Nicolet got out of bed and went to the window. He looked around at the kingdom. "It sure is different around here." he said to himself softly. He grab a robe as he was getting a bit chilly. He couldn't sleep with out some one to snuggle with. He looked at his new pet and softly smiled. He had enjoyed watching the man sleep. He didn't really need sleep it wasn't necessary for his race. It had just became a habit. Since he was a boy he had someone to snuggle with.

Intau quirked the only visible brow on his face and laughed a little behind his hand, motioning the servant to the table. "Come, let's eat." he said, sitting down where he had sat before and finished the food that was sitting there, untouched for there had been quite the excitement during the dinner.

Logan smiled and did as he was told. He sat down beside his master and waited for him to start eatting. He looked up at his master. He then looked back down at his food. Logan was so hungry, he hadn't been feed since before the caught him. He couldn't help himself any longer. He took his fork and began to eat.

Cain smiled at what Sune said, nodding his head yes that he would be staying in the room with them, after all he can't leave with out Sune orhe would get in trouble with the gaurds. He closed the door and sat in front of it as he looked between the three men, he actted as if him sitting in front of the door was the best protection that he could give them. He thought about what Jessi had said to them and the question for a few minutes before he pulled the pad and paper out, writting on it. "No......even if i have they would not have stayed around." he wrote before he turnned it around so that they could see it before he set it down in his lap waittinf for Sune's answer.

Jessi looked at the paper confused. Sheepishly his gaze went down to the floor and a hand scratched the back of his head. "Um... Cain, Sune.... I can't read, I never was taught... My fa-," Jessi stopped he really did hate call that man that but it was the only word he could think of to call him. "My father thought it was a waste of time to teach someone like me anything." Jessi said glaring at the ground. He really hated the man he lived with, and he held mixed emotions about his so called mother too. "But I can read lips!" Jessi added excitedly as he remembered Patrick King teaching him that. King as he called him treated him like a little brother and was one of the few people Jessi had fond memories of.

Clane could feel eyes watching him and opened his eyes. He saw his master looking at him and sighed. "shouldn't you be sleeping that what you wanted right?" Clane watched his master and sat up in bed and just lend agiest the head board of the bed to look at him.

"We don't need sleep." Nicolet said softly as he looked back up at the night sky. "My mother as a child made my sister and I sleep. We always had a slave to snuggle with...." he said. He then looked at his new petband smiled. "So you see I can't sleep unless I'm being snuggled." He said almost in a laughing tone.

"Well I'm not some stuff animal you can do that too. Ah let go for a walk then. I can deal with out sleep for a while longer." Clane got up he was already dressed because he was sleeping in the same clothes. "You didn't get to finsh eatting before that fight. Maybe we should find out more baout what happened."

Nicolet smiled and nodded. "Okay lets go." He said as he put his hand for his pet to take. "At least give me your hand." He said softly. As he began to walk to the door. His hand still out for his pet.

Sune brushed his tunic off out of habit and tilted his head. "Oh?" he asked curiously. He listened to the rest of the story, frowning. "That is no way to treat anyone.. I am sorry for your loss. Hopefully you can find someone else." He looked over as Jessie asked if they had ever loved anyone. Thinking about it, he realized he'd never had anyone like that. Maybe his family, but not really that sort of love. As Cain wrote something down and showed it to them, he wanted to ask why they would leave, but didn't. Noticing Jessi's confusion about the paper, he blinked. '"Oh." That would explain it. He imagined that Jessi's prince wouldn't want him not knowing to read, so there was that taken care of. "Well, you could read his lips, or I can just tell you." he offered, smiling a little.

"Fine I will held our hand." Clane said then took his master hand.

Nicolet softly blushed as he pet took his hand. He lead the man down the elegant hall, that lead to the dining hall. He sat across from the demon prince and his slave. He then began to eat his salad once more. "Pet come sit next to me." he said softly as he let go of the tall mans hand.

Clane sat on the floor on his knees next to Nicolet and smiled. Then looked over at the others. "So what actaully happened after we left?"

Cain had a slight distressed look on his face,he never really opened his mouth unless it was to drink and eat or brush his teeth, other then that it always stayed closed. He never formed a word before, well not that he could remember, he sees everyone do it everyday when they talk to him but he never actually done it himself. He got a slight sad look on his face before he tilted his head down to where no one could see the look on his face. He had wished so many times that could talk like everyone else but he was always told that it was for everyone elses safty that he didn't talk.

