"No, thank you." Axel said and smiled, looking quietly at Roxas, love in his eyes. What was he supposed to do? Take Roxas back and tear him away from his family? No. He couldn't. He would die if he had to hurt him. Or what about Sora, dragging him back to a place where he was Prince and not Son?! He closed his eyes for a moment and he saw Soras eyes hover over the male and glance back at Cloud. The slightest touch of Sora's hand on the males shoulder and Axel understood. Each of them formed a bond. Was there a good way to solve this? Or would it just suck for the rest of their lives?

Roxas settled back against his seat, the smell of vegetables cooking started to fill the kitchen. And despite how badly his mother's cooking turned out, he knew that he missed it. So he was actually looking forward to eating here. He smiled lightly at Axel for a second before his attention drifted over to Sora. He raised an eyebrow lightly, surprised to see that Cloud seemed so at ease with the male touching him. "Um.. Sora... You do know that Cloud has a boyfriend.. Right?" he asked, wanting to make sure that his look-alike wasn't setting himself up for heartbreak.

Sora blinked a moment and looked away, nodding. "Yeah... I know." Sora whispered and stood, moving to go back outside. Axel looked at Roxas and kissed his cheek. "If you just want to stay here, you should have just said it." He said and stood, sticking his hands in his pockets and leaving after Sora. He grabbed the male, the one guy he had never been pleasant too and pulled him into his arms. He held him close as Sora turned and hugged him, sobbing. "I'm just a kid... a-and... all I want..." He shushed the younger boy and held him. He was shorter than Roxas by an inch or so, and he rested his chin on top of his head. "I know..." He whispered and sighed. "I get it."

Roxas frowned lightly. He hadn't meant to upset Sora by the question. He just wanted to make sure he knew. Great... Now Axel thought he didn't want to stick around him. He opened his mouth to explain, but before he could get a word out, both Sora and Axel had already went outside. He sighed lightly and crossed his arms on the table before laying his head down, suddenly very depressed.

Sora sighed and let himself be held. "I like him, Axel. I've never liked ANYone but I like HIM. It's not fair, and Leon isn't all that great to him either!" He said and then rolled his eyes. "I don't know. I just... I want to be the one for him... And I can't be." Axel chuckled as he pulled away from the shorter boy. "I get it. I get wanting something and not being able to have it. "Do you want to stay here? In this small cottage? I mean.... really?"

Sora turned to look at the house and nodded. "I do. I like it here. It feels like home."

Axel nodded and kissed the males forehead. "Okay then... We'll figure something out. But first, we have to brave going back in there."

Just then a man with blond hair came up the path towards the house. Both his shirt and his pants had grease stains on them and it was easy to see that he had been working hard. He glanced at Sora for only a second before his attention drifted to the tall, unknown redhead standing next to the boy. He raised an eyebrow and came to a stop by them before glancing back at Sora for a second. "Who's this Sora? You're boyfriend?" he asked, clearly knowing that Sora wasn't really Roxas.

[[Hope you don't mind, but I'm planning on making Cid the dad. I figure they needed a blond parent to explain for both Roxas and Cloud having blond hair... Well.. Cloud at least. Roxas was technically adopted.]]

Sora smiled and waved. "Nope, your sons!" Sora said and Axel flushed red. "Sora!" He murmured and shook his head. "I'm... not sure... that's what we are... Especially now... I should leave..." He said and scratched the back of his head. Sora took his hand and shook his head. "Stay, eat dinner with us." His eyes were pleading. He meant 'don't leave me alone with him... with Roxas.' Axel looked at Sora then at Cid, still blushing and nodded. "Only if the parents here agree." He murmured.

Cid raised an eyebrow lightly. At first, he thought Sora meant that Cloud had gotten a different boyfriend. It took him a few seconds for him to realize that he meant Roxas. He was glad that his adoptive son had finally found someone to be with, but he didn't like how this someone didn't seem to sure about what they were. "I don't mind if he stays but... Why are you not sure if you're dating my son? You either are or you're not. Which is it?" he demanded.

