Some of the pack members gave nasty looks. One of the pups ran up and said "freak!" Chimera began to cry.

Kiana looks at the pup and then at the rest of the pack, she hands Chimera back to Kane "How dare you talk to my son like that!" she says and her eyes turn into a firey red "You're calling him a freak just because he's part dragon?! Well look at all of us, we're wolves! We're freaks are selves! Hell I can control fire, so are you calling me a freak too?! I took me all my childhood life to control my powers." she says looking at all of them "And all of you know that"

Jake came out and grabbed the pup, giving him a good spanking. "Kiana, I am so sorry"

Kiana wipes Chimera's tears away "Its ok, they must of forgotten that the elder is my grandfather" she says looking towards the pack once more. "Just because I don't live here anymore, doesn't mean you can disrespect me or my family"

Kane let Chimera suck his thumb, as it always calmed Chimera down. "Come on Kiana, let's get out of here" Kane shifted to dragon form.

Kiana takes Chimera "All of you should be ashamed of yourselves" she says climbing onto his back.

Kane took off and flew back to the apartment. After they landed on the roof, he shifted to human form. "The nerve of them"

Kiana rocks Chimera in her arms letting him suck on her thumb "I know"

Kane opend the door to the apartment. " We can't let this get us down. We'll find some playmates for Chimera, I'm sure we will"

Kiana goes into the apartment holding Chimera who was asleep.

Kane sat down and thought for a minute. "Kiana, I have an idea. It's a stretch, but it may be the salution to our problem"

Kiana looks at him, rocking Chimera "And that is?"

"Chimera could play with the dragon hatchlings. He could easily keep up with them, and we wouldn't have to worry about Chimera playing too rough"

Kiana bites her lip looking at Chimera "I'm not sure" she says putting him in his cradle.

"I understand your concern, but think about it. Chimera can fly, and so can they. Chimera's fire wouldn't hurt them. And they wouldn't see him as different"

Kiana looks at Chimera "I guess you're right" she says brushing her hair back.

Kane gently touched Chimera's cheek as he slept. He looked so adorable. "He is our son. He will be fine

Kiana nods "I know"

Kane held Kiana in his arms. "Don't worry, nothing bad will happen. I killed lavos, so the other dragons will have to do what I say" Kane kissed Kiana lovenly.

Kiana kisses him back lovely, putting her hand against his cheek.

"Tomorrow we'll all fly out to the hatching caves. I assure you, everything will work out just fine"

Kiana nods, laying her head against his chest "I trust you"

The next day, Kane flew Kiana and Chimera out to the hatching dens. They were filled with eggs and newborn dragons, as well as female dragons who watched over them.

Kiana would hold Chimera and looks at the eggs and then at their mothers.

Kane landed and shifted to human form. He looked to Chimera. "Are you ready to make friends buddy?" Chimera flapped his wings happily.
