It was almost as though the pain was slowly draining out of her head.The essence in the room seemed to disappear as Joseph spoke, anticipating he was deadly.Finally Elly was able to calm herself as her head throbbed.'I don't know..at first and felt like it was at a distance, then when you turned off all the lights I felt an essence.Almost like a familiar..but I don't see why they would be here.'Elly breathed in response.Elly didn't inform Joseph he had to move his hand if he wanted to, so she just enjoyed how nice it felt.Elly focused on how warm his palm was against her scalp and how the pain kept lessening.It was almost like Joseph was her light in the dark.But even she knew Joseph was well aquainted with the darkness, and Elly was well aquainted with the light.

Joseph nodded and then tried to think up what it could have been and then smiled appologetically. "I'm sorry... Usually if my head hurts badly I want no sound and darkness.... I forgot that light it more appealing to you then me." he admitted sheepishly and had the darkness turn the light on, hoping it would help her out. "Better?"

Ellys face was soft to the touch.Her entire body reveled in the light.'Im fine.'She stated warmly, her body still pressed against Josephs but not as intensly as it was before hand.The essence had disappeared and she was surrounded with Josephs scent, his pulse, his perfect voice.It lulled her heart to feel lighter and it made a wave of naturel high was over her.'Just stay with me.'

Joseph smiled repeated that Elly was better and kissed her forehead. "I will be right by your side..." he said softly and then looked into her eyes. "Are you ready for this operation?" he asked softly as he heard with his overly sensitive hearing his friend in the other room moving some equipment around. He was a little worried for Elly, just because of the trauma that could be caused after surgery... Though he trusted his friend's abilities 100%, he was just holing Elly would recover perfectly fine afterwords.

Elly stared up into Josephs warm emerld eyes.Her lips spread into a warm smile.'Ill be fine.Just hold my hand or keep your hand somewhere just incase it comes back.'Elly pleaded softly.Her hands reached up to cup Josephs face.She enjoyed how smooth it felt.But she missed his five o' clock shadow.Personally, Elly just found hot.Snuggled against Joseph and revealing in the light, she felt safe and content for now.Almost invinsible to be percise.'Your the only one keeping me here..'Elly whispered more to herself rather than Joseph.Elly should have died in the lab but somehow she kept holding on, holding on so she could be with Joseph.All she wanted was to please him and have him love her.That was enough for her in this lifetime, nothing nor no one else, not even her goddess could fill that desire.

Joseph nodded and then gently kissed Elly's knuckles. "Yes, I will stay by your side the whole time love... I wouldn't dream of being anywhere else." he said lovingly and sure enough his friend walked back in and smiled at them. " the room is ready and sterl. Whenever you are ready i can take an x-ray and we can get this chip out of you." she said reassuringly and Joseph looked at Elly. "Ready?"

Elly smiled, content that Joseph would stay with her.Glancing up at his friend, Elly smiled a warm smile once more.She was beautiful, Elly wondered if she was even human for a brief moment.Then she glanced back at Joseph.'Of course.'She retroted.Elly held Josephs gaze for as long as she could, before she begun to sit up.Her head felt foggy now.It was so..unusual.Then she heard a knock at the door from downstairs.Intuition said, it was Rai with all of the other kids here to make sure Elly pushes through.A negative thought would have said they have been found.Or something along those lines.Elly took in a deep breath, and remained calm.Ready for this operation reguardless of whatever happens.

The woman nodded and smiled flashing a pearly white set of teeth as she pulled her pure golden blonde hair up into a bun. "Selene, we'll meet you in the room in a second... We need to see who else has come." Joseph said lightly and the wise looking girl nodded. "Take you're time, I'm ready when you are." she said reassuringly with a gently voice and walked out. "She's a mermaid, but only turned into her actual form if she's touched by water." he explained softly and smiled. "Let's see who's here." he said lightly and stood, helping her up lovingly.

