the table and just started to taste it. It looked a bit different from the food she was used to eating. It looked amazing and tasted even better. She just kept mindlessly eating not really caring about the fact that she was filling up a lot faster then her body wanted to take in food.

Ami walked in and almost screamed at the site of Ai in a towel eating. "Ai! I said to put on the cloths." she said as she scurried over to her and too a hold of her hand away from the last thing on one of the plates. Ai looked hurt as she reached for it as she was dragged out of the room and back into her room. She whimpered softly as Ami helped her get dressed but she was to scared to ask to go back in for more food so she said on the bed as Ami started to brush her hair.

Cain laughed when he saw her eating and only watched her for a little while. She reminded him of how he use to be before Ami taught him what was right to do and what was wrong. But he liked that she was still kind of wild and like dot do as she pleased. But when he saw Ami come in and scream he jumped slightly and frowned when he saw Ai being pulled out of the room. He then looked at the uneaten food and started to put away what wasn't eaten. The only thing he left out was one plate of food stacked with a little bit of every food that he ahd made. He put a wrap around it and labled it as Ai. He then put it away and would give it to her later.

Cain then headed down to there room and chuckled when he saw Ami brushing Ai's hair on the bed. He walked over to Ami and smiled at her, "I think your done with her." he said and then looked down at Ai. He leaned down and whispered to Ai, "I saved some of the food for you and you look beautiful." he then pulled away from her and looked at her in the eyes. She truely did look beautiful, more beautiful then anything else.