"It's... not something we've talked about exactly... I'm not sure what we are, and once I leave here, I'm REALLY not going to be sure what we are." He said and smiled at the man. "I... I'm sorry if it's not what you want to hear. I do like him... a lot. I just haven't... asked exactly..." He murmured, wishing he didn't sound like a moron in front of what was apparently Roxas' father.

Cid was silent for a few seconds, listening to Axel ramble. "I see..." he said, trailing off as his attention flickered over to the house. There was the smell of cooking vegetables came out from the open window. "You probably should speak to him about it. If you don't know what you are, then there's no way that Roxas would know what you two are."

"Right... Let's just stab the wound in deeper and tell myself it's just a fantasy." He murmured just to himself. He went back into the house and moved next to Roxas. "Talk after dinner?" He whispered in his ear, moving to sit on the edge of the couch where Sora was sitting. Both looked rather out of place, and even Roxas in Prince's clothes didn't seem to... fit... quite right.

Cid frowned as he followed Axel and Sora into the house. But he smiled lightly and kissed his wife on the cheek as she was finishing up dinner.
Roxas raised an eyebrow when he heard Axel speaking to him and he nodded. He hoped that they weren't going to be having one of those 'break-up' talks. He didn't want to end whatever it was he had with the redhead. He didn't know what it was, but he really did like it.

Axel smiled and talked with the rest of him but he couldn't help being keenly aware of how Clouds eyes followed Sora, if Axel wasn't stepping too far out of bounds with this... he'd say it was the same look Axel held for Roxas. Axel's hand touched Roxas' shoulder, trying to tell him everything was alright. He slid his hand down the males arm and entertwined their fingers and bit his lower lip. He at least wanted their time together, no matter how short it ended up being... to be good.

Roxas was glad that his parents seemed to accept Axel just fine. Of course, he knew they would because he was happy with him. His attention went from something his father was saying about work over to Axel and he smiled lightly when his hand was grabbed. He knew he was more than likely setting himself up for heart-break, but he didn't care at this moment. He wanted to enjoy their time together because he didn't know how much longer they had.
Cloud glanced at his brother for a second before his attention dropped to the intertwined hands. He frowned for a second, his protective brotherly instincts kicking in. But he didn't say anything about it.
"Alright! Dinner's ready!" Misa exclaimed, thoroughly pleases with herself by not burning any of the veggie stir-fry that she made. Well... If it was burned, she didn't see it. She served up the plates and handed some to everybody before finally serving herself last.

"Thank you." Axel and Sora both said at the same time, courteous. They'd been raised that way, with maids they would get condescending looks if they didn't. They both ate it all, Sora fighting through it seeing as he hated vegetables. Axel smiled when it was gone. "It was delicious." Axel spoke softly and licked his lips. "Excuse me, I must go check on the horses..." He said kindly, standing and moving to rinse off his plate and stepping outside where the evening air hit him in a fresh breeze. He walked to the horses and moved to kneel by them, checking their legs. "You're all good, aren't you, you tough steed." He stood up and slid a hand through the horses hair and smiled. "No matter what, you're always strong."

Misa smiled lightly at both Sora and Axel, always happy to have guests over at their tiny house. Her smile grew slightly when she heard Axel say that it actually tasted good. She stood up to take his plate from him, but he had already had it in the sink. She frowned for a second before taking her seat.
Roxas watched Axel leave the house, an uncomfortable feeling growing in his stomach from the talk that he knew they needed to have. He swallowed down his last bite of food, smiled at his mother, put his plate in the sink, and headed out of the house after the redhead. He bit his lip as he approached the male. "... You wanted to talk?"

Axel nodded and moved to sit on the fence. "Yeah..." He said and tilted his head. "First off... What are we? Like..." He scratched his nose. Boys weren't supposed to date boys... but isn't that what they were doing. "Are we boyfriends, just dating, aquaintances that... ya know..." He murmured, and sighed. "And then... I don't think I can take you away from your family. I don't think I can do it."