'Ease dropper.'Elly muttered playfully as she walked down the stairs with Joseph.She enjoyed how close they were and how they could joke with each other.Elly was the first to the door, and she knew right before she opened it, it was going to be Rai and the other children.Elly made sure she was crushed into Josephs side before the both of them anwsered the door.She didn't want Joseph laying Rai out.Then finally, Elly anwsered.'Hello Rai..you guys.'Elly spoke abit hesitant.'We wanted to watch you get your surgery done and made sure everything went well.'Rai responded automatically.The worry in the kids eyes seemed to flitter all across the group.All Elly could do was glance up at Joseph.

Joseph walked downstairs with Elly, chuckling at her comment before she pressed herself tightly to him. He then knew who was behind the door as she did and shot her a warning look. He would flatten the guy like a pancake if he tried anything. Opening the door he was shocked at how many children were there, wanting to see Elly threw the operation. Knowing that they couldn't actually be on the room he smiled and looked at them all. It was Elly's call on who actually gotto stay in the room, but these little kids couldn't... They didn't want Selene to get distracted and mess up.

It was almost as though Rai could read Elly and Joseph like an open book.'Ill be the only one out of the bunch of us in the operation room..if thats okay with you two.'Rai stated cooly as he looked at Joseph.He knew that Joseph would kick his butt to the left and right if he tried anything.Then again, he really underestimated Rai.Elly bit her lip at Rais response.'I dont mind.'Elly broke in before Angel hugged her and everyone else gave her a quick hug.They all stayed clear of Joseph though, they were afraid of him seeing they're dark light and true intentions.

Joseph felt anger nearly ignite within him seeing and hearing Rai. But he didn't nothing as Elly granted the male permission to stay in the operating room as well. Staying quiet but watchful he observed the children hugging Elly and then looked up the stairs seeing Selene. Giving her a reassuring look she nodded and walked back up the stairs to the operating room. He knew that the children didn't trust him and he didn't blame them. He didn't trust any of them either.

Elly felt Josephs anger.She gave his side a small squeez watching the kids leave, all except for Rai.Elly took a deep breath as she stepped aside allowing Rai to come in.'Lets get this over with..'Elly mumbled impationently.She didnt like the anger that ignited in Joseph but she understood his anger.Elly simply kissed Josephs shoulder to show she was still there and she wished he would calm down.After this Elly vowed to herself that somehow she would get rid of Rai in a peaceful manner.

Joseph looked down at his Elly and feeling he squeeze as they walked into the room he smiled softly. Kissing her head after she kissed his shoulder he then gently lifted her by her waist and set her on the tabel. "I love you..." he breathed pressin his forehead against her's and smiled. "You have me and Hades on your side, you're not going anywhere." he whispered reassuringly and then kissed he one more time before stepping away and letting Selene walk up. "Now lay back and relax, I'm going to take an x-ray." she said reassuringly

Elly enjoyed Josephs soothing words.When it was time for her x-ray, Elly felt disorented.But she did as she was told to do.'I better get cuddle time for this.'Elly thought to herself as she went off into la la land, relaxing and waiting to be put under,

Rai was jealous of Joseph but he didnt let it show.He kept his distance and watched, some what interested.

Joseph watched calmly as Selene located the chip and then put Elly under. Watching in awe he clamped down on his aching jaws as he smelled Elly's pure and amazing blood. Selene soon when to work carefully cutting into Elly to remove the chip. Once it was out she skillfully sewed Elly back together. "Now we wait." she whispered softly and then Joseph nodded and looked at Elly. "You'll pull threw...."

When Elly was put under, she felt herself go off into her own dream world.She knew the surgery had to be going well because there was no darkness, only light.Elly ran around in her pj's until in a flash everything changed.She was back in that white dress in the middle of a field.The sound of wings beated frantically at the air.'Ive been here before?'Elly asked or well, stated.This time something was different.She then looked to the north watching a white bull appear.Her stomach pitched and rolled and before the bull could reach her, her vision blured in it dark white light.With a jerking motion, Elly woke up.A sinful voice breathed 'Death'.Instead of flipping out, she glanced over at Joseph.'So snugglebutt, hows that boul of icecream looking?'Elly asked in a drowsy tone with a grin on her face.

Joseph had just been returning with the ice-cream when he heard Elly utter something. Confused at what she said he shook his head and blushed hearing her nickname for him. "Right here cuddleboobs." he said smartly, grinning knowing that her nickname was just as bad as his. Sitting on the side of the bed he gently helped her sit up and smiled. "You can't move your arm for awail... So I'll help you eat this." he said happily and scooped out a bit of the icecreammcrommthe bowl and held the spoon close to her lips.

