"Only the dee-" Chimera then threw up. Kane was awoken. "What's wrong?"

Kiana moved him over to a bush and patted his back softly "Chimera is throwing up"

"It must be from the deer. He's never eaten raw meat before. Perhaps we should go home"

Kiana nods and puts Chimera on her back "We should"

Kane helped Kiana onto his back, and flew to the city. He landed at the apartment, and shifted back to human form.

Kiana carries Chimera inside and gets him some medicine for his stomach.

Kane took Chimera to his room and put him in his crib. He got a thermomiter and took his tempeture. "Looks like you've got a bit of a fever there, bud"

Kiana stood beside him "Whats his temperature?" she says touching Chimera's cheek.

"100 degrees. Don't worry, it's not that high" Kane rubbed Chimera's head.

Kiana laid her head against his shoulder, looking at Chimera.

Chimera fell asleep, holding his tummy.

Kiana would pet his head softly before walking out of the room.

Kane put his arm around Kiana. "Honey, don't worry. I know a great doctor that we can take Chimera to tomorrow. He has treated me several times"

Kiana looks up at him "Ok sweetie" she says before taking his hand walking to their room.

The next day Kane took Kiana and Chimera to the doctor. "Kiana, this doctor is a human, but you have nothing to worry about. He is sworn to secrecy"

Kiana nods patting Chimera's back as he buries his face into her shoulder.

The three sit in the waiting room until the doctor comes out. "Hello Kane, always good to see you. And this must be the lovely Kiana. And this little guy must be Chimera"

Kiana smiles softly at the doctor and Chimera would slowly peck out from Kiana's shoulder.

The doctor took them all into the exam room. "So I hear that Chimera hasn't been feeling well. What are the symptoms?"

"Well we just came back from a camping trip and he woke me up saying that his stomach was hurting and then he threw up. And when we got home he had a fever" Kiana says rocking Chimera.

"Well, let's have a look" the doctor took hold of Chimera. He inspected his ears, eyes, throat, nose, heartbeat, and breathing. "Now to take your tempature" The doctor grabbed a thermomiter, and Chimera opend his mouth. "Guess again" the doctor said with a light chuckle. He turned Chimera around, and Chimera's eyed went wide. "Cold!"

Kiana held onto Kane's hand as she watches the doctor inspected their son. She would raise a eye brow when the doctor said guess again. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the doctor move the thermometer, she turned and buried her face into Kane's arm "Oh I can't watch..."

"Well, the fever has gone down" The doctor removed the thermomiter from Chimera's bum. "It was just his young body adjusting to eating raw meat. He should be fine. But he does need a booster shot to help his immune system" The doctor took out a needle. "You may want to hold him"

Kiana would look out from Kane's arm and then go over to Chimera. She picks up him humming a lullaby to keep him calm.

"Hey bud, look at mommy and daddy" Kane said. The doctor then quickly stuck Chimera with the needle. "Owie!" Chimera began to tear up a little. Kane rubbed his head. "Shh, it's ok bud. You were very brave"