He heard what Sune had said, which caused him to look up, his face was blank, wipped clean of that bit of sad emotion that had shown through, he sat as still as a statue, realizing tht he could only hold a conversation if a person that could read was around, thinking for a moment before he bent over the pad once more. "I don't know how to form words since i never spoke since i could remember." he wrote down as he showed it to Sune so that he could see part of the problem that was going on.

Sune studied Cain's expression carefully, almost frowning before he nodded. He would have done something to comfort him, but he was all the way over at the door. "It's okay." he assured the man before looking back at Jessi. "I'll have to talk for him." he said, chuckling a little. "He basically said, or wrote. That he hadn't had a love before, and even if he did, they wouldn't stay." He would have to try and teach him some other form of communication.

Jessi looked to Sune when he said that he would speak for Cain and smiled. He was jealous of how Sune and Cain were already developing such a connection. He on the other hand was having trouble even getting along with his prince. "Why do you think that they wouldn't stay? And actually to be frank if I may if they don't stay they don't love you." Jessi said raising one finger like he was lecturing someone. "Or at least that's what King used to say. He said that love meant you would stay and do anything for someone, and that you were willing to give parts of you that would leave you vulnerable and weak but love would make you strong." Jessi said looking over to the large window. In the glass he could almost picture their faces. "And I'm ranting again. Sorry, I talk a lot." Jessi smiled sticking out his tongue.

Clane looked at the other master and slave in the room. He then rested his head on Nicolet lap. He looked around the room. "Master how can I make you feel better beside that." He was talking about the nuddling and snuggling.

Intau had wanted the man to eat, so he didnt' say anything when he began to. He ate in silence, looking up only when he heard two others come in. He gave them only an acknowladging glance before looking back down. He quickly finished his food, then looked over to Logen(Logan? I can never remember). "I'l getting sleepy. We should go back to the room and think about going to bed. It's late." he explained, standing. He then nodded to the two all ready eating, and walked out, expecting his servant to follow without any questions.

Logan finished his plat and looked at the others. He was about to say something to the other slave, but remember what his master told him. He would obey his master. He nodded when his master said we should go to bed. He stood up and waited for his master to lead the way.

Nicolet smiled at his pet as he ran his hand threw out the mans hair. "Nothing will." he whispered softly as he continued to eat the food on his plate. He didn't much care for the master that sat across the table. He forced a smile on his face as he keep eating. With his free hand he keep a hand in the mans hair.

"Nothing will huh?" Clane sighed and just rested his head on his master lap. "This is afecten as I get." he sighed looking under the table that he could see. He could not seeing what the other were doing but he was comfortble here.

Cain frown for a moment as he pondered what Jessi had asked him, thinking it over before he bend down over the pad once more. "It isn't because they don't love me....it is were i am from and who my family is that makes them leave. You see my family you could say is born into serveitude, no matter which kingdom wants us....we train to be the best at everything, so that we can be what the rulers want us to be." he wrote down on the paper before showing it to them, his face having that same blank look on it as he set the pad down after Sune had read out loud, the prince on the bed was moving some, so that meant he was going to be fine.

Sune read what he said and frowned a little. So that was why Cain seemed so obedient. That would explain many things. It was sad that people were born that way, but there wasn't anything he could do. It was just the way things were. He looked over at Jessi and offered a smile. "He said it has nothing to do with love, it's just who he, and his family is. His family and himself are born into servitude. So, yeah.." he muttered, closing his eyes. Hearing the shifting, his dark eyes turned to the bed almost warily. Attention snapping back he chuckled.

"I believe that love is something hard to come by. But yes, I suppose a person would do anything for the other, no matter what. Unless of course it's the type where you want them to be happy, and if you know that they wouldn't be happy with you, you let them go." he commented, shrugging. "It also depends on the person? I wouldn't know. My parents shelter me, so I have very little chance at it." His parents did want him to marry soon however. It wouldn't matter on the whole love aspect or not. It was all political.

Nicolet smiled. "No my pet. The only way to make me happy will be to snuggle me close." he said. He then got up from the table and took his pet along. "Lets go my pet sleep is awaiting you." he said almost laugh. He was going to make Clane snuggle if it was the last thing he did.
