But doesn't Artie tutor puck? The guy only missed about a month of school too. I reckon the only one who might not graduate would be Brit - Yes dense people graduate all the time... but to quote the show:
Quote:
... A girl who thinks the square root of four is rainbows.
That's slightly beyond dense. I like her, but I don't think she'd pass.
OH MY GOSH. Yes, Kurt baby, you have had a good year. Blaine said the three words! Gosh, I love them. Wish I had a relationship like that.
I loved the Kurt/Rachel duet-- largely because Wicked gets me pretty teary. I also adored the image of the two of them in front of Tiffany's. It worked; they fit there, and it was so much an image of "dreaming kid meets dream." Gorgeous. Hopeful. Sweet. And if we do follow the Glee kids to college, ye Gods I hope those two make it to New York.
I was disappointed that New Directions didn't even make top ten. Pfft.
However, the stage kiss was awkward. I found it awkward. I had to pause, even, because it was so awkward that I had to take a "stupid, stupid, stupidstupid" break.
Also. Jesse. Pfft.
Cheerios: I loved the lingering evidence of the closeness between Brittany, Santana and Quinn. It's nice when a character's past actually stays relevant to who she is, you know? Also, Quinn's anger was given a little humanity. I related to her, and then immediately felt dirty. Meanwhile, Santana's outburst after they lost made me laugh, and I loved it. Brittany looked gorgeous in those white pants and hanging suspenders. As usual, she danced like a demon. Damnit, I'm hoping those two come out next year!!!

W/r/t the song "Friday" by Rebecca Black... I actually heard that song for the first time on Glee, and so was under the impression that it was some kind of irreverent Pop-Counter-Pop number reminiscent of Ke$ha-- you know, so bad it's good?
I saw the original version against my will when babysitting the other day, and it's NOT. Not good. Not even Bad-Good. I'm so embarrassed for the glossymouthed preteen who came up with that travesty. She will look back and cringe at it and laugh at it one day... and I feel empathetic but it makes me cringe, cringecringe. It's the embodiment of all of the mistaken, silly posturing that you want to protect middle school girls from, but you can't, because they'll do it no matter what you say.
We all went through that period, or witnessed it in at least one close friend. Lipgloss, an odd conviction that our social constructs matter, weird daydreaming about social happenings all so awkward. I feel like I've said that word a lot tonight.
Hey guys, Glee made the song look kinda fun, but it's awkward. Watching the video makes me uncomfortable.

I just watched that episode and I lurved it. That was going back to the way Glee used to be - and I flashbacked to season 1 "journey" when ... Oops, that's a spoiler. But you all know what I'm talking about.
SPOILERX
And omgomgomg. Blaine has amazing timing. I was just like *swoon* when he finally said "I love you" and then Sam and Mercedes... and it was just an awesome wrap up.
*Happy Carzee* All is as it should be again.
EDIT: Random trivia. Can you believe that the character for Kurt was only created because Chris Colfer failed to get the part of Artie? Imagine Glee without Kurt. That's the original idea. It just wouldn't have worked!
Carzee-- Seriously??? Kurt is the entire reason I watched glee. I started watching the show because of the "Put a Ring on It" episode. Wouldn't follow it without him.
SPOILERX
Blaine's character is pretty much World's Most Perfect Boyfriend: The Musical Version. I coo'ed.
You know, I still like Quinn, because I feel defensive on her behalf. She could be such a good character! The writers keep giving her all of this awesome character development in one episode, and then seemingly forgetting all about it in the next episode because making her into "That Mean Blonde Bitch" is more convenient than writing a three dimensional character. It's not Quinn! I feel that Quinn, the character, could eventually develop into a really awesome person-- the writers are just getting too lazy to bring her there. :(
I know, I only heard of the show because of that episode!
And I know what you mean with Quinn. I really liked her in season one. She and Mercedes were such good friends too, but as soon as she got her body back, she went back to being mini Sue. Tbh, I want an awesomely manipulative guy on the show. A male version of the character they're giving Quinn at the moment. He'd be awesome, and get with Quinn, and then out manipulate her and take her down a couple of pegs. XD
Haha Carzeebear, bringing down Quinn a bit would be nice.
And I agree with you colorsbold, Quinn could definetely become more then just a shallow girl that moods switch at least 4 times every episode. I like that their starting to develop Mercedes a bit more with her scene at the end of the last episode. (I promise not to give it away). I just hope they start highlighting more characters like that instead of the Quinn/Finn/Rachel love triangle.
It's on now! Well... not here. But on the east coast of the USA it is! I may be able to get it tonight if all goes well. Come on Season 3, you'd better be good!
Alright, that was a bit wierd-- Sam just disappeared and Mercedes and he stopped dating over the summer. What? We do that? And Xixes isn't around anymore? I didn't even learn how to spell her name properly yet...
I guess Glee's never been too great at transitions. How d'you guys like the new Quinn?
I actually like Quinn's new look, but I see bad things in Mercede's future. She's totally going to put that guy ahead of the club at some point. Anyway... I knew that Zizces was leaving, and Sam. Silly internet spoilers. What do you think's going to happen to Santana now that she's been booted?
Mercedes tends to get ahead of herself a lot-- she picks a direction and goes with the most distinct kind of tunnel-vision and ferocity. I think that you're right about the new guy-- she'll make some bad decisions regarding him, likely.
I'm a bit sad she's not dating a cute little blonde boy anymore. Most of the pairings, now, are matched ethnicities/demographics. Grawr.
How'd'you think things will go with Kurt and Blaine now that they're in the same school?
Meanwhile, I think Santana has to find her way back to the Glee club. She'll be angry and do something bad, at first... but then the overwhelming Love of the Glee Family will come to save her after Sue's Inevitable Betrayal. Also: can one have a Santana without her Brit? I think not!
