It's on poetry. I have to pick a poet and red 5 poems by them and observe certain characteristics of their style and then, using one of the poems as reference, write a paper on the poet's style.

I'm not sure who to write on. We can't do a poet we've discussed in class...which are all the good ones. Lol. I'll just have to do my research, I guess.

@neller: thank you. but that sounds really hard. then again... i am way more into the sciences then i am into the languages. so any essay on languages would seem difficult to me

I found a poet I like...and she has a very interesting style. Her name is Maxine Kumins. :3

cool. my favourite writer is neil gaiman. but he doesnt do too much poetry. i think i have read three poems by him. one of which was extremely awesome. one that was meh and one that was very interesting to read but didnt make for a good peom. lol.

Neil Gaiman is pretty good. Have you read Good Omens by him and Terry Pratchett?

yes, and just about everything else by him i can find. seriously. i love neil gaimen. i have read the sandman series twice. amaerican gods and good omens twice. stardust, m is for magic, fragile things, coraline, anasi boys, neverwhere and i am currently reading a small graphic novel he did. do you have any other suggestions by him?

I haven't read much by him actually. I only read Good Omens because of Terry Pratchett.

Yeah these ones are a lot of fun to work with. The sapphire just made me go "whaa-" at first.. but I think I worked it in ok in the end.

i think its for people who donated to mene. Carzeebear you dont have one, have you contributed to mene directly? because if not, i think thats what it is. that or it means you have mennies to spend.

and thank you. that avatar was so much fun to make. the colours work so well together. although it was hard for me to use foxxy instead of beach. i almost always use beach as my orange of choice, not foxxy. so it was challenging. but fun.
