I was looking at all the recent posts (spying :XD) and I was so surprised to see the whole page filled up with roleplaying posts! I do not roleplay at all and now I feel left out. It just really does not interest me.

What is a good forum for a non-roleplayer to post a lot in? I feel like I post a lot everywhere and I do not want to get spammy. Maybe I just wish Menewsha was more active in other forums, other than roleplaying.

Should I start a roleplay for people who want to pretend to be Menewshans who do not like to roleplay? :stare:

As a none non-roleplaying menewshan, I prefer the quest forum. *shot* I also like the art shop forum as a few of my friends have shops and not quest threads (or are never in their quest threads), I also happen to have a pixel shop there too so... yeah.

xD I also know the charity forum can get pretty chatty and a few of the menewsha nations threads as well. Wallflowers, the few times that I've noticed, are pretty active during the midnight of my timezone. xD Which is impressive for me cause that's when there's less then 100 active users on mene.

The Quest Forum is my favorite, so far. Lots of cozy fireside chats in there. I love the Contests and Giveaways forum, but I wish it was more active. I won an item there today!!! Thank you, Snowberry! :love:

Yeah. :3 that's what I love about Quest forum. *happy sigh* I should go back and be more active in that place. Homework prevents me. ;P hehe

I hang out in the avatar chat forum a lot. There are some awesome people there and it's active. I post a little bit of everywhere though.

Charities welcome non roleplaying menewshans. In my charity, for a new user to receive a starter donation they must post five times, and it really helps to have seasoned menewshans who are intelligent, kind, and thoughtful to answer questions and prompt getting to know the person a bit better. Five posts can be accomplished in one sitting whenever somebody is online, so I try to fast-track the users into receiving clothing and a gift, along with some advice and/or the start of a friendship or two.

Avatar Chat for the win! Quests, Nations, and General are good places too. :)

I role play, but I spend a lot of my time in the GD, CD, Feed Back and the Information Desk.

When not doing my 'working' I'm often in Avatar Chat - usually in "Project Mene", "User's Pick" and "Admin's Pick" - though I have a few of the "avatar above you" threads subscribed because they can be a great deal of not-actual-rating fun and more like storytelling. :) Many of the contest threads are fun places to lurk/post on occasion too. :)

Every once in awhile I'll hang out in a friend's or friendly's Menewsha Nations, Quest, Charity or Exchange thread, but I mostly lurk because I don't often have something worth saying. xD;

And there are a few video game, book, movie; etc threads in the various media forums I have bookmarked that I'll post in from time to time (whenever people remember they exist and they pop up in my subscription list. xD).

Honestly, I'd try out all the forums and various threads within each. :) A specific thread may not be your perfect fit, but if you let yourself be too shy, you might not find the people who'll become your friends. :3

I'm not a roleplayer by any means, although it would be interesting to try roleplaying one of these days, admittedly. ^^;; Yes, I've noticed that roleplays in general tend to be very lively and active, and are probably some of the most active threads on Mene during its "dead hours".

But since I don't roleplay, I don't get to benefit from their continuous activity. xDD;; Instead, I find myself posting in the Quests and Avatar Chat forums the most. :'> I go into the Exchange a lot as well, most especially now since I've set up a spanking new exchange thread after two years of being a member on Mene. XP I also like browsing through the Community Discussion and Art Shops forums, while quickly peeking at the Site Feedback, Information Desk, Contests, Media, and the other subforums on Mene when I feel like it. ^^

For a non-roleplaying Menewshan though, the Menewsha Nations is a good place to find people to chat with. :'D <3<3 You might have to jump around from thread to thread before you find your niche, but when you do it will be very easy to make new friends and keep up lasting conversations there. :'>

I just kind of venture around the community forums... replying to other posts or posting whatever is on my mind. I like roleplaying I just haven't found any that interest me because even though I like to roleplay sometimes, I'm extremely picky about what I roleplay in for some reason... <_<;;

Cora tends to hang out in Quests, Avatar Chat, Charity, Community, Site Feedback, and Info Desk. However she will often dabble in some of the other forums.

Personally, I like Nations and Quests. :) I like just shooting the breeze with awesome Menewshans, and those are the perfect places to do so in. But I also wander over to the media forums sometimes to geek about things I like. :lol:

I have ventured into a few other forums since posting this. Quests is my favorite, everyone seems pretty happy to have random people drop by and wish them luck! Nations is fun, but most threads are so established there I am having trouble finding my niche. I was expecting the Charity Forum to be the most welcoming, but I posted in at least 10 threads over there and I got ignored in mostly all of them! I did not check out yours, The_Crow: but I should because I like posting in the Fresh Meat Forum for random fun. The Contests/Giveaways Forum was cool but a little dead. It seems like a lot of the charities would almost fit better in there! Anyway, I enjoyed my recent forum hopping.

I know my posts are not fascinating but I like it when I am able to get acknowledged in a thread! I am definitely going to stick to the threads that move slow enough for that.

I dont roleplay... But im not overly active in the forums at all really, I prefer smaller threads so I can keep up with whats going on, the huge threads are far too much for me and I feel alienated and confused, but the smaller ones are prone to slowing to a standstill if only a few people stop talking... Its different for everyone I guess

I don't roleplay. I used to, many years ago when I first started using the internet at lot. But I did it in chat rooms. I never did it in forums. And I made some friends and we would all get together in a chat and roleplay, and I got to where I didn't want to roleplay with strangers, it seemed awkward. And then we all kind of grew out of the roleplaying thing. Well, some of those friends do still do it but they've got other people they roleplay with now. I know one of the friends wanted to start one with me but I just feel so out of practice and I'm bad at writing and it's not like when I was a young teenager and could just act goofy with it... I'd want it to be serious and I am not sure I could pull that off. Either way, I'm definitely not comfortable with roleplaying with people I don't know and I've also never really gotten the hang of doing it on a forum instead of in a chat or IM. It's just a preference I guess. I usually hang out in forums like General Discussion on here.

I roleplay in a couple of RPS but i'm very picky about my RPs so its a not so much thing for me.

I kinda just browse everywhere, I like the debate forums and life issues forums because its nice helping people out and I sort of like debating or stating my opinion on things. I'll go in the avatar chat every now and then but ( not to offend anyone ) I don't the typical fads and I actually like creative ideas rather than piles of clothes on a person that have an interesting pallete color. XD

I used to be a very active role-player on Mene and Gaia, but now I've lost all interest in it since I don't really stick to an rp because it either dies to quickly or all inspiration for the rp has died. I thought about picking it up again, but that would be pointless of me seeing how I'll just leave it. xD

I'm really active in the General Discussion and New Meat section, I lurk other area's and post in other spots but those two is where I'm mostly at~

I Role Play, just... not here. XD I have too many Role Plays going on off the site to start another one so quickly right now.

I mostly jump forums here, I usually stick to General Discussion, Community Discussion, Computers and Gaming, Books, and Anime and Manga.

I actually have found the roleplaying community here incredibly disappointing. The time I spend on mene is used chatting with my friends, making long-winded posts in the long-winded discussion forum (exercising my debate skills, woot) and... uh, yeah, that's it, aside from making money in the games to buy new stuff. I don't buy new stuff very often, though. *poor*

I don't roleplay either; I don't particularly have the brainpower for it. I mostly hang out in the General Discussion forum, Avatar Chat and the "Uni Students" thread on Menewsha Nations. I've been on Quest threads and stuff but I find that I'm not on as much as some others are and the discussions get away from me pretty quickly. I also have a fear of rambling...
