-gulp- Here "My Dear Aunt Sally" (minus the parenthesis and exponents) is taught around 5th/6th grade, the last year of elementary school (ages 10-12).

Oh, and parenthesis is "tanda kurung", exponential is easier to remember, being directly altered in language to "exponansi".

Yeah, but we don't use it that way, I know the term just not the way of remembering it and once you get into higher maths you don't use half the basics so you just tune it out. XP

When I accept a job, I have to walk into any classroom and know the proper way to teach anything in their cirriculum for the year and answer any of their questions. One time I was answering some fifth grade mathematics homework questions on the whiteboard while thinking to myself how I haven't actually had to do such in over a decade -.-
