Jorden helped him gather some wood and set it down besides the fire. She then sat down next to him and her tail wrapped around his waist. She kissed his cheek gently and smiled at him, "I love you." she said to him softly.

Dustan smiled feeling the kiss upon his cheek and then leaned forward and kissed Jordan lightly onthe lips. He wrapped his arms around her. He pulled her closer and ran a hand threw her hair lovingly. He loved the taste of her lips. He then pulled away and looked into those amazing eyes. "I love yiu... So very much..."

Jorden smiled when she fekt him kiss her. He tasted amazing and she knew that she couldn't live without him. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she kissed him back and a purr broke out From her. When he pulled away she purred louder and leaned against him, "i loge you more then anything else." she whispered softly and ran a hand threw his hair.

Dustan smiled hearing that wondrful purr and closed his eyes as she ran a hand threw his now short and slightly spiked hair. He blushed a light purple feeling it and then looked at her. "So you like my hair still?" he asked sheepishly and then chuckled. It was a stupid question, but he wasn't sure if he would ever get usedto not having his things anymore. Or his long hair. He had had long hair sense he was two...

Jorden smiled and kissed his cheek, "of course I like it, it makes you look cool." she said and stayed close to him. "it reminds me that your a force to be recond with and you look deadly." she said as she continued to purr lightly and still ran a hand threw his hair getly.

Surprised Dustan blushed a bot more and grinned. "Really? I guess it isn't that bad then..." he said lightly and then chuckled. He fell back onto his back and closed his eyes. "So... Do you know why you can heal with tears then?" he asked curiously as he tired to calm his tense body.

Jorden smiled and shook her head, "not bad at all." she said as she looked at him and watched him lay down. He looked cute and she loved him more then anything else. But when she ehard his question she sighed a little. She gently layed down and rested her head on his chest. "I am like this because of my bloodline. My mother use to tell me stories when I was little. She said that long ago when war was going on just like now a neko names Neva watched the fighting. She couldnt' stand it and wanted to fight. She wished to stop the fighting and show that there was piece before something unforgivable happened. So she wanted up into the mountains to prey to the god of all nekos, Sunita. Neva asked for the power to help others and stop the war. Sunita heard her and bestowed upon her a gift. Neva ran out of there before she could find out what the gift was and stop the war. But when she got to the battle feild she saw that almost everyone was dead. She wished that she could of spoted them and she cried then. Her tears fell to the ground and onto some of the wounded. They started to heal right away and when she saw that she could help she healed everyone. But they saw her power and wanted to use it for themselves. They tryed to capture her and she ran. She didn't know that her new gift would have this effect. She just wanted to help and now they all wanted to use her. She had to get out of there before something happened. So she ran and made herself dissappear." she said to him softly and gently traced a circle on his shirt. "I am her decended, the last one of us and now the same thing is happend to her but I have no where to hide." she said and knew that she should tell him the rest, "and it isn't just my tears. If I lick a infected area that has been poisoned or something like that I can heal you. If a dead person drinks some of my blood they can come back from teh dead for a certain amount of time. But there is a side effect because of this, I cant use any of my gift on myself, I can get injured easyer then others, it takes a longer time for me to heal myself and if you want to bring back someone from teh dead completely the dead person has to drink all of my blood." she said as she curled up to his side.

Listening Dustan closed his eyes, memories that were not his own flashed in his mind... Shocked he shook and then his eyes snapped open. "Some how... I've always known... Known you had powers.... Knew the story..." he whispered and looked down at her. "I haven't been completely honest with you either." he whispered and closed his eyes. "When I was younger.... I had been ahead of my people for years... I was amazing at doing everything. I was a seasoned soldier before I even picked up my swords..." he whispered and then shook his head. "They had infused memories inside of me.... Memories of the past, things I have worked hard to lock away..... They pass down the memories of my family... Because we desend from the warrior Demotional.... He helped your great ancestor to flee...." he whispered and closed his eyes. "What if that's why we're connected?"

Jorden listened to him intensely and then moved so her head was resting on his shoulder. She looked at him and smiled, "maybe it is why but to me I dont really care. As long as I have you I am happy." she said to him softly and kissed his cheek gently. "and what kind of memories have you tried to lock away? maybe you shouldn't work hard to lock them away. They could be important to us." she said as she looked at him and stayed close. She gently wrapped her tail around his leg and made sure that she didn't have ot move away from him.

Dustan shook his head and then sighed. "Memories of each generation having to hide away your family's gifted one... what they did to those who even came close to the gifted... Its savage and harsh... Brutal.." he whispered and then shuddered. "They killed so many for the safety of one person that I almost question why they do it... but i know each one has felt connected to the gifted and did anything and everything for them" he said and then looked at her. "We cannot truely have eachother either... I cannot taint your bloodline." he whispered sadly and felt a tear run down his cheek. "though i have been holding onto the ring for you ever sense i met you.. i know I cannot do that." he whispered, almost depressed..

Jorden frowned when she heard him and moved closer to him. She closed her eyes and could almost see the blood shed that had happened. It was horrible and she didn't want it, she didn't want the power. She never did. The only thing she wanted to do was be with him and she couldn't do that. She looked up at him and whispered, "what if I dont want the power?" she asked him softly and stayed close. "what if you did taint my blood line or we found a way to get ride of the gift?" she asked as she gently wiped his tear away, "then we could be together and the gift would go away. No one would want me and we could be happy. The gift is more of a curse then a gift, more people get hurt them helped so I think it owuld be good to get ride of it." she said to him softly and stroked his cheek.

