Looking at Jordan a bit coldly the goddess shook her head. "Very well, because you have remained pure but for this one thing, I will spare your life... But to take back a blessing you recieve a curse." she said and suddenly magic wrapped around Jordan like a spiderweb, incasing her in light. "Maybe you will see without eyes how truely foolish you are." she said with power as the magic constricted and gave Jordan pain as the powers were slowly extracted, as well as her ability to see. Hearing screams Dustan looked up worriedly and then looking at then sun he shook his head. He had to get to her. He then sprinted out of the cave and up the path to the temple cave, his flesh burning instantly making him grit his teeth against the massive pain.

Jorden screamed louder then she had ever screamed before. The pain was horrible, worse then anything else she had ever experienced. Slowly her sight started to blur and then her sight was gone. After a few minutes the pain was gone too and she layed on the ground motionless. She whimpered slightly but knew that this was the price for dustan. She then slowly got her to her feet and bowed to the goddessas best as she could. "thank you for meting with me." she said softly and then started to make her way towards the exit but was havin trouble. Her eyes still hurt but she had to deal with it.

The goddes dissappeared as she was thanked and Dustan called out horsely to Jordan as he stumbled into the protective darkness of the cave. He then saw her and stumbled to her and pulled her to his burnt form. He didn't care how much he hurt as long as Jordan was okay. "Jordan.... What happened? Are you alright?" he asked looking her over with worry and heaviness to his features. His pale features were nearly all turned black from the blazing sun that gave him no mercy.

Jorden was surprised to feel dustans arms but slowly tears started to run down her face as she pulled herself closer. She could be with him but she would never see him again. Yet when she was about to speak she smelled something. It smelled like something was burned. Fear struck her, "your burned! You should of stayed in the shadows. I will be fine." she said as she stayed close to him.

Dustand was shocked feeling tears from Jordan's eyes and then his gaze softened hearing her. "Yes..." he whispered and then looked at her shocked. She had just noticed?! "Jordan!" he said worriedly and then waved his hand infront of her face, shocked as he eyes didn't move. "You.... You gave up your sight?" he whispered pained and stinging cold tears ran down his blackened skin. "Jordan..." he whisperer and cried softly as he kept her close to his body. He blamed himself for this tragety.

Jorden stayed close to him and buried her face into his chest. "I didn't give, she took." she said softly and clung to him. She could see nothing, she couldn't see how badly his burns where or anything else. "she said that maybe without my sight I would be able to see how foolish I was. But I don't care, I love you and want to be with you." she said as she clung to him. She then kissed his chest gently and whispered, "dot cry, I am happy." she said softly.

Listening to her words didn't make dustan any happier, it made him more inraged. he wanted to go to that goddess and take back Jordan's sight. She wasn't foolish for loving him, it was love, and everyone, no matter what race deserved to love. "I know..." he whispered and then kissed her sweet cheek with burnt lips. "But I wish she wouldn't have taken it." he whispered and then sighed. "I will just have to get good at explaining things to you so you can picture them." he whispered but then crumpled to the ground, pulling Jordan closer so she didn't get hurt as he fell. "But I-I need rest...' he studdered painfully and winced feeling the burns on his back ripped open and bleeding.

Jorden stayed close when he fell over and heard him. She reached out and gently touhed his cheek, "rest, I will take care of you. Even If I am blind I will help." she said and smelled blood coming from him. She getly ran fingers over him till she found the wound and frowned, "just sleep." she said as she ripped her shirt and pressed it to theground. She stayed close to him and ran a hand threw his hair. She liked the feel of it now more then ever.

hearing Jordan Dustan was about to protest when he decided not to, he did need rest. "Alright... But hear anything out of the ordinary wake me." he whispered and then sighed and closed his eyes, passing out nearly instantly.

JOrden smiled when she heard his breathing slow and knew he was asleep. She kept the ripped part of her shirt to his back and hoped that he was going to be okay. She then kissed his cheek gently once she found it and continued to run a hand threw his hair.

Dustan stayed passed out for awail but then began to dream, and had a nightmare. Gasping he jerked awake and then gasped in pain. Curling up in pain he shook and trembled feelig the burns after heat making his body feverish. "J-Jordan... How long w-was I out?" he asked studdering in pain as he laid there the best he could.

Jorden frowned when she hear him wake up and gasp in pain. She gently reached out and gently stroked his head and kissed his cheek gently. "you have been out for a little while but nothing has happened." she said softly and smiled a little. She hoped that he was okay and gmshw gently stroked his head. "how do you feel?" she asked him softly.

