No blood taking, have to do a health assessment thing for work so I can maintain my $500 credit on my health insurance. One more way my company is being controlling. However, one of the benefits is that I get a health coach for free now from Aetna, so it's not all bad.

Doing just fine. Other then being a bit over weight, which will be worked on here shortly. Karen and I are making a menu and work out plan so we can use each other as motivation for losing weight and eating healthier.

Welcome to the thread, Ravenous. Glad to have you here and chatting with everyone. None of us are terribly shy and we love meeting new people.
My resolution this year is to get pregnant...really want to have a kid. We'll see how it goes.

Karen is my good friend that lives right near me. She and I are dedicated this year to losing some weight and actually working out.

Aww that's awesome you have someone to work with.

Having someone to work out with, plan meals and be a support for each other. There is also the matter of us quitting smoking, we are going to try the electronic cigarette, see if that helps. If it doesn't help, going to just do it cold turkey.

how are the electronic cigs? i don't smoke but i'm curious.

How did he like using it?
I had one before when I quit and it was helpful, then again I got really sick and smoking was given up completely.

He liked it but he has never fully stopped smoking with it.

Going to do my best, quit before and I have plenty of motivation to quit. We're trying for kids, smoking is not conducive to being pregnant or trying to get pregnant.

Does smoking hurt your chances of getting pregnant? Maybe I should start xD

It's not healthy, but I have read where the smoking messes with the mucus around the cervix or something and it causes issues trying to get pregnant.
