Well I haven't read the official article in the paper (haven't had time to touch the newspaper) but the word on the street is that if the firework ban in process that removes all sparklers, fountains, morning glories from the store. You can buy firecrackers, but not the novelty ones.

yeah, the fountains were great, could od without someone of the screamers, but the novelty ones were amazing fun, fountain after fountain, 2 hours later, hole burned in pocket literally, but so much fun

These are fountains. They're like little tubes and bright colors shoot out of them.

@hiriyuu yeah can do without the shrieking ones. Sparklers don't ever really burn... *sigh*

Well google only brings up the the city council has passed the banned, but it sounds like we're still waiting on a mayor signature...

This sucks, I thought my mom was joking when she said this was the last year. I mean as a family we don't play much anymore (I'm one of the youngest grandkids, so most of my cousins have lost interest) but it's still fun doing it. ;3;

Exactly. ;3; The fountains don't make that much smoke (in comparison to the morning glories, wouldn't mind a ban on that) sparklers practically make no smoke at all. *sigh*