Ellys jaw instantly dropped as she bursted into giggles.'Wow!Thats a bad nick name!'Elly couldnt stop giggling after that.She would have rolled on her side but held still.'Snugglebutts coming up with pervie nicknames!'Elly declared as she slowly came out of her giggle fit.'Hey snugglebutt..can I draw a Hitler stash on you?'Elly asked innocently, waiting for him to crame icecream in her mouth to make her be quiet.

"Hey! I thought it was good!" he snapped playfully and then rolling his eyes he shoved the icecream in her mouth. She could be such a pain sometimes that it was amazing. "Jeez..." he murmured and shook his head again and shoved more icecreammin her mouth before she could speak again. He didn't want her causing any more trouble then she already had with all the people there. Shaking his head he smiled and chuckled. "You smart butt..."

Elly swallowed down every bite of icecream.Whenever she tried to make a sassy comment she was greeted with more icecream.'Your a pain in my nookers and crannies'Elly would say in between bites of icecream.'This should be marked down as child abuse!'Elly protested when Joseph put the last bit of icecream in her mouth.When Elly saw Joseph ran out of icecream she stuck her tounge out at him.'Now..about that Hitler stash.'Elly asked in a playful tone with a grin.

Joseph shook his head and did his best not to chuckle as Elly groaned and complained. Rollinhis eyes he shook his head and did his Beattie keep her mouth full of ice-cream. Once it was gone though he wished he had more to keep shoving down her smart mouth. Shaking his head he chuckled and kissed those cold pink lips deeply to make her breathless and then pulled away. "Isn't scruff enough?" he asked lightly and chuckled.

When Joseph kissed her, it sobered her up abit but not enough.'Ofcourse not ya big silly!'Elly retroted with a childish grin.Staring at Joseph Elly made kissy faces at him.'So...hows the wife and kids?'Elly asked lightly as she bashed her eye lashes and pressed herself closer to Joseph.'Your wife wont be very happy that you kissed me.'Elly claimed in a playful tone as she lifted her good hand to braid his hair.'Wheres your tattoos snugglebutt?!'Elly shouted as she begun to panick.If she could have, she would have started flaping her arms.

Joseph shook his head and rolled his eyes hearing Wlly. "Seriously? You know I don't like showing my tattoos to the public...." he whispered and then shook his head. "Those drugs are horrible on you." he said sternly and looked to Selene. "They should ware off sometime soon." she said reassuringly and giggled as she cleaned up. "I hope so..."

Elly stared at Joseph in silence now.And after a few moments, she laid back down on her side and curled up.Blocking out the world she closed her eyes and waited for sleep to tug at her, and when it did she tried to scratch through everything and go back to that dream, or nightmare.[i]Where are you?!Elly demanded in her unconsiouse state of mind.Then everything begun to form around her.Finally, she was back in that feild.When she was the bull, she felt paralyzed.The bull approached her, and as it did Elly felt death in its wake.Now, she knew for a fact when she awoke the drugs would have worn off.Why have you called me here?It questioned.Elly eye'd the bull as it circled her.'I didn't call you.You came to me.'The bull seemed to laugh as amusement flashed through his eyes, and then his tounge flicked out causing her skin to break and blood poor out everywhere.'You called me here, now I want my sacrifice.'And as the bull demanded for Ellys blood, her eyes snapped open and she was very, very aware of the deep cut around her ankle.Elly cursed under her breath.It hurt, but her main concern was how did she beckon or even evoke that creature?Then her eyes started moving rapidly around the room until they setteled on Rai and his sinister grin.'What have you done?!'Elly litterly screamed.She didnt care about her arm or ankle, she launched herself straight out of the bed and at Rai and went for his throat.But in the heart beat of the moment he disappeared.Im going to track you down and kill you so slowly and make you pay for the knowledge of whatever that bull has given you.Elly thought as she slowly made her way back to clinical bed.Now her ankle was gushing, but she couldn't remove the white bull from her mind.
