(no it's because it was the 'princess'' body XD and ya gotta think what time period it was XD even with demons that probably wouldn't happen without notification XD but no the poem was completely mine and I didn't base it off the book XP)

Kara stopped crying abruptly and shot to her feet hearing a sound and knew that it wasn't an animal. She moved to her door and pressed her ear against it breathing quietly before she heard foot steps and her eyes grew wide and she stumbled back falling to the ground and landing on her hands and butt. How could anyone ANYONE have gotten in? There was only one entrance that wasn't bolted shut and that one was completely hidden... how could ANYONE find it... it was impossible! No one knew about, nor could see, that entrance even if they walked all the way around the house... they wouldn't be able to find that entrance... it was hidden too well.

((Well, no. It takes a lot more than that for people to leave their homes, regardless of time period and superstition. Especially if its isolated to just one event like a body disappearing. Grave-robing was also fairly common back in those days too if I'm not mistaken, and the bodies were used for medical autopsy when the line of convicted criminals had run out. It was actually a pretty booming business because medical colleges were so desperate for cadavers that their students needed to dissect to graduate. There was a history channel special on that actually. I'm just saying. Plus, lots of houses were reportedly haunted throughout history, and as far as i know, no one reacted quite that severely. I mean, They would probably avoid certain areas like the castle, but i don't think it warrants a town wide evacuation.

Roman stopped dead in his tracks as the crying came to an abrupt halt and a crash sounded from the room.
"Definitely, something living," He thought to himself. Well, this was ether a good time to bolt or see if the person was alright. After all they had been crying, and there had been a crash. But then again this could end up like one of those old horror movies where he haunted house was actually the home of an axe murderer or something. But that usually happened in a group where each teenager was picked off one by one. Well, he wasn't in a group, so that was good. On the other hand, he could be that one guy who goes into the house at the beginning and gets killed to make sure that the audience knows that whatever the monster is, its dangerous.
"I should definitely leave..." He thought to himself, "But...the person could be hurt...Is there a law about leaving someone whos hurt?...Some sort of bystander law? I dont think so but..."
He looked at the door, uncertainly for a few long moments before he finally made up his mind. With a sigh, he took a step forward and put his hand on the door tentatively.
"Hello..." He ventured, "Are you alright in there?"

(ow well XP it's fiction anyway XD they could have just left to the other kingdoms XD )

Kara's breaths caught as she heard the feet closer to the door and then heard a voice. "H-how did you get in here?" she finally called worriedly and hoped that he would answered and hadn't damaged anything in the house... that really would have bothered her since she didn't even know how he got in here.

((XD Yup!))

Roman looked at the door with confusion, "Uh...through the side door...I was worried i would break the front one...So..."

(lol XD )

"How did you find it? It's hidden?" Kara asked guardedly and almost felt like she was going insane or something... how could anyone find their way into her castle? And why was he here anyway?

"I just...I dont know, looked," He said with a shrug, "It wasnt locked or anything...why? Didnt you want anyone coming in?...Are you alright in there i can hear you crying. Your not hurt are you?"

"No I'm not okay.... but physically I'm not hurting." Karasu sighed as she stood and walked to the door. She opened in and to her surprise gasped at who she saw. "W-what are you doing here?" she asked and wondered how he got in... there was no way he could have seen the entrance... was there?

"Uh..." Roman gasped out as the girl suddenly opened the door. She was the girl from the bar. THe one that he had...Ohhhh, this was not good. He cleared his throat once awkwardly, "I-I-I...that Is...Um..."
He could actually feel his face turning beet red.
"I...I'm a paranormal investigator...and there...uh...there seems to be ...uh...reports of paranormal activity in this," He coughed again, "Uh...castle... I was hired to..."

"If there's anything haunting about this house it's the pain it brings me and the fact that the shadows never seem to leave the grounds even during daylight hours." Karasu said with a frown as she leaned against the door crossing her arms a bit with a slight frown... though she didn't go into detail about what she was talking about... she really didn't feel like explaining.

"Well thats quite...uh..." Roman began nervously, unable to think of the proper word to describe her words. How exactly was he supposed to react to this? What was she doing here? Was she homeless? Or was there a dead fetus in there? He had seen those weird movies and books about how kids would go out back after prom night and have a kid in some secluded place and just leave it there. He didnt want to see that. But then again, she didnt look THAT young, so it probably wasn't a fetus. Or she could have been working and brought man back here. He stared very briefly at her breasts. But that didnt account for the whole deep monologue. Oh, deep, deep was the word, "Deep..."
He grinned a bit at the end, happy to finally give it a name.

