I got more than a few ideas for games running through me head. Like Yosuke Hanamura, i'd like to see more psychological horror games. I'm a huge Silent Hill fan. So I like games that get in your mind and play on your fears.

As for remakes, I would love a new installment in the Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross series. I also thought it would be cool to have a remake of Maniac Mansion, but am not sure how something like that would be adapted to today's style of gaming.

Gee, I had a series of my own video game running through my head since I was seven. BEFORE Ps3 was made! Here's the idea (I don't really care if a gaming company see's this, and steals it, because I'd buy the game ANYWAY!):

Its about this girl who's friend vanished, and she spends her time looking for him. But he got kidnapped by this insane scientist who thinks the guy has some special power. But HE doesn't actually have it, SHE does....Blah blah blah blah blah...There's more but I don't want to spend all my time writing about it. But when I was younger I was thinking about how the seasons would change, and that you can change the girl's outfit...And that it'd be in HD...(Even though there wasn't really any HD back then) I also thought about how she could chose from riding either a Bike, Scooter, Rolling blade's, or a Skateboard. LOL

The trashed third entry into the Chrono series. Chrono Trigger and Cross were both masterpieces, I'd love to see a sequel.

More Red Dead Redemption. I want at least 20 or 30 more games in the series.

I always had a floating idea, it isn't brilliant however XD.

It's mainly an online Left 4 Dead-esque game, where a zombie apocalypse happens. You must try and escape the city (which is huge, probably taking at least 2 hours on foot to get across per map)

Every building you can enter, using this to grab food and drink (replenish health) first aid (bad wounds) and possibly ammo.

The map would start with only a few zombies, as you try to escape but due to the size of the map, by the time your at least near the escape point you will be swamped by zombies.

Another way to complete the game is to defeat the cause of the infection, like the boss of the map who has a lair. This grants an automatic win and you move to the next map.

Enemies-wise: There would be different types, regular zombies, large zombies that have a shield like appendage of the arm to block bullets, requiring flanking and teamwork. Dogs mutated into werewolves XD

So yeah, as you can tell I sat on this idea for a while. I think it sucks, but it my brain child XD

Really, I just want some good games for the PSP actually translated into English. There's a bunch in Japan that I've been dying to try but...well...not in English so...yea.

I'm a big fan of RPG's and I love the Final Fantasy series. I just have to agree that I wish they hadn't needed to make a Finfal Fantasy X-2 to draw that one to a close. And maybe better gameplay for XIII. More games like Assassin's Creed wouldn't be bad either, more games based off of history would be nice. I love the Dynasty Warriors series...though the switch off of the female's weapons was rather annoying. Making it more realistic by giving the female's bow and arrows...what about the guy's carrying around giant axes and stuff? Not fair...though I only used the guy characters anyway XD

----------

but aside from that gimme more phantasy star, final fantasy and disgaea games and i'll be a happy s.o.b lol

I wish they would remake both Kouldelka and Shadow Hearts for either the PS2 or PS3, at least redoing the graphics and making it look better during the in game fights as well as giving us more fmv sequences in Shadow Hearts. And at least release the Directors Cut of Shadow Hearts II.

I would love to see the original Final Fantasy 7 redone in the style of Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core that they brought out for PSP (I LOVE Crisis Core!)
I'd also like to see Kingdom Hearts 1 redone in the style of Kingdom Hearts 2. I know they're both relatively recent to be asking for an update, but I have such a hard time with the first one because of the set up of the levels. The 2nd one has amazing graphics and if you get stuck you can go to another world and then go back to where you're stuck later, but the 1st one puts up a brick wall...gotta defeat this level or you're not going anywhere.
It just bothers me.

Megaman Legends 3

No, seriously. Capcom needs to rethink their huge public relations blunder and make it happen.

As for my own ideas, though, I'd like to see a multiplayer Survival Horror game that stays survival horror. The Left4Dead series probably comes the closest to pulling this off, but really all the multiplayer Survival Horror titles seem to break down into an action game. What I would like to see is "true" Survival Horror multiplayer, tense and fearful, working against the environment and using a mix of tactics and problem solving to avoid danger as much as possible on the way to your goal. Anyone remember that movie Stay Alive with the "killer game" plot? The game in that movie would have been an awesome real game.

Yeah, left 4 dead 2 get's that way if you play on the hardest difficulty though...it'll make oyu panic everytime you see more than 5 zombies lol. Believe me...i know...i just don't wanna try that alone again XD.

Starcraft Ghost. They had screens and everything for it...then just *POOF* it's no more. Not even a word other than "No-one has a computer that can handle it....", that was back then(7-ish or more years ago), now, well I think that 99% of computer gamers can EASILY handle what they had made...heck, look at Starcraft 2. There are a few(at least one Ive played) 3rd person shooter maps....and they work!

I love L4D and L4D2 because it always changes, the AI director has things show up at different times, and who you're playing with changes how the game will go as well, but I'd like even more.

