ok i did it. im posting it now. sorry that took me so long. but i couldnt decide what colour flower i wanted. i went for a lilac sort of look. but i wanted to represent one big flower as well as a bunch of little flowers. i hope i achieved this. really i just think it looks cool. lol

I'm keen to see this! Yeah, I'm obsessed with the sun this winter. I even have a T-shirt with a sun on it "for when it rains" (Everyday!)

aww thats so cute. i dont hate the sun or anything, i just dont particularly like the heat because i cant sleep in it and i get heat stroke easily and its just way too hard on me. in the winter you can curl up infront of a fire, put on blankets and sweaters... but in the summer... you can only get so naked and without a pool in your backyard that you can swim in everyday, its really hard to cool down

I agree with BSW. Winter is far more comfortable. I'm in the middle of summer here and it was 37 degrees today. Nearly DIED in this heat! Bring on the winter again! Hmmm I'm really interpreting this theme differently. Sadly I think it will be discounted cos it is a little abstract. Back to the drawing board!

It never gets to thirty in my town. We have pretty even temperatures all year, so all the sun means is no rain. (And because it's so muggy here, it means that it's actually colder than when it's raining.)

well at least someone agrees with me ;) but abstract interpretation of the themes are alright, just make sure your naked. i cant guarantee that i will get it though.

well i cant stand the humidity either, so i dont think that i could live where you live carzeebear.

I'd rather be cold than hot. But I'd prefer to be comfortable..maybe chilly..over either. Lol. Fall is my favorite season, I've concluded. Winter's too cold, Spring is too stormy, and Summer is too hot. Fall is just right. XD

I was only outside for an hour yesterday...and I STILL got burnt. >.< I also prefer the night to the day, because it's cooler and the damn day star isn't shining in my eyes. XD I'm a basement dweller I guess. /nerd

i like the day more then the night though. it just feel better for some reason. the night always carries a sense of danger with it. of sexual harassment, robbery and other such illegal activities. but i do prefer the cold. for the reasons i state above.

I guess it depends where you live. We have a pretty low crime rate in my area...maybe some unruly kids that do graffetti every now and then but other than that I have a pretty safe neighbourhood.

well i live in a city thats not really a city. its like a very very large village or town. very country feeling but in actuality its a city. now the university in town has about an 80% female attendance and that news is far reaching. because of that, we attract men who would take advantage of such a high ratio of young, vulnerable, nieve women. thus, guelph has a higher ratio of rape per capita then toronto. that being said, other then that, crime here is pretty low. except for landlords abusing tenants. but thats common everywhere i think.

Crazy people.

It's horrible to live in fear. I go for late night walks often. It's fun for me. I guess part of that is the sense of danger (I like horror movies) And I like studding people. I think I'd freak out an attacker because of the paths I walk.

Most rapes happen from people the victim knows. With a prowler, they use a sneak attack. They'll jump out from the back lane or behind a bush. And mostly in night clubs where people have open drinks.

I don't go the same way every night. And I avoid people jumping out at me by directly taking back lanes. which sounds counter productive but it's more psychological. If I ever feel uncomfortable because someone that just got off a bus stop and is taking a short cut is "following me" I'll double back and act like I forgot something "at home." I'll even ask them something as I pass them "have you seen an I pod/black wallet." But that rarely happens.

I've scared a few people though as I came out the back-lane. My sister and her friend were walking home from a party and I got em' good. XD

yeah i dont do that. i dont even leave the house alone except for work. i just cant deal with people. seriously. i had someone jump out of a tree at me and ask me for a smoke and i was just so shocked that he jumped out of a tree thats all i could say. "you jumped out of a tree!" "i know, but do you have a smoke?" "YOU JUMPED OUT OF A TREE! WHAT THE BALLS?" "yeah but..." "a tree! seriously...." and i walked away. it was a monday night too. just bizarre. i know that every girl in town deals with being approached and even touched. but i just cant handle it. i feel so violated, so used, so purposely ruined. like a piece of meat really. and im not a piece of meat. im a person and i should be treated as such. even if your drunk. im sorry but its a very sensitive topic for me. i have been harassed since i was a child and i dont like it at all. it took me two years with my current boyfriend to feel like i was more then just a piece of meat, and i dont want to loose that because some jerk thinks my ass is just asking for a spanking even when its not. it doesnt matter what im wearing or where i am. But crowds plus nighttime = not so good for me so for the most part i just avoid crowds and stay indoors unless i have a chaperon.
