Jake sighed "i actualy w... wish i c...can;t use them again" he said as he looked at the sky "t...they never help... o...only a...annoy" he said as he sighed again

Jill prepared the needle and thread "i feel sorry for your friend... he seems.... im not sure... lost... confused... im sorry... i shouldn't say that"

Nick smiled at jake. "Sorry lad, your just going to need how to control them." He said as he started to stick some of the scratches.

"I feel bad for him too." Aine said. "I shouldnt have gotten mad at him and punched him."

Jake shook his head "l...leave the h...holes in my b...body" he said as he looked at him "i r...refuse to h...have such u...useless powers"

Jill look at her and she felt bad for Aine "its not your fault... you care for your friend and you was angry he almost burst himself" he said as she began to stick the cut on her face up

Aine stood and walked off to cry as she heard Jakes words.

"Useless or not," Nick said calmly. "It dosent matter, you need to be hole inorder to live young child."

Jake sighed a bit "well can't y...you drain my p...powers or something" he asked, he was sick and tierd of inflating and upseting Aine, this was the finnal straw and he wanted the powers to go

Jill followed Aine as she let go of the needle "Aine" Jill quickly walked in front of her, she grabbed her shoulder gently and looked into her eyes "whats wrong? you can tell me, i will understand" she said softly

"Jake, i get more upseat when he gets like this then when he inflates." She said looking away. "I knows he hates his powers but its not like i like mine ither. Hell wne i get a cold i cange into diffrent animals where he just stays normal."

"That i cant do." Nick said as he sticked up an ugly looking gash. "But wht i can do is help you keep it under controle."

Jake nodded at him "i wish to h... hold my body normal... i will a...act normal... i m...must doing it f...for Aine" he said as he ignored the pain and he attempted getting, once he was standing up his legs wobbled and he collapsed again

Jill sighed sadly "its ok... he will feel like that... i know i feel the same way because of my looks" she sighed and hugged Aine gently "it will fade... im sure it will"

Nick caought him before he fell. "Fist off, you need to heal." He said sternly. "If you dont then you will be done. gone. dead." he put jake on the ground. "And dont make me use magic to make you sleep."

Aine blinked as and started to cry, she didnt wat her friend to be upseat with what he is. she just wanted him to be happy. she hugged jill back as she cried.

Jake sighed as he was put on the ground "i guese im weak... just l...like i always am" he said as he twitch with pain

Jill patted her back gently "he just feels insurcure... mabey he feels hes not good enough... try telling him the good points of his power and what he is... try say what good things he can do" she came out the hug and looked in her eyes "all you need to do is compliment him on his powers whenever he is down"

Aine smiled at Jill and tried to think of something. "Well his power is kinda funny and when hes bored he just inflates himself, its kinda funny." she said to her and smiled.

"No you are not week." Nick said as he bange up the wound he just stiched. "You just need to be properly trained. all men are started out week." Nick looked at Jake gash on the head and stiched that up as well. "And they need to think strait and not go into thorn bushes."

Jake flinched again "i was hoping if i...i could prove i c...can take pain p...people would like me more" he said as he looked at Nick "how come i...i such a whimp?"

Jill smiled and listened "thats it... just tell him that, if he knows that you don't hate his power compleately then he will be happy, everyone likes to feel like they ar useful, you are both great people, i like for ou both to be happy and enjoy hanging out with each other not arguing"

"You can prove to people by not being so stuborn." Nick said as he bandage jakes head.

"Okays," Aine said. "Lets head back to camp before it gets dark." Aine said as she sniffed and blinked back her tears.

Jake nodded a bit "ok then... thats what i will do from now on" he said as he closed his eyes and sighed

Jill smiled as he quickly finished stiching up her head "ok the, lets go" she said as she lead Aine back to the camp "were back" she said happily as she looked at Jake "hows he doing"

Aine smiled and ran back to jakes side. "Jakey?" She asked quietly using the annoying nickname she gave him when she wated something.

Nick rolled his eyes and got up and walked over to Jill. "I think his wounds will heal, his mind and spirt will take a while." He said looking at the two.

Jake looked up at her a bit supprised "hello Aine" he sighed a bit "what is it you want this time? please don't tell me its to yell... im sorry"

Jill giggled a bit "yeah, but you have to admit they look cute together"

Aine smiled and bent down and gave her friend a hug. "Dont be sorry Jakey, i should be." She said soflty. "Please forgive me."

Nick smiled at Jill. "That they do." He said.

Jake was a bit confused but he smiled "you didn't do anything wrong" he said as he weakly lifted his arms and hugged her "but im sorry for being a pain, i have made a promise that i wont use my powers anymore"

Aine laughed. "You can used it." SHe said with a smile. "just not when I need you to do something, okay?"

Jake giggled a bit "ok then, i will promise that... but i bet we will always be doing domething" he said and sighed again "but i don't mind"

"not always jake." She said breaking her hug and looked at him. "When im off doing something, as long as you dont go over bord we sould be fine."

Jake looked happier "really? so you don't accualy thing im usless? i thought you would because everyone else does... they say im a usless fatty"

"Excuse me," She said with a smile. "Who was the person beating those jearks up half the time?"

Jake smiled a bit "you was" he chuckled at the memories that he had, he flinched and stopped chuckling as the memories faded and he coughed a bit

Aine frowned. "No you listen to me, im going to go and get food and stuff, stay hear with the new commers and get healthy." She said as she stood. "And please dont do anything stupid? I dont wanna have to search for a new friend."

Nick smiled as he saw Aine get up. He looked at jake as he saw him start coughing. he walked over to jake and looked at him.

Jake stopped coughing and he nodded at Aine "ok then" he whispered as he rested his head back on the ground

Jill looked at the sky "you will have to hurry Aine, nightfall is approching fast, it wont be long now"
