Alfie welcomed the extra time to rest eagerly. He needed it...desperately. He did not feel like waking up. Not in the least. So, that hour and a half passed rather quickly, seeing as he drifted off to sleep in Gian's arms.

Shadow was still out like a light. He didn't even respond when a knock finally sounded at his door. He was too deeply asleep...

Léan jumped when the knock sounded at the door, bristling a little. He hadn't been expecting it, so...he was startled. When Kratos finally stirred and woke up, he noticed the slight color to the other man's cheeks. Was he embarrassed to find them so close together? Léan had certainly been. This didn't seem to dissuade him, seeing as he leaned forward and rested his head comfortably against his chest again. "Good morning."

Kratos was stunned when Léan had rested that head of his against his chest. He'll be damned. This was a dream, wasn't it? If it wasn't, it's a dream come true. "I... ah. Yeah." He lifted his head to Hebs opening the door and he raised his eyebrows a little. "I'll eat later." The male nodded towards the snake man. Hebs only smiled. "Just pop it in the microwave then if any of you guys want to eat."

Hebs knew he couldn't force to wake 'em all up so he'd decided to just have the breakfast be brought to their rooms. Not that he minded. He supposed he'll just hang out by the beach and watch the kids play in the sand and in the water.

If he could, too, maybe he could play with them if he didn't scare them out.

Léan was starting to grow hungry...but he didn't want to eat just yet. He was far too comfortable. He settled back down to rest, his eyes closing. And, out of habit, he began to hum. Even the humming of a siren was somewhat hypnotic. It didn't reach far out and lure people in like his singing often did, though.

After a few more minutes, Shadow finally forced himself to get out of bed. He was starving and really wanted to eat. He was opening the door just as Hebs had finished up with Léan and Kratos. His hair was all ruffled up and he looked a mess. "...Mm...good morning..." His voice was still riddled up with sleep.

Kratos heard that humming and his lips tugged up into a small smile. Half of him was hypnotized but the other half relished in on the beauty of Léan's voice. His hand had moved up and down the other's bare back, hoping to soothe him as he let his head fall back down onto the pillow with his eyes sliding shut. IfLéan continued singing like that, he may likely fall back asleep.

Hebs turned to look towards Shadow's door in surprise. He was just about to head back to his room to change into his swim wear. "Morning," he said, an amused smile touching his lips at the other's ruffled hair. "I'll bet the massage helped you sleep well." Chuckling, he stopped and turned halfway around.

"You want to eat breakfast? The other four might eat later yet."

Léan's humming eventually died down into what sounded like very soft, barely audible purring. The sound was hesitant at first, but it finally managed to make its way out of his throat. He appeared to like being petted like that, even though he would never, ever admit it out loud...

Shadow rubbed at his eyes, grunting slightly. "...My stomach is responsible for rousing me out of bed, so...I suppose it wouldn't be a bad idea to eat now..." he muttered, ruefully, as he hobbled farther out into the hallway. He was not awake yet, that was for sure...his usually graceful self was drowsy, uncoordinated. His eyes weren't even open all the way.

Apparently, Léan being too near him prevented him from faling asleep. It didn't help the fact either, that he'd heard him purring like that. It was just too... adorable. His fingers continued to play with the other's hair and he smiled slightly. Kratos was going soft and that was bad.

Hebs chuckled as he came over to Shadow's side and put a hand on the other's small back. Leading him to the table and making sure he doesn't fall along the way, he pulled out a seat for Shadow and went to get the food from the kitchen. He'd heated it up for the both of them. He can't exactly have Shadow eating alone now even though he was in his swim trunks.

Putting Shadow's plate in front of him and taking the seat across him, he seated himself, too, and started eating. "It's pretty rare to see you like this. Did that massage really help you sleep well?"

Léan's tail flicked back and forth absently for a moment, and then he settled down again. It was almost like he was pondering something privately. ...If Kratos ended up going on that trip, there was a chance, albeit a slim one, that he could cajole the merman into going with them. He hated traveling and hated being cramped up in small places--which was going to happen if they took an airplane there--so if he ended up going, he was going to need constant attention.

Shadow sat down a bit unsteadily in the chair, but he seemed to wake up a little more when Hebs returned with food. He immediately took it and, after fumbling for a moment with his silverware, began to eat quickly. Only when he swallowed did he dare to speak. "...I suppose it did..."

Kratos doubted he wouldn't be joining that trip if the trip ever does get finalized. He, after all, had the power to rise the dead and surely, that was what those two - namely Alfie and Gian - were wanting. But, he didn't know anything about it just yet so he was here showering Léan with attention with his eyes still slid shut. It just felt right to have the merman so close to him and honestly speaking, he wouldn't mind joining him in his tank should they travel.

Just as long as Léan doesn't bite or make him lose what air his half human part needed.

Hebs didn't know why but he found himself laughing at Shadow's reply. "That's good then," he said as he downed the food with water and let out a short, "Ah," before getting up and returning with a glass of water for Shadow.

Léan made a soft sighing noise before he finally sat up a little bit, running a hand through his hair. He was relaxed, but he couldn't get to sleep. He was a bit antsy knowing the ocean was just outside. He had the urge to go swimming...but he hadn't acted on that urge just yet. He shifted slightly, glancing down at Kratos curiously. "...Do you want to go swimming with me in the ocean today? I feel the need to swim..."

Shadow downed the water vigorously. When he finished, he set the glass down and yawned, softly. "That's better..." He didn't look like he was up for anything too rigorous today. Maybe he needed caffeine in his system? He'd never been a big coffee drinker...energy drinks were another story. The naga and merman adored energy drinks, and Shadow was neutral towards them.

Kratos only opened his eyes when the merman had shifted to sit up a bit. It had him propping himself up on his elbow and looking up at the other. "Yeah," he started with a nod, "I don't mind." Laying back down on the bed for a few seconds on his back, he let out a deep sigh and shut his eyes momentarily.

It didn't take long for the man to get up to his feet, stretch out to crack a few bones and then went to change into his swim trunks again before lifting Léan out of the bed to hold him close. The male headed out of the door, passed by Hebs and Shadow and then went out through the front doors. It was still early in the morning so surely, there won't be anyone by the ocean just yet. Once he had reached the waters, he only set Léan down once the water was chest level. The water was cold and it had Kratos' skin crawling up.

Hebs finished his meal just a few minutes after Shadow had and he leaned back in his seat as he downed his water. "They went swimming?" he asked Shadow as he got up from his seat to look out the window. Sure enough, Kratos was there with Léan. "And, do you need anything else?"

Léan looked excited when Kratos stated that he didn't mind--his tail wagged back and forth while the other male got ready and he didn't protest when he was somewhat unexpectedly scooped up off of the bed. He curled his tail around Kratos and rested comfortably in his arms. Once they stepped outside, he took note that the air was nice and cool, perfect for his species. The water was chilly--another good thing. He was used to cold water.

Once Kratos released him, the merman submerged himself in the water, doing a few tight back-flips before he surfaced once again. He looked so much more comfortable and natural in the water.

Seeing this from the window, once Shadow stood up, he was suddenly reminded of something he had in his Austrian villa...something he had, after extensive consensual study of Léan's species, created for himself to use on occasion. Based on the circumstances, he had a feeling Kratos would put it to better use.

"...Do we have any energy drinks left?" he asked, finally. "I'll go swimming with you, but...I need something to wake me up..."

Léan was rather cute, Kratos thought as he smiled slightly in amusement when he'd seen him do those few tight back-flips. He did look more comfortable and natural in the water and Kratos looked pleased. Setting his hand on the merman's hip, he gave it a little pat before he'd dove into the water and started swimming - gliding under the water.

Hebs blinked again. "I didn't say I wanted to go swimming," he told him, "Though... the cold sea water sounds good." Nodding once, the snake teen went back to the kitchen to get a small bottle of energy drink. "I've packed up a lot for Léan and Alfie." The white-haired teen handed it to him and smiled a little.

"It'd be good for you if you went back to sleep, though."

Léan, not expecting the sudden pat to his hip, flushed a light shade of pink. He absolutely hated blushing, but he couldn't control it next time. He soon followed Kratos under the water. The water was nice and clear today, so Léan really wanted to go sightseeing underwater, but...Kratos couldn't breathe underwater for very extended periods of time, he knew. Longer than the average man, but not as long as a merperson. So, he was settling for just swimming around...

"You're in your swimming trunks," Shadow pointed out idly, arching an eyebrow. He took the offered energy drink and popped it open, sipping at it happily. The effects were almost instant--he looked more lively and awake.

Hebs let out a short, "Oh," when he'd realized what the other had idly pointed out. He blushed a little in embarrassment and brought up a hand to rub the side of his neck. "Yeah." Clearing his throat, he went off to clean the table and put away the dishes to hopefully hide the embarrassment he was currently feeling.

Kratos, indeed, couldn't breathe underwater for a long time but he could, at least, keep his breathe far longer than most humans. Him being half-dead and all. This is perhaps the reason why he had missed out on how deep he had gone under the water with Léan. When the need for air arose, he quickly pushed himself up with a kick but even though he glided through the water to the surface, he knew he wouldn't be able to reach it. His mouth parted and bubbled escaped from him - the last of the oxygen that was in his lungs.

Shadow grinned. Now that the weariness was being chipped away by the energy drink now flowing through his system, the man was unintentionally laying on the charm once again...he didn't even know he was doing it. "I'm sorry for embarrassing you. I must admit, totally off-topic, you have an attractive blush."

Blunt. Blunt. BLUNT. Too blunt!

Léan blinked when Kratos suddenly began to swim back towards the surface...but then he recalled what he had been thinking about just a few minutes before...

Air! He needed air!

Léan's first reaction was to grab the human and try to race towards the surface. Even though he was much faster, he probably wasn't going to make it in time. So, in his half-panicked state, he did what quite a lot of sirens did when they found humans abandoned at sea with water in their lungs, or deep beneath the surface and still alive.

He covered Kratos' mouth with his in a very awkward, CPR-like kiss. Immediately, oxygen would fill the human's lungs.

Too blunt, indeed. It even had Hebs dropping the rag he was holding for a moment before his face turned a faint shade of pink. "It's... all right," he mumbled, almost shyly before he'd mentally slapped himself. This was no time to be embarrassed. "You wide awake now that you're trying to charm me?" he asked as he folded the rag and left it on the table.

"Shall we go swimming?"

Kratos' eyes widened at Léan kissing him like that. He hadn't expected it at all but at the same time, he was thankful that the merman didn't even stop to hold back from doing it. He took in as much oxygen as he could while he held the other's face close with his hands cupping those cheeks.

Shadow's grin stayed firmly in place. Now that he was awake, he was feeling a little frisky. Sometimes he just had those days where he flirted with and complimented everyone in his path he found even mildly attractive. He wasn't going to force himself on anyone, but he was in the mood to flirt.

"I suppose I am. I guess I'm in one of my moods," he hummed. "Let me go and grab my swimming trunks. I'll join you in a moment." He turned and headed back towards his room, eager to get swimming. It seemed like it was going to be a rather nice day once it got later...

Now that Léan realized the impact of what he'd done, after his adrenaline and panic stopped flowing wildly, he could not hold back the monster of a blush, bright tomato red, from flooding his face. Hell, even his normally cold cheeks were flushed with unimaginable heat. There was a flicker of something akin to...fear, perhaps...in his eyes, as well. He had still not gotten over his bad past.

As their lips continued to lock, he drifted up towards the surface. It took them a few more long seconds to reach the surface. When they did, Léan broke away at once, very nervous. His tail was swinging back and forth underwater at the speed of a fan. He turned away from Kratos, totally embarrassed and afraid to even look at him.

"I don't think. I believe you're in one of those moods." Hebs took the empty can of energy drink from Shadow as he pursed his lips a little. "Remind me next time not to give you one of these." Ridding of the empty can and silently sighing, he ran his fingers through his hair and let his eyes slide shut tight.

How'd he fall into Shadow's charm again? Seriously?

Kratos, apparently, wasn't seeing that fear just yet. Hell, he didn't even realize they had reached the surface until the kiss was broken. He had to retrieve his hands quickly when he'd realized he was holding Léan's face. "Ah..." he started, looking embarrassed himself too, "Thank you." The male grunted before he'd swallowed tightly. He could still taste the merman and he didn't know why but he found it amusing how the other's face was bright red like that.

It was cute.

"Did I hurt you in any way?" he asked, worriedly as he'd brushed a few strands of hair away from Léan's face and lightly ran the back of his index finger over and down the other's jaw.

Shadow returned a few moments later in his swimming trunks. He'd dug out his most comfortable pair from the three he owned. They were black and very loose everywhere except at his hips, where they were tight enough to hug them and stay up, instead of falling down. "All right...ready to get going. I hope we don't disturb the two lovebirds out there," he added, glancing out towards the sea. They were out pretty far. He could barely see them.

