I take a crapload of medication and while I hate it, it does help me.

For colds the meds are more for symptom management. But what DeadAngel has does not sound like a cold to me and if it's the flu, antivirals can be given within the first two days of becoming sick and if it's a bacterial infection it needs to be treated properly.

Luckily my guy friends have crushes on me and don't mind me laying my head on them.

My parents should know by now when I'm skipping or not. When I'm just skipping I cry and tell them I don't want to go. Most the time when I do want to skip and it's not school related I have a good reason. . .

I need to wait 3 hours after eating, and an hour after I take it to eat again. And I'm supposed to take it every other day. I know I need to take it today because I missed yesterday, but I need to look up if it will sill be effective and whether to wait a day or just take my last one tomorrow.

Well, typhoid can be a problem in less developed countries. It DOES still exist, as does dysentery. And the plague is on prairie dogs and armadillos. Technically you can still catch it.