"Okay, well, is there any OTHER reason why you're here? This house is only haunting to me and those few that might, MIGHT, still be alive to know what happened here... so in other words, there's no reason why you should be investigating anything or going anything here... it's only haunted by the past and my memories." Karasu murmured dully as she watched the male but for some reason felt that he BELONGED here... like she had seen him here before... but there was no way! He wasn't as old as her... he couldn't be as old as her.

"Well, No, not really," he said with a shrug, "I mean, i was PAID to be here. The ambiance is nice and all, but im not the kind of guy who hangs out in old Victorian houses. No internet..."
He looked around the room quickly. It felt very familiar, but he was the last to be able to say. He brushed the idea off very quickly, but the odd sensation of belonging did stick in his chest longer than he would have liked.

"Fine, if you want to stay here then you fallow my rules and if you don't I will kick you out so fast and so hard that you'd get whiplash." Kara said as she crossed her arms and stared at the male. "One, you DO NOT go into that room nor this one." she said pointing down the hall to her brothers old room then pointing behind her to her own room. "Two, you ARE NOT to open any doors without me knowing and being with you. Three, DO NOT touch anything that looks like it may fall over or break or looks more valuable then you, it probably is. And finally, DO NOT touch the papers in the thrown room nor any stray papers or items that you may find, they are probably very important." she said and hoped that he would fallow her rules and wouldn't question them.

(ooo! what if he accidentally goes into Remy's room and like when he sees the body all the memories come back to him or something? X3 and it would almost be like mental torture XD )

((TOO EASY! XD WE MUST MAKE HIM SUFFER FIRST! Muhuhahha! Also, I love Kisaru right now, she sounds so SASSY in my head!))

"Woa, Woa, Woa!" Roman exclaimed, throwing his hands out in front of him, half to calm her and half to hold her back from jumping on him like a puma. Well, maybe not that, but she didn't exactly seem friendly ether.
"Listen," He said, trying to calm both her and himself down a bit, "I had NO idea that anyone was in here. And to tell you the truth, the old man who hired me didn't seem to know that ether. So, if you don't want me in here, well, then I'm just going to leave you be. No questions asked, no kicking me out...just, though the door. I wont touch your stuf of your doors just...Ill head out. So...bye"

"Wait... who sent you again? And no no one would know that I'm here because I have not made myself known... I don't want anyone to know I'm here because they'll just come to bother me." Karasu frowned some and then rolled her eyes a bit at how he was freaking out over her rules... he would have never survived if he lived back in her hay-day(I think I typed it wrong XP)

((Yeaaaa...she only made her brother murder her ex-boyfriends fiance killed :/ No biggie))

"Uh...Al...De-" He pulled out his day planner to check his accuracy, "Fratello! Alfred DeFratello. I think hes the owner of the house down the way a bit. He cuts the grass here occasionally, just because he sais its too nice to see fall apart. He said that the previous owner never sold it and it was never bought so..."
He sighed and looked at her oddly for a moment.
"Well...Uh...I wont...bother you then," He said, and began to turn away.

(lol XD yup X3 though she would never be that cruel ever again XP )

"Great... I'm surprised he doesn't know that I'm here." Karasu rolled her eyes some at the name then sighed a bit. "You can stay if you like but really I just don't want anything bothered... this house is over 1000 years old at least... I know that it has to be at least 3-400 years old at the very least..." she sighed softly as she looked at the male though you could tell that she was just worried that some accident might happen or something like that.

"Well...if you can attest to the fact that this place isnt haunted then i can go. Job done," Roman said with a chuckle and placed his marker back into his pocket, "But I'm going to have to tell my employer that your here, just so that he knows better than to trespass...And...I'm gonna check with the local police...Just to make sure its ok for you to be here. I mean you dont look like a hobo...But. Just in case you know."
He smiled, nervously and pulled out his cellphone to do just that, but halted for a moment, wondering if it was appropriate to call 911 in this situation.

((Fun fact: I think i have a halloween dress up addiction! XD For the past hour and a half ive been wearing a top hat, suspenders, and with a fake pipe in my mouth WHILE listening to Brittany spears. This is what strange, nerdy, people do when their alone and bored at college when their not dressed as zombies))

"No! You can't tell them!" Kara said then sighed some and took a breath in then let it out. "If ANYONE knew I was here they would bother me... or they would come to kill me... I do own this residence and it is under my family name though there no longer has to be payments on it... it has it's own power and everything... there's no reason to tell anyone else about this place and me... it's allot better and safer if no one knows about me being here." she said softly and really hoped that he didn't question her though felt that he would since she wasn't really being pacific with what was going on.