Jethren, I believe my idea might help you. I would like to see Left 4 Dead 3, in which there are six to eight characters to choose from (sort of like Team Fortress 2) but there are still only four slots. Depending on who each player chooses determines how the storyline will go because they have different strengths and weaknesses, skills and fears. Say we had all eight characters from both games show up and team together (although that would be impossible if anyone's played "The Passing" :()
  • If we teamed up Zoey, Rochelle, Louis, and Ellis, the route would change because we wouldn't have the guys like Coach or Francis to lift heavy debris out of the way.
  • If we had Coach, Francis, Bill, and Nick, we wouldn't have anyone small enough like Zoey and Rochelle to crawl through this hole in the wall and unlock a door or start a generator to open something for everyone else.
  • If it was Ellis, Coach, Zoey, and Bill, we couldn't get an NPC to help us because we wouldn't have smooth-talking Nick or negotiating Rochelle around to convince them.

I wish there were multiple ways to get to the final chapter. Perhaps like "Heavy Rain" for PS3, all the decisions we made and outcomes we produced changed the story. When we let one of the people die, the person who showed up in a locked closet was another person at random; that's the consequence for dying now. Some people would purposely kill themselves because they had 12 bleeding health left and would return with 50 in the safe room. This way, if they liked playing with a character who was great at sniping, they'd have to keep him alive because he wouldn't come back for the rest of the game. If these guys manage to kill everyone, they would only have those eight characters to cycle through once. It doesn't make sense realistically to see someone die and then see them locked in a closet 30 seconds later.

I kinda like that, DeLish. One of the reasons my friend and I always play on Realism mode is that it makes it more important to stay alive (on realism you only respawn at end of chapter). Personally, though, I'd like to see it even further. Game series like Resident Evil and Silent Hill do a great job with atmosphere...making things feel scary, and not just in the "Oh no! I need a medical kit!" sense, but more in the "Okay, I have no idea what's happening, and I just plain don't feel safe." sense. I'd love to see a co-operative game that could capture that same feeling. It's hard to explain exactly what I mean, but I guess it boils down to survival horror for survival horror fans. Not an action shooter like a lot of the "Let's go kill some zombies!" games put out today (of which even the once-great Resident Evil series is guilty of becoming) but a "Let's try to survive all this horror!" kind of game. It boils down to tone. Most modern games try to make you feel powerful, even invincible. The old classics of survival horror, though, tried to do pretty much the opposite, capturing the feeling of being almost helpless against something terrible, dangerous, and often beyond understanding.

Not really a game idea, but...

I kind of wish Pokemon would stop making games. They make a whole lot of money, yes, but things are starting to get weird. Like the pokemon. Some of them really could be designed better and some are just creepy.

Also, the stories are getting repetitive.

/sigh

I'm not sure I would say to stop making Pokemon games exactly. How about, stop making new Pokemon instead? In a series where you can, pretty much literally, gain power over GOD, there just isn't anything left that will be all that interesting. Instead, I'd like to see the next generation of Pokemon game focus on the story and gameplay. Make the experience deeper, give options, like do you want to be a Trainer, a Ranger, or maybe a Coordinator? Are you goodhearted and friendly, with Pokemon that love you? Or maybe you only care about results, even if you have to mistreat your Pokemon a little to get them. Do you oppose Pokemon criminals, or are you in league with them? Do you journey for self-discovery...or maybe self-aggrandizement?

I would love to see a Pokemon game that left questions like that to the player. Maybe even bring back the Shadow Pokemon, but make it your choice to try to purify them, or use them to your advantage?

What do you think of possibly false or counter-productive items, like an empty med-kit, a faulty pipe-bomb, or pills that as well as giving you temporary health, make you sleepy and slow? Makes you think about what you want to grab and use.

"Safe house, guys!"
"Yay! I'm gonna shoot up in the air to celebrate because I know there's more ammo in the safe room!"
"Uh, guys... there's no ammo. And these guns have no magazines."
"There's only three unused first-aid kits!"
"Oh, gosh, guys... Those pills I took... I'm feeling really queazy now. Gimme a minute. I'm not a Boomer, I promise! I just--[blegh]"

Bethesda x Game Freak. I would love to see a traditional Pokemon game for a different console. Or a decent MMO. Some of those that exist now are dire.
I wouldn't like to see a total halt in DS Pokemon games, but i agree with the point about no more new Pokemon. Instead i'd be in favour of making games longer, with more than just two areas to explore.

I would like to see a few games based on books rather then most from movies. Like (I know its mainstream) I really think a hunger games game would be really good if you could pick your own district and wepons and definatly have it in three d in the area also make it goal related maybe? i don't know but i really think it would make a good game.
I also think they could make more Pokemon games but they really need to make the games more deep and you need to have options like weather you are a breeder, trainer, coordinator and build on it.
Pokemon i think would be pretty cool on PlayStation in stead of hand held consoles