Roxas was silent for a long moment, thinking. "Well... I thought that we were boyfriends.." he said, dropping his gaze to the ground, kind of embarrassed. Was he really wrong to assume that? He hoped that he wasn't jumping to conclusions. Besides, Axel wasn't taking him away from his family. He had made the choice in the first place to leave.

Axel nodded and looked at him. "I... I left my family and I've always regretted it. My job has very few perks, you being the best, but if I had the option to live in a castle or live alone with my family, then... I know what I'd choose. I can't take you back, away from these people. I can't take Sora away from Cloud, he's never lived like this before and he deserves this treatment. No real responsibility like running a country! So... since I can't take either of you away, I would be killed if I went back without you... I guess... we can 'run away'. I don't want to leave you but I can't take you away from your family..."

Roxas was silent for a long moment, thinking over what Axel said. He knew that the male had a point. It wouldn't be right to force Sora back to the castle. Even after just being there for the short time, he knew that it was tough. He raised an eyebrow lightly though and he lifted his gaze to look at Axel. "You want too.... 'run away' with me?" he asked, not really believing what he was hearing. Though he did like the thought of it.

"Roxas... I wouldn't want to leave you for the world. So 'run away' may mean hide out nearby so you can see your family... Then... Yes." He said and slowly kissed the male and smiled. "Your father scares me.... Just thought I should let you know." He said and touched Roxas' jaw. "So sexy..." He whispered and smiled. "But yes, boyfriends.... that works for me."

Roxas smiled lightly, happy at the thought that Axel cared about him so much that he was willing to leave the castle. He wrapped his arms around the male, and returned the kiss gently. When he pulled away, he rested his head on Axel's shoulder, a small smile still on his face. But when he heard what was said about his father, he couldn't stop a laugh from coming out. "He tends to scare a lot of people." he said. "But he's a good man." The smile on his face grew slightly when it was confirmed that he wasn't wrong about them being boyfriends.

"I'm sure he is, but he's still so scary..." Axel said and laughed, sliding his hand into Roxas'. "You're brother likes Sora, he may have a boyfriend. But he likes Sora. You have to give him that, you have to see it." He said and tilted the males chin up and took a deep breath. "We are going to be in so much trouble. You know we're going to have to find a hiding spot, for me and Sora. It's better you be here, and seen and me and the real prince be gone. Your eyes aren't even the right color and your hair..." He tugged on it and winked. "Needs to change color." He said and smiled. "We can do this."

Roxas smiled lightly. He was already able to tell that Cloud liked Sora and he was glad. Leon wasn't exactly the best person for him, so it was good that he was expressing interest in someone else. He scanned through his brain for a place for Axel and Sora to stay, but was finding it to be rather difficult. His first thought was that they could stay with his friend Hayner. But that was out of the question. His older brother was Seifer and let's just say... it wasn't the best place to be. Olette had plenty of room... So Roxas was sure that they could stay with her. He'd be sure to ask her later whenever he saw her next. When he heard the comment about his hair, a small pout formed on his face for a second, even though he knew Axel was right. "I know.. I can change it after the doctor leaves, if you want." he said. Of course, he would have said now. But he could already see the man coming up the path.

"Sure... But I do intensely like it." He whispered and tugged on the strands and winked. He gave him a quick kiss, spotted the man and jumped off the fence. "I'm going to go tell Sora..." He said and entered the house. He ventured the tiny hallway and spotted Sora looking in the bathroom mirror, the old varnished glass. Sora was tugging at his hair slightly and the redness of crying around his eyes were evident. Axel went into the bathroom and closed the door, pulling the male close. "So.... tell me about him."

"He's nice and kind, a totally different person than when he's with Leon, you've got to believe me that I didn't mean to fall for him. Either of them.... Actually."

Axel looked down at the Prince and chuckled. "We're running away, or well, finding a hiding spot the guards can't find us. They'll meet Roxas and be inquisitive but..." He smiled and nodded. "We're going to stay as close as possible. I'm not taking you away from him... or them..."

Sora hugged the male tightly and said nothing else while the doctor was there.