Dustan bit his lip hearing Jordan and thought about it. her statements were true, but there was one thing they were forgetting. If they did any of that would they bring on the wrath of the neko god down upon them? "Of we are to do this, we should ask guidence from your goddess.... becuase if we anger her we could be dead or cursed and so coud our children if we ever have any..." he whispered softly and looked at her wondering if she would be up for it. better safe then sorry.

Jorden listened to him and then nodded, "yes I think your right about that." she said to him softly and then kissed his cheek gently. "but if we want to go and talk to her we have to go to her temple. It is up in the mountains where not many people go." she said to him softly and stayed close to him. She then reached up and ran a hand threw his hair because she felt like it, "as long as I find out that I can be with you I will be willing to do anything." she said as she looked at him and smiled lovingly.

dustan smiled adn then closed his eyes as he relaxed under the feel of her hand running threw his hari. It felt good and he was surprised by that. he sighed softly and then heard a small twang. "Ah ha. My animal trap caught some food." he said and slowly sat up. "stay here, I'll be back in no time." he said nd kissed her forehead. he then walked out and found a dead rabbit in his snare. he then skinned and gutted it and put it on a spit. Smiling he walked back into the cave. "Supper is here."

Jorden smiled as he closed his eyes and continued to play with his hair. It felt nice and she wanted to stay like this with him for a long time. Yet he sat up and had to get food. She didn't want him to go but purred when he kissed her forhead. She loved it when he did that. She then smiled when he came back in with the food, "great, I cant wait to eat. If you want I could cook it." she said as she looked at him.

dustan smiled widely and walked over to the fire. "If you want to, then I can put these herbs on it so it will taste good." he said as he set the rabbit on a flat stone and began rubbing the rabit with the herbs he had found growing close to the cave entrance. He then looked up at her threw the corner of his eye and grinned. "So... I'm surprised you aren't curious about the ring... I though you would be for sure." he said lightly and turned his gaze back to the scewered rabbit.

Jorden smiled and then smirked when she heard him. She walked over to him stood behind him as he got the rabbit ready. She wrapped her arms around his neck and looked over his shoulder as he worked. "Oh I am, but I have learned to contain my curiousity." she said to him softly but a smile spread over her lips. "but since you mentioned it, I would really like to know about the ring now. Can I see it?" she asked him softly and then kissed his ear gently.

Smiling Dustan chuckled and set the rabbit above the fire to cook on the spit. He then wiped off his hands and chuckled as she wrapped her arms around him. Moving her arms from around his neck he slowly slipped off the chain necklace he always wore and then from beneath his shirt he pulled the chain, and on it was a beautiful silver ring forged with care and love, her name and his ingraved into it, and a beautiful cresent moon in dimonds inside a ruby heart. "I stayed up all day and made it after I met you." he whispered and smiled. "Do you like it?"

Jorden gasped when she saw the ring and gently reached out and touched it gently. She then looked at Dustan and smiled, "it is beautiful, why did you make it?" she asked as she looked at him and Smiled. She then kissed his cheek, "I love it, it probably took you a really long time to make it." she said as she looked at it. She could tell that it probably took him a very long time but why for her right after they met. But as she remembered that day she knew why, she had fallen for him on sight.

Dustan smiled widely as he held up his proud craftmanship. "Because immediately when i saw you, I thought you were the most beautiful thing in the world, and that I should propose before anyone else got the chance." he said and then kissed her cheek as she looked at it. "I kept in my smithery for three days, working on it until it was perfect. I had two other designs in my workshop actually that I didn't like, but this was definately my best... I knew how to make it from one of my ancestors who was a jewler in the time of peace as he watched over one of your desendents." he said and smiled at her. "I'm happy you like it, but until we can be together without anything to stand in our way, I swore to keep it on this chain and around my neck, so it feels like you're always close." he said lovingly and storked her cheek.

Jorden smiled widely when she heard him say the word propose. She loved that word now and knew the answer to that question when he asked her. She then looked into his eyes as she listened to him. She then nodded as she looked at him. "I understand." she said softly and purred loudly when he strokes her cheek. She loved him more then anything else and she then kissed him gently, "oh and just so you know, a few of the other nekos have asked me to marry them. But the yes belongs only to you for when you ask me." she said as she looked at him and stayed close. She sort of wished that she had Kade something for him now but she could t make anything, if she tried it looked like a piece of garbage. So her mind was always on him to make her feel close to him.

Dustan looked at her shocked and then nearly growled hearing her words. "Well I'm glad that you haven't said yes to anyone then." he said and smiled brightly. He turned the rabbit to cook it's other side and then kissed her back. "Knowing you love me is enough for me. " he said happily and grinned.

Jorden smirked when she heard him growl slightly. She wrapped a arm around him and stayed close, "I would never say yes to any of them, only you." she said to him softly and smiled when he kissed her. A small purr broke out in her throut and she smiled at him, "I love you more then anything and you are the only one for me." she said as she looked up at him and conitnued to purr. She would wait for him till the day that she died.

Hearing Jordan purr made Dustan smile widely and kiss her again deeper then the last time. He then pulled away remembering he couldn't do such things yet and smiled reasurigly. He then grabbed the rabbit and pulled the meat off and put it on a flat rock for them to eat. "All done. What do you think?" he asked as he chewed on a piece of meat. It tasted amazing since he had not eaten all night.

Jorden loved the kiss and kissed him just as deeply before he pulled away. She wanted to kiss him like that again but knew it wouldn't be good. They had to wait till she asked her goddess and hopefully her goddess would say yes. She then smiled when she saw the food and took a bite, "it tastes great." she said as she smiled at him and once she finished eating she kissed his cheek, "thanks for making the food." she said as she looked at him happily.
