everytime you think of food *when you are not hungry or getting a meal ready* drink some of your water.
make it they way you like it, for example with ice or room tempature or with sugar free additives etc.
i also keep applying my lip gloss since it has a sweet taste to it and i don't like to eat with it on.
or use some sugar free gum to give you that chewing sensation and mouth appeal without many more than five calories.

I love adding this sugar free additive to my water... I forgot what the brand is called since I only recognize it by its box, but its a hawaiian punch flavour and I LOVE IT! It makes it taste so yummy ^o^

I don't blame you, it sounds like he is doing everything but reassuring you. which is the total dick move. You just do what makes you happy tonight and screw him, let him come to you and apologize, since this is all his fault to begin with.

He was trying to reassure me, but I just wouldn't take it. He said it so coldly and "matter of fact"ish that I was like... well wtf! Do I believe you or not??

That kind of stuff need more than matter of fact words, it needs actions to back it up, and being an ass is not one of those actions. I wouldn't believe it till you saw it. Especially if there are texts. Ugh people are stupid sometimes. I hope it all gets worked out though!
