XD I am in college and it's winter break. So... guess that's how it is.

shoot, Mondays at my son's school are always late arrival, so he has a longer day that day and he went and did pretty good. Tuesday was a normal day and he went and did awesome. Wednesday he decided to have a fit and didn't go to school that day (which his teacher really appreciates. I mean, she feels horrible that I have to deal with him like that all day, but relieved that she won't have to struggle with him). Thursday he went to school but I had to pick him up early because of his refusal to do his work and how the "power struggle" between him and his teacher was getting to the point where the other kids were starting to get riled up too. then today there was no school because of ice on the road. and each day, I SWEAR to God I have given him his medicine! not so great for the first day back to school after 2 weeks of winter vacation.

and then on top of that I started to get sick Tuesday. also on Tuesday (mind you we have been in the lower single digit temperatures here all week) we went all day with no front door because they were replacing it and for some reason that took about 5 hours. then Wednesday our door was open half of the day because they were replacing our toilet and shower head for more "water conservative" ones because water, sewer, and garbage is all included in our rent. then yesterday we had the door open for an hour or so while they came and changed out some things on the water pipes that I don't understand. then ALL DAY today we had our door open while they painted our door.

meanwhile I have been battling all week with my insurance company because they didn't think I qualified anymore. once I got them to realize that, YEAH I do!. then it took forever to get them to finally get it in the computer system so I could get my meds today and the insurance would pay for them. so I have been without my meds for a week! and then, I had to wait all freaking day until the door painters were done so I could leave and get my meds without leaving my front door hanging open to all the world with nobody in there. *takes a deep breath*

and on top of that I haven't been able to get my car to start for about a week and it is almost out of gas! so once I DO get a jump start on the car I have to hurry and get gas in it hoping that after it is filled up it will start again. then I have to go to Wal-mart to pay my phone bill before they turn my phone off, exchange my panties for a size that actually fits, and buy cat food before my cat decides that my son and I would make rather tasty meals ...

I'm a tad stressed ...

I hate dealing with insurance companies. They LOVE to give you the Run-Around.
It sucks that you're sick. But at least you have water efficient appliances?

I go back to school on Monday. And I realised my classes all are at 2, except my Friday class. Which is good, because one of my classes is at a different campus and I may have to take a bus. Ugh.

he has ADHD and Asperger's ... it's a kind of autism.

when I was in college my classes were pretty spaced out time wise, but my earliest class was at 10 I think ...

One year I had to wake up at 5:30 to take a 6 o'clock bus just to get to an 8 o'clock class on time. =w=' Public Transit and all...

...whoops. I need to eat. o.o' I haven't really had a real meal all day. I really have been distracted with art...

my brother called me last night to ask how to make rice. he wanted to make chicken teriyaki ... he's 38 years old and still doesn't know how to make rice ...

Man, I feel like a butthead because I'm cracking down on the spammy posts in my game thread, but I really don't want my thread moved...so what can I do? People obviously aren't reading my rules or listening to my polite suggestions. :(

well, I personally suggest you keep doing what you are doing. and maybe making a reminder post each time you have to delete spammy posts?

I can't delete posts, I have to report them and the mods have to delete them or whatever.
But it makes me feel bad, because sometimes the mods go back to me and say it's not spam, but then there's a mod who I think runs the forum, that wants to crack down on the spam, but not much is really being done, so?
I'm just confused. I don't want to piss any mods off cos of the reports, but I also want to protect my hard work.

well, Ameika, that has to be cuter than my ex-husband who used to mutter in his sleep, but sometimes you could understand what he said. my favorite was he suddenly shouted, "THAT'S what I told her!" and another time he burst out with "AARRRRRRRR!" he never lived THAT one down! :rofl:

well, then you could just post in very large red text that they need to knock it off each time you come back and find it.

I will, I'm going to give it a few days, and politely ask people to fix their posts if they spam.
and then I'm going to crack down really hard on it next week, after they've had a week to adjust, I think that's fair.

that sounds plenty fair to me! you could also go and quote the first post that has the rules in it too and then put the post about stopping it. :nods: I've seen some folks do that.
