Okay so one of my absolute fav games is the sims. When I saw that it'soming to console omg I almost lost it. But then my bubble had to burst because it's only for ps3 and the nintendos. So i was forced to get it for the nintendo ds. I mean yea it's still awesome, but you get a far better experince on the ps2.

because EA games chose not to use Playstations older consoles?

I have a Wii as well as a PS2 so I too would've been happy with it coming to PS2 but meh, I can play it on Wii or my brothers mac.

PS 2 seems to be dying TT-TT
So they don't make as many games for it anymore.
Soon it will be nothing but a distant memory just like the PS 1....

Unfortunately, that's just how technology works. :( Over time, outdated technology fades out of the picture and more intricate and, well, better technology takes its place. I remember getting my first Nintendo DS and I almost cried when I found out that it couldn't play Gameboy Color games. Hopefully Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo will be smart and give the newer consoles the ability to play all the older games.

But I think that they've stopped producing games for the PS2. :( It's incredibly obsolete (but still fun to play games on).

The last game to be released for it was Sakura Wars, and there are no plans to release any games on the console ever again. Sony thinks the PS3 should take over. And while I agree is IS better in data use on disks, graphics and all that great stuff... the PS2 was just more playable somehow.

Maybe because IT played PS1 games and the PS3 doesn't even play PS2 games anymore?

PS2 is pretty much dead now. time to upgrade.

I know the ps2 is dying but i still have alot of great games for it and i still play them often. I had the same problem. i was forced to get the sims 3 for the ds. But its still fun but i know that on ps3 it has to be waybetter, so thats what i asked for for my birthday. and oh my goat i hope i get it. (I say goat because sometimes the other word offends people. But anyway yea i love the sims and i agree that it should come for the ps2. And also when it frist came out i couldnt evn get it for the computer because my computer doesnt have a disc drive. Yea go figure. Its a laptop. |:
