Kratos looked at Shadow like he'd grown another head. "Why can't you do it yourself?" was all he'd asked when he'd seen him leaning against Hebs. Hebs, who in turn, made sure he didn't let Shadow fall. Hebs spoiled Shadow too much, that much Kratos could say. Stepping back and uncrossing his arms, he turned around and left without another word towards the empty tent, which he was sure Gian was in. The fit of hacking coughs made him let out a disgruntled sound.
Gian, who had just stepped out to get something hot to drink, had blinked at Kratos' way. He shut the door behind him and raised his eyebrows a little. "Something up?" he asked as Kratos pointed to the door behind him. "Tell him. About us." That was all he'd said before he'd went on and went to his own tent to get the chest. Of course, he'd revived a few corpses to have them bring the heavy chest. Strangely, the corpses got immense strength despite them only being bones and muscles with lesser to less skin. The formalin helped them stay in contact.
A few minutes later, Gian came back to Blake's room with the medicine and the hot chocolate. It was a recipe he'd gotten from Hebs. Hell, he'd reserved one for himself and Alfie. "Hey, Blake? You still awake?" He put the mug down on the bedside table and pulled up a chair, "I've got something to tell you. About us."
Hebs wasn't at all surprised to see Kratos coming back with his corpses and the chest of corpses. "The scrubs are at the corner. Shadow?" He brushed a few strands of hair away from the fallen angel's beautiful face and tucked those strands behind his ear. "We should get to cleaning so we can get the needed sleep." Hebs gave Shadow a small smile and patted his cheek. "Come on." Too sweet. That was what Kratos thought as he, with his corpses went on to get started to clean the aquarium. The smell of death was all around the tent, thanks to the said corpses.

"If I go to tell him, I will be tempted not to return, as my room is near by and I am in dire need of rest," Shadow muttered, pointedly. He rested his head gently on Hebs' shoulder, looking like a small, spoiled child. When he was tired, Shadow could get very testy and immature, and this was usually when he sparred with other members of his family over the stupidest things. He flashed a grin at Hebs when he patted him on the cheek and steadied himself on his feet, trudging over to help scrub down the tank. The smell did not bother him, in the least. Obviously, he'd smelled it before, many times.
Léan didn't particularly like the smell of death. He'd experienced it too much in his lifetime, seeing others of his kind kill themselves over territory, food, and potential mates and having to live in squalor conditions under his owners. But, he could not smell it much because he was underneath the water.
Blake sat up, almost falling back down, and propped himself up on the bed so he could more easily take the medicine and drink the hot chocolate Gian had brought for him. He blinked at the other's sudden words and his brows furrowed together. "...Okay?"

Kratos only let the corpses return back to the chests as he took their lives again once the aquarium was clean. Hebs did the last of them and even rinsed off the aquarium before he turned on the water to fill it up. "Kratos, wake up Léan once the place fills up. Can you handle the rest?" He could see the redhead turning to look at the merman who was still sleeping on the surface of the tank and he smiled in amusement at Kratos' features turning soft.
Hebs went to take Shadow's hand into his own and he led the way out as he clasped their fingers together. "Now, we can sleep," he said as he turned to look at Shadow, "Do you want me to come sleep with you or do you want to be alone?"
Gian smiled a little at Blake. "Well, the people around here aren't exactly people. They're freaks. But, they're not exactly a freaky freak." The male paused and frowned as he thought about how to describe them. "And, it's not just in the physical sense. Some of them have powers."

Léan didn't stir while the tank filled up. He was too comfortable curled up at the bottom of his smaller tank, oblivious to what was going on around him. He did stretch himself out once the tank was completely filled, and he opened his mouth in a long, wide, long yawn.
Shadow let out a sigh of relief once Hebs started to lead them out of the aquarium. He looked happy--he was exhausted, and really just wanted to get a whole lot of rest. "You may stay with me, if you wish. I won't demand it of you if you aren't tired. I just...I need to get some sleep before I fall over and pass out." He appeared to be falling asleep more and more as time passed--his heavy eyelids drooped more and more, covering those feral golden eyes of his.
The look that Blake fixed Gian with was a strange one, indeed. He stared directly at him with those piercing blue eyes, his face blank and almost totally devoid of emotion save for slightly widened eyes. After a long moment, he shifted where he sat and glanced downward, looking awkward.
"...Oh."

Hebs couldn't help but chuckle. These were the few times where he actually thought Shadow was adorable despite him being a tall and ferocious-looking fallen angel in a human's body. Tightening his hold on Shadow's hand, he quickened his pace to the others' bedroom and shut the door behind them before he'd made his way to the bed. Hebs took off his shoes and he made Shadow sit down so he could work his shoes off. Once that was done, he got on the bed and snuggled up against Shadow, his body half on the other while he pressed a light kiss on the others' jaw. It didn't take long for sleep to take over him too.
Kratos had turned off the water supply when the aquarium was filled and he moved to the smaller tank to tap lightly on the surface. Just to get the waking merman's attention. "Let's get you back home." The man motioned for him to swim up so he could take him.
Gian blinked at Blake's reaction and he brought up his hand to rub the back of his neck just a tad. "Yeah," he replied, his eyes moving down too. He was silent for just a few minutes before he'd turned to look back up at him again. "So... yeah. Don't be freaked out." He gave him a little grin. "Is there anything else you want?"

Shadow often didn't like being thought of as adorable even if it was a positive thought sometimes. So, when he heard that little snippet of thought passing through Hebs' mind, he pursed his lips while they were walking, looking like he just ate something particularly sour. When they reached his room, he was about to head directly to the bed, but was of course stopped by Hebs. His shoes were promptly removed, which he didn't mind at all, and he immediately cuddled up with the other to rest, falling asleep almost as soon as he was settled.
Léan gave a soft growl of annoyance, cracking one eye open to stare pointedly at Kratos. He hated having his tank tapped on, even if it was necessary. Idly, he swam up towards the top of the tank, poking his head out of the water's surface.
Blake shook his head, still having that strange look about him. "No. I'm just really tired and--" he broke out in a short fit of coughing, "--need some rest..."

Hebs was quick to fall asleep too and he let out one last deep breath before he did so. Gian, on the other hand, nodded at Blake's words. "All right. I'll drop by later," he said as he grinned, "To see if you need anything. I'll leave a glass of water here, too, for you." After all was said and done, Gian shut the door to Blake's room and headed to his own. When he saw it empty, he thought about the idea that had fluttered through his mind, he shut the door and went to Alfie's room. The door was unlocked as always.
Gian looked at Alfie and his big nest for a few seconds before he'd reached out to brush a few strands of hair away from the naga's face. Leaning in to press a light kiss onto those lips, he forced his way to snuggle up against the naga and leaned back against him. He couldn't really sleep on a nest but Alfie was comfortable enough at least. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep as well.
Kratos heard that soft growl and he pursed his lips a little. "Unless you want to stay in that tank," he said with his hand on his hip, "Do you?"

Alfie stirred slightly when his nest was disturbed--the tip of his tail began to vibrate back and forth, like a rattlesnake's, and he opened one lazy, wary eye to check for danger. When he noticed Gian, he calmed immediately and curled himself around him like a slightly cool, but heavy blanket. He let out a soft sigh and allowed himself to drift back off into sleep.
Blake, after Gian left, immediately laid down and curled up, tight. He was indeed very tired...and all he wanted to do was rest. He was out in a matter of twenty seconds.
Léan made a huffing sound and pushed himself further over the top of the tank. He was pouting a bit. Attitude...it was etched on every cell on his face. He was tired, obviously, and though he wasn't really saying or doing anything now to be temperamental, he certainly could be.

Kratos looked amused. His eyes showed it. He let out a deep sigh and acted like he was annoyed but in truth, he was just playing with Léan. It was fun teasing him, after all. Reaching up with both of his hands, he pulled Léan off of the tank while his booted foot held the tank upright. Léan was back in his arms again and he made his way to the pool. "I'll see you later." He leaned in to kiss him lightly on the lips and knelt down on one knee by the aquarium for Léan to let go of him and swim himself into his home.

Léan made a few soft cooing noises after he was kissed, sounding oddly like a happy dove, and then, once he was lowered towards the aquarium, he dropped his weight to one side and rolled smoothly into the water. He disappeared beneath the surface and proceeded to swim around the aquarium in rapid circles, looking happy to be home in his big aquarium even though he would miss the ocean.

Kratos didn't think such a kiss would have that effect on Léan. Hell, it surprised him. He continued staying in his position as he watched the merman and a small smile touched his lips for just a fraction of a second. Now that he got that done, he'd best be leaving. He was sure Hebs would be able to push the tank out and do the cleaning. For such a small body like Hebs, he had quite some strength. The redhead turned to look at the merman for the last time before he'd finally left to go to his room and get some sleep.

Léan was totally at ease underwater, and he settled down immediately to get some deep sleep. He had rested on the trip home, but...traveling was never good for him, and he could never completely settle whenever he was traveling. So, it was probably going to be a much deeper sleep once he managed to fall asleep. He dug himself out a little nest among the sand and rocks, underneath one of the decorations in the tank, and curled up tightly to sleep.

Kratos was surprisingly the first to stir up amongst all of them. He was now hanging out just outside of Léan's tent with a mug of hot drink in his hand. It was a cold early morning but he wasn't at all bothered by the said weather. In fact, the smell of the ocean was very apparent in the air and he frowned a tad. It looked like it was going to rain again. Had they entered a month of rainy seasons? Bringing the mug up to his lips to blow on the surface, he leaned back on the crate and settled the sole of his boot against the edge of the said crate.
With this kind of weather, everyone would definitely want to sleep and do nothing. Not that they were going to do anything anyway in the first place.

Léan was awake mere moments after Kratos, stirred by the smell of rain. He was a fan of rain and humid weather, and thus he often enjoyed weather that most people absolutely abhorred. He was busy lazily drifting around in his tank, his stomach grumbling at him for food. He was starting to get hungry, but he was waiting for someone to get up and check on him to realize this fact, seeing as he couldn't exactly hunt for himself in his aquarium.
Shadow was the third one up...he woke up about fifteen minutes after Léan did, and he was unbelievably cranky--even he realized that, before he was fully awake. He was most likely going to be a big grump all day. Rainy weather ruined his mood all the time.

Kratos knew Léan was awake from the sounds of the water from inside the tent. He took one last sip from his drink before he'd went to the kitchen to go get the merman some food. Hebs and Gian were asleep and he couldn't really ask Alfie or Shadow to do something about it. He was, well, particularly prideful.
Easily hoisting the crate of tuna, Kratos, with his hot drink, went back to Léan's tent. He had set the merman's food down by the pool and turned it over so the contents would come spilling all over the said side of the pool. The man seated himself on the crate while he took another long sip of his drink. "It's going to rain," was all he'd said, knowing he'd probably had stated the obvious.

Léan made a few pleased purring sounds as he scooped up his fish neatly, nabbing them all up in his arms and drifting towards the bottom of the aquarium. He set the fish out in a neat arrangement and snatched one up to start nibbling on it.
"I smell it," was his simple response to Krato's statement. Léan was usually the best possible weatherperson when consulted. Merpeople were sensitive to weather, considering that storms and hurricanes happened quite often out at sea and sirens had to scramble to protect themselves and their young from their destructive ways.

Kratos grunted. He watched Léan eat and idly wondered how fresh fish tasted like. Not that he was wanting to have a taste at it. It just made him curious with how Léan was nibbling on it like it was the most normal thing in the world. Well, he supposed it would be normal considering Léan's kind but still...
I'm going around in circles. As he thought this thought, he just remained silent while drinking his drink.
Hebs could very well feel Shadow's crankiness even when he was still on the man's bed. "Is it going to rain?" was the first question he'd asked as he slid his hand up to have it rest on the side of Shadow's neck. His thumb lightly stroked his jaw while he yawned out widely.

Léan seemed content with the silence, considering he had to eat and all. In no time he had eaten three out of the four fish and was tearing the flesh off of the fourth one. He looked happy--food, of course, always made him happy. In that sense, he was much like your typical human male. Food-motivated...
"Yes," Shadow muttered, bringing his arms up his eyes. He laid comfortably in Hebs' embrace. "I don't want to get up. I hate rainy days. They make me miserable..." ...and everyone else was miserable as well if they even got on his nerves just once. He could be very snappy on a rainy day.

Kratos didn't know why but he found amusement just watching Léan eat. It oddly reminded him of how Alfie eats. Without shame. Well, not that he could blame him. When one was hungry, they went all out. He was no exception to that rule. Finishing his drink and setting the mug aside, he let out a quiet sigh and leaned forward to put his elbows on his knees. The man continued to watch Léan as he tilted his head a bit.
"What do you think about traveling?" he asked as he brought up his hand to rest his jaw onto it.
Hebs chuckled hoarsely at Shadow's reply as he continued to stroke his jaw. He had just woken up after all. Tilting his head back a bit, the snake man kissed the fallen angel's other jaw. "You don't have to get up," he started as he smiled slightly, "There isn't anything for you to do today, is there?"
[[ Wooooooooo. My mind's in the gutter for these two. x___x Why, Shadow and Hebs, why?! D:

((Because Shadow is a sexy beast and a snake charmer. >.>... I make an effort to keep them all considerably adorable. X3 It makes them comical and cute all at the same time! A warning--I may have to head to bed soon. Early day tomorrow. :( ))
Léan stopped short on the last bite of his fish and eyed Kratos uncertainly. He decided to finish up the last bit of his final fish before responding--that took him, with licking the bones clean, about two minutes. When he finally did muster up the courage to respond, he set the bones of the last fish down.
"...I don't particularly like traveling. It makes me nervous. It would be easier, maybe, if I was drugged in some way..." he muttered, looking anxious. Traveling set the merman on edge. Drugging him up on something would perhaps be the best approach, seeing as his stubborn nature most likely wouldn't allow him to relax during any kind of trip.
Shadow chuckled in response--a pleasant, deep rumbling sound. He wrapped his arms around Hebs, his mood instantly cheered a little bit. "We are off until tomorrow. We do have a show tomorrow...I sincerely hope it doesn't rain tomorrow, or I will be in a terrible mood for our show. And that is never a good thing..."
Having a grumpy Ringleader was bound to make things difficult.

[[ Or Hebs is just one sexy beast and putting two sexy beasts together means... that.
Aww. =< But all right! You sleep tight and hope you have a good day tomorrow. o = ]]
Kratos looked thoughtful. Drugged, though, would probably make Léan a cranky one to deal with but if they got, perhaps, a tank that isn't so big and is good enough to fit the both of them... "Even if someone holds you?" he asked as he shifted again and clasped his hands together. His cheeks had colored a little here and he rubbed the side of his neck with his thumb.
Hebs closed whatever distance they had and smiled. "Then, we'll just have to do something to cheer you up before that?" he asked, almost teasingly, before he'd slid his hand down, over the others' chest 'til he got to his stomach. He lightly stroked his stomach with his thumb while he continued to snuggle up against him. Shadow was too comfortable. Even Hebs himself didn't want to get up.

((I will try. :3 Night-night!))
Léan looked very uncomfortable all of a sudden. "...That...that would not work very well for some kinds of traveling, someone holding me," he murmured, his cheeks a bit red. "...Traveling by plane is my worst fear. I would have to be all alone and covered, back in luggage..."
He shivered, looking upset.
Shadow grinned, knowingly. "Sure...we can do that..." He ran his hands down Hebs' back, eager to feel the younger male's touch and receive affection. Physical affection, after all, was just one of many ways to effectively cheer Shadow up.

Kratos looked surprised. "Can't you be seated and just have a blanket be put on your lap?" he asked as he frowned. The blush on his cheeks had long disappeared. It isn't like the topic required of him to have that on now. Kratos noticed how the other shivered and he pursed his lips a little again.
"You tried it before?"
Hebs let out what sounded like a pleased, hissing sound at the hands running down his back. You continue doing that and we might not get out of bed at all. The rain started to pour heavily from the high heavens and Hebs shifted a little to half cover Shadow's body with his own.

"That wouldn't work. We would have to move me...for boarding and exiting a plane. It wouldn't work..." The skittish-looking siren shook his head a few times. "And...I have tried it before, when only myself, Shadow, and Alfie were together. It didn't work at all. I was in bad shape for months...we had to take a cruise ship home, all the way across the ocean, because I couldn't deal with that plane again."
Léan looked down, looking a little ashamed of himself.
"That is fine with me."
Shadow nipped at Hebs' jaw and chin, lazily. Rain made him cranky and tired, but with a little motivation he might decide to get moving.

Kratos listened to the siren speak and he raised his eyebrows a little in surprise. That was, perhaps, the first time he'd reacted in such a way. It was strange to see Kratos look almost human. "Ah," was all he could say before he nodded and rubbed his hands on his pant legs, "Well, what about traveling on sea?"
Hebs let out a short, "Mm," at his jaw and chin being nipped. Chuckling lightly, he nibbled at the fallen angel's earlobe and let his eyes slide shut, only mindlessly doing that while he was half-awake.
The loud sound of the rain against the tent overhead had Gian stirring awake. He snuggled up closer to the naga and wrapped his arms tighter around his waist while he inhaled sharply and let out a deep breath. His toes rubbed some scales again before he'd smiled slightly and yawned. Why was Alfie so... comfortable?
