if I'm not totally sucked into a story after 20 pages, I give up and don't read the book. there are too many other good books to force myself to read something I don't have to.

D2h, I'm listening to those right now on audio book. It's really good.

There's about 21 or so books I need to read before I actually *get* to Acheron & the Dark Hunters manga. Like I said, I've been reading her MacAllister/Brotherhood of the Sword series.

and i agree... val does grow on ya... i have just loved ash since the first time i read about him... i read sin and kat's book first cause of the title 'devil may cry' i thought it was like the video game or something so i just grabbed it... but oh no, it was not about the video game... it was BETTER!... so from that book on... it's always been achimou love!

Kyrian's book, yeah. Unless you count Julian's book. Considering he isn't a Dark Hunter but he is mentioned a lot...

@ d2, this past summer I read about six of the sookie stackhouse books, haven't read the most recent three though. I enjoyed them though, they were quick easy reads...with a lot of 'intimate' scenes.

When I was younger, I loved reading the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, thought they were amazing. I will definitely read that series again sometime.

technically it was was julian's book (fantasy lover) but yes, the first dark hunter main character was kyrian's!)

I started from the beginning with them. My sister had already collected quite a few of them when I started reading them, so she told me the order...

Crazy - I usually feel that way with books, but with ones that are part of series that I've been reading for a while, I feel like I need to force myself to read them. I'm sure I'll get more interested in it when I get a little further into it. I'm only on about chapter 4, which is actually kind of far into it, but... I don't want to possibly miss out on something big in the series by not reading it, especially since this is one with one of the few remaining dragons.

I used to read alot of romance. But I just got bored with them after a while.

if you think the sookie stackhouse books had a lot of intimate scenes, the dark hunter books have oh so many more! lol
