that's what i think. we have four cats and three guinea pigs. i was willing to give up my guinea pigs for the puppy. the guinea pigs make such a big mess anyways. and are hard to take care of. puppy would have been easy. take her out to potty, feed and water her. and play with her. he's just a jackass sometimes and everything is his way or the highway. :cry:

That's not how it should be. :/
It should be equal between partners. You'd think he would want the puppy instead of the guinea pigs.. Unless you're the one who takes care of them and he doesn't. Which isn't fair either.

I agree with Dia though. Have you told him how you feel about it?

i tried. he just yells about how expensive it will be and we are already gonna be pinching pennies. gosh you guys are making me cry. lol. hurts my feelings because here i am willing to give up MY guinea pigs for the dog. i'm the only one that takes care of them. it done and over with though. nothing i can do about it now. he still wants me to give up my Rocky Boy guinea pig. :(

She stayed the night at my mom's house. she belongs to my mom's neighbors. i just thought hubby would be ok with it because we'd been talking about getting a doggy. guess not.