Hearing her Dustan licked his burnt lips making them sting. "Umm..." he started and nearly winced in pain again. It wasn't fun being burnt to a crisp like this. "I'm... really hot..." he managed to gasp out as he looked at her. He wished her eyes were as vibrant as they used to be. But he was glad she couldn't see him in this state, she would be bawling if she did see him. This burnt body was horrifying.

JOrden frowned and knew she had to do something. She gently stroked his cheek and said softly, "I think I should either go find help or some water." she said and knew that he wasn't going to like it. But she had to find a way to help him in some way. She could only do a little now that she didn't have any powers.

Dustan frowned hearing and then shook his head. "No, Jordan. You can't." he said and then looked up at her. Reaching up painfully he cupped her cheek. "You could get into more danger now that you can't see." he whispered painfully and then coughed and shook, the pain emense. "I'm sure someone will come and help." he whispered adn groaned. "HAve faith... We will get help in the time of our need." he whispered reasuringly.

Jorden nodded and a few tears escaped her blind eyes. She took his hand into hers and she made him put it down. "okay, I have faith." she said and hoped that the hel pcame soon. She couldnt' bare the idea of loseing him after losing everything for him. She then gently stroked his head, "get some rest. you need it." she said softly and stayed close.

Dustan looked at her lovingly and then nodded. "Alright." he whispered and wiped a few af her tears away. he then struggled to breath normally as his hand fell to his side. HE was in major pain. He soon passed out once again, his body on fire compared to Jordan's, and naturally his skin was cooler then hers. As time passed a neko healer was walking into the cave with brown curly hair and brown ears and tail. She hummed as she walked but gasped in shock seeing Jordan and Dustan. "What is that poor shadow elf doing here?! Its the middle of the day!" she gasped surprised.

Jorden was crying since she was afraid that she might lose him but jumped when she heard the healer. She looked towards where the sound came from. "h-he was worried about me. S-so he went into the sunlight." she said and was gently stroking his head and whispered, "can you help him?"

Surprised the healer came forward slowly. "he isn't a soldier is he?" she asked softly as she approached. Kneeling on the other side of Dustan's burnt form she looked at the younge neko. "Why did he come for you?" she asked sckeptically as she searched in her bag for the right herbs to mix up.

Jorden shook her head, "he was a solider but gave it up for me. He gave everything up for me and now he is hurt." she said softly and tears continued to run down her cheeks asshe ran a hand threw his hair. She could hear the healer looking for something and hoped it was t a knife. "he came for me because he loves me and wanted to protect me." she said softly.

Looking at Jordan the healer's eyes softened. "He must be devoted to you..." she whispered looking at his chopped off hair. "His honor was taken from him I see.... His hair has been cut." she said and then pulled out a mixing bowl and stirred together the potion. "He needs to drink this." she said and then sighed and lifted his head slowly. "Drink..." she whispered and poured it into his mouth. He swallowed in his sleep and shuddered. "When I mix the paste you'll have to rub it on his body."

Jorden continued to stroke his hair getly and nodded, "yes I do know he is devoted to me, just as I am to him." she said softly and then stroked his cheek gently. She wished she could help more but she was now no longer gifted. She then nodded when she heard the healer and smiled, "okay, I think I can manage to do that. By the way I am jorden." she said as she looked to where she thoughtthe healer was.

Looking at Jordan the healer reached out and took her unoccupied hand. "I am Selene." she said softly and then handed her the bowl of creme. "Put this over his body. It will help the burns heal." she said softly and then looked at Jordan again. "I am sorry about your eyes, he is a very handsome man... You are very blessed."

JOrden smiled at Selene and was glad to have found a kind person. She then started to slowly put the cream on Dustan and hoped that it would help. But knew that Selene's words where true and trusted her completely. "Dont be sorry, my sight was taken from me for being with him. But he is worth it and I do feel blessed." she said as she continued to cover dustan in the cream.

Hearing Jordan Selene smiled and nodded. "I see... You came to ask he goddess to be with him..." she whisperred and then sighed longingly. "I did that myself..." she whispered and then shook her head softly. "Though I gave up some of my insides... So I do not work right anymore and my immune system is hardly there..." she whispered and smiled softly. "I fell in love with a shapeshifter." she said softly and then felt Dustan's forehead. "He died five years ago...." she whispered and then shook her head. "He left to just get some bread... But never came back." she said softly snd wiped a tear from her eye. "I wish the godess would be mercyful and let me die too... But I am doomed to wonder this earth until she sees fit that my time has come..." she said softl and then put a Hand on Jordan's shoulder. "So keep him close...." she whispered