Léan jumped when Kratos touched him, initially, and he looked up like he was expecting someone else. He calmed down when he realized it was just Kratos and not another person, but his shoulders slowly raised to his chin and the bright red blush on his face did not seem to want to go away. He was totally, utterly embarrassed...he would never be able to live this down, especially once Shadow read his thoughts and found it.

"...No..." he managed after a few moments, his eyes fixed on the water.

"I'm sure we won't," he assured Shadow. "Just keep your head off of them though. That'll ruin things." The snake teen reached out to take Shadow's wrist and he tilted his head towards the door. "Come on." And with that, he led the way out to sea.

Kratos smiled a little in relief. "That's good." The male looked out into the horizon. They were very far from the shore. This is a first. Taking the merman's hand in his own, he dove back into the water to resume their little sea watching.

Shadow made an offended little huffing noise before he willingly followed Hebs outside, into the cool morning air. It was slightly windy today, something Shadow would not be pleased about until his hair was wet. Wind blew his long hair all over the place, sometimes literally blinding him when it was strong enough and blowing in the right direction. "Gah."

Léan tilted his head slightly when Kratos grabbed him around the wrist--his blush had faded ever so slightly. He had no problem diving back underwater with Kratos...now that he had taken the initiative and given the human air, he figured Kratos would take air from him whenever he needed it, now. Of course, that thought brought the heat back to his face.

Hebs turned to look at Shadow and blinked before he'd laughed. Letting go of his wrist, he motioned to the other's hair. "Keep it in place 'til we get to the water." With that said, he reached over behind him to pull up his shirt and over his head. Tossing it to the ground, he headed for the shores and walked 'til the water was above his waist.

Cold. It had him shivering slightly and groaning quietly. Damn delicious this water. It was all he'd thought before he'd smiled again.

Of course. Kratos would be taking that air he'd be needing from the merman. At least, Léan didn't seem to mind him being close with him now. And, it made Kratos hope that Léan would depend on him because he wouldn't mind at all if he had to take care of him.

Kratos took that air once in a while from Léan and would occasionally smile at him before he continued gliding into the water deeper now with him. The corals were beautiful and there were fishes of different kinds all around. The sand even looked and felt nice. Picking up a rather good-looking shell, he held it out to Léan and raised his eyebrows a little. It was a silent question as to whether the shell was genuine and good or not.

Shadow flashed Hebs a grin, hips wiggling a little bit while he walked. He was feeling frisky...too frisky. He tended to get like this when he hadn't, er...gotten some...in more than two weeks. Highly-caffeinated or sugared food or drink items could make this urge worse.

He held his hair back as instructed and walked out, ever so slowly, into the water. The temperature of the water seemed to cool him down just a bit, but not all that much as he dipped underwater and sprang back up, flipping his hair over behind his head and then just standing there, getting used to the temperature of the water.

Léan had the same terrified sort of reaction, drawing back the first time Kratos actively kissed him on his own but ruefully returning after it looked like he might drown from the lack of air in his lungs. He was frightened of anything that even resembled too much affection. There had to be several reasons for this...reasons that he refused to share with anyone but Shadow just because it was impossible to keep secrets from the man.

When Kratos held the shell out to him, Léan sniffed at it curiously and then turned it upside-down. There were little crab legs sticking out of the bottom of it. It was the home of a small crab.

Hebs frowned a little as he continued to watch Shadow. He doesn't seem like his normal self at all. It was strange. But, hadn't he seen this before? Why was that again? he thought before he'd moved to swim to Shadow's side.

"Shadow, is it one of those days?" he asked, his brows raising just a tad, "Anything I can help you with?"

Kratos blinked at the sight of the little crab legs and he looked a little surprised. He didn't know that. Looking rather embarrassed, the male turned away and moved to swim slowly with his cheeks tainted slightly pink.

Shadow blinked at Hebs, looking somewhat...shocked...that he'd said anything. And offered to help. Did he even know what his problem really was? Shadow wasn't sure...but he wasn't going to imply anything just yet...

"...Ah...I should be fine on my own for now, as long as we are doing something fun together..." he mused quietly, leaning backwards to lay on his back in the water. He allowed himself to float, and the current started to gently pull him out farther into the sea.

Léan grinned, somewhat mischievously, swimming beside the human. It was rare to see Kratos acting so flustered. Frankly, the merman liked it. He slid in and out of the large, various rock structures near the ocean floor, every once in a while returning with some nice little treasures such as ancient wine bottles and pretty shells...
