*is singing terribly and loudly*

With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you "Be of good cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer"!!!!!!!
It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!!!!!!
It's the hap-happiest season of aaaaaaaaaaaaaall...

...

....

Oh wait it's still November...

*crawls back into bed* =.=

Why DO people start displaying Christmasy things in November like as soon as the fricking month starts? And yet they only have like a week of Halloween. It's not even Thanksgiving yet...

The Christmas/Holiday spitit is the happiest of them all. Sure you can be happy by dressing up and getting candy but it isn't the same happiness you get when you watch some one open a gift that you put a lot of thought into. Even though my family is really disfunctional we all come together for the holidays and it's a lot of fun. I'd listen to Holiday music all year round. I've been singing it since the beginning of October. I love the holidays. <3 My dad and I put up our Christmas decorations the same day we took the Halloween ones down.

Because the stores know people Early Christmas shop.
One great example Sora's mom told him:
ok, so this is when tickle-me elmo first came out. Sora's mom bought it for him in October for only $15.
When christmas came around, the toy was selling like gold, and when people found out that Sora's mom bought it, they were asking for elmo for like $50 and up.
......*sniff sniff* Sora really wishes he kept that elmo cause he loved him!!!

ah well, anyways, Sora loves early christmas shopping....you get stuff done before the crowds and you relax around the christmas season to enjoy it more! ^^

Christmas really IS the best time of the year even though we don't make a huge deal about it where I am from since there aren't many people who actually celebrate it here. But really, the way they decorate the malls with fake snow and colourful tall trees makes everyone want to smile. The malls always put up their Christmas deco early, way ahead of time because it certainly draws a crowd. I know that there are certain people who go to malls not to shop now but to take pictures with the decorations and displays. LOL!

And the sales that come with Christmas? Unbeatable! Christmas makes you want to buy things that you don't even need! I'm not sure if that's really a good thing but hey, it makes me happy. And it makes me want to buy things for people! So, I guess that should be a good thing. The spirit of giving is in the air! Well, receiving couldn't hurt either.

And the end of the year is the best in my office because that's the time when, no one is around! Wahaha! None of my bosses will be in and most of my colleagues will be clearing their leave for the year leaving some us lucky ones in the office alone. Its peaceful and there isn't much work to be done.

So hurray for Christmas! It should come more than once a year! :P

I have not been too into Christmas for a few years. I even tried to get out of presents last year by making fudge. It turned out grainy and I felt bad. :( Luckily, I have some money this year so I was able to buy presents (already!). I am a minimalist and I hate receiving presents but my family refuses to not give them to me. This year, I am already sad about Christmas because one of the local classic rock radio stations has already been replaced with Christmas music. :gonk:

I love November, but not because of all the Christmas commotion going on but because it's the month of my birthday! My birthday is almost always two days after Thanksgiving, one year it came right on Thanksgiving day.! So what if everyone is fussing about Christmas early, I'm just happy that my birthday will be coming up soon. I buy some presents early for special people in my life, then I just wait until December to get some shopping done for the rest. I'm not much into receiving gifts though. :/ I hate getting presents. :C I just feel happy gifting to my friends and family rather than getting things from them.

Seriously. Seems like everyone is avoiding stuffing themselves. Guess that leaves us people with fast metabolisms to eat all the food. Whatever...Christmas is a great time and New Years is around the corner after. Best time of the year. I still hate shoveling the snow though...

I like all of the "South Park" Christmas songs! "Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo" being my favorite, of course!

I also like the coca-cola cans that have santa claus and the polar bears on them. They just make me happy for some reason.

Pure win!!! Those are really some of the best songs to listen to during Christmas. Its really not my way of mocking the season but how to get a good laugh and happy spirit from the humour! :P

Totally! Plus they have a couple of the Christmas episodes set up to be parodies of the ones we loved as a kid, so there's a giant dose of nostalgia with them. :) Watching these gets this scrooge almost excited about Christmas!

It's probably everyone getting in the Christmas spirit and some people go shopping for Christmas gifts REALLY early. Our mall already has a ton of christmas stuff up in JC Pennies and some other stores. I don't start getting excited til after Thanksgiving.

it bugs me when they do that too.... if it was December it'd be a whole new story, but they keep making Christmas come earlier and earlier every year -___-
i remember when they didn't start playing Christmas music until the day of or the day after thanksgiving. All the Christmas music gives me a headache.
Now Halloween is the best time of the year, cause it doesn't get ruined with music (i can listen to thriller all year long ;D) and free candy while dressing up like a loser when you're"too old"? what can beat that?Christmas is great and all, but its a bit too commercialised and you can't dress up like anything other than santa ,elves all that jawnz, without having a job where you do so or without getting arrested. :P
