Yeah, I, um, found someone who needs a little healing, that's all," Melora said. "But if we're fighting, it can wait a bit." Melora knew that she should not join a fight in which she didn't know the strategy, so she decided to get Talana to safety so that the healers could heal the wounded on the battlefield.
"Hold on, Talana," Melora whispered. "We're taking a little detour while the fight's going on." Even though she felt guilty for not helping fight, she would feel worse for not helping Talana.

Alethia saw someone injured and rushed out to their aid. She winced at the burn they had just received. She gingerly put her hands on top of the wound. They winced as she touched them. She closed her eyes and concentrated. The wound slowly faded from it's raw, red color until it was pink and healthy. She helped them stand up and they rushed back out into the fight. Normally she would advise against doing anything for a few hours but in a fight such precautions couldn't be taken. She scanned the field again, looking for someone who was injured.

((sorry about my absence, RL is a pain))
Talana just shook her head slightly. "It's fine," she said. "Go, help them. I'll be fine until it's over." She wasn't completely helpless, even if she couldn't completely defend herself.
Arvyt carefully stayed away from any active fighting as he made his way to the wounded. In one hand was a staff, which he used to defend himself the few times someone actually tried to attack him. He was quick to disarm them and knock them out, and then he'd turn back to looking for their wounded. Arvyt was a healer, he didn't kill people, but that didn't mean he wouldn't defend himself if necessary.
Elnych clashed through the guard, alternating between his weapon of choice (a sword) and his gift. Beside him was Zrech, and they fought together as a team, seeming to seamlessly know exactly what the other was already planning.

"Okay. Melora, where is this person that needs help?" Alethia wiped her sweaty palms on her pants and stood up, prepared to follow Melora's directions.

"She's right here," Melora quickly replied. "Thank you for helping me." Talana seemed pretty confident, so Melora decided to leave in her in the care of Alethia. "Now I've got to go off to the battlefield. Take care of her for me!" With that, Melora started heading toward the direction of the fight.

As the enemy closed in to protect Tali she ended up turning on them. The fire devastated the back of their ranks and sent a wave of confusion throughout the small force. While Kael commended her for the bold move he knew she had put herself in some serious danger with only enemies at her side.
"Attack!", Kael encouraged his side with a fist in the air.
With the new goal of reaching Tali he charged with an uplifted shield breaking his own rule of protecting those next to you. Somewhere along the line he received a jab to the side which Kael acknowledged as a future bruise. Once to Tali he made it his mission to protect instead of advance relying on his shield.
It was all over faster than Kael had originally planned. What Tali did must have had a major effect. There were many more that surrendered because of the betrayal and Kael was glad that they could save the extra lives.
He flashed a smile to Tali before going about focusing the rest of their small group to tasks in order to clear out the area. From gathering and attending to the wounded to collecting the weapons up and disarming those that surrendered. After everyone had a job he went about checking on the wounded, motioning for Tali to join him.
"You did a risky thing back there Tali.", he told her with a smirk, "At first I was caught off guard and angry but what you did saved many lives today."
The adrenaline of battle had worn off and Kael was starting to feel his wounds setting in. It seemed he got more battered up than he had previously thought. He went and sat down under a tree throwing his sword and shield to the side and laying down on his back. His muscles throbbed and multiple points in his body resounded with a dull pain. Despite this he would adamantly refuse healing until all the others were taken care of, Kael was aware his injuries were non-life threatening
"I am glad you meant it when you said you would join us. We would have been in big trouble if you were not telling the truth.", Kael confessed with a smile attempting to mask his exhaustion.
Kael made up his mind that after short rest he would get up and help as well. Doing nothing for very long could give the wrong impression that he was just someone who ordered others around but did nothing himself.

Wyvern had her work cut out for her when she had promised to protect Alethia. The other woman was fast, and didn't really bother checking to see if there were enemies heading her way when she was heading for someone injured. Still, she kept up, deflecting and attacking the enemies that tried to get to the Healer. At one point she even got a nasty cut to the side, but didn't make a sound, and she killed him before he got to attack again. She ignored the pain, refusing to bother Alethia about it. If they took the time to heal her, then they would both be left basically defenceless.
When Melora came over to them with the girl who had been in the cavern, Wyvern was surprised. Why would the Fireworker drag an injured person into a battle? When Alethia decided to look after her, she followed. It was definately much harder defending the two of them, but she managed.
When the battle was over, she saw so many relieved faces that she had to smile. Wincing, she realized that she had a lot more wounds than just the gash on her side. She had several cuts on her arms and legs, one on her cheek, and she could feel some on her back. She noticed that her hand had a slight burn on it, but that was healing already. Her legs suddenly gave out and she sat heavily on the ground. She laughed slightly, not really sure what she found funny, but laughing all the same.
"I think I'm just gonna rest for a minute." She smiled over at Alethia, and looked past her to see Kael sitting against a tree, looking quite bruised and battered, but nothing bad.

(ugh... missed entire battle..... wow)
Dimitri looked around the battlefield after the fight. He was currently guarding seven soldiers that he beat into submission. He had disarmed them all at once via teleportation and tripping them. He looked at the captured and a few dead. When he counted them something was off. Their were many more soldiers when he came at first. He checked again.... Definitely less than before. He looked around at the weapon containers. Seven less than there was before the battle. Their was still enough to supply the Resistance but the seven missing would definitely support whatever soldiers they were going to. He decided to bring this up to Kael. "Kael, There are less people and carts than I saw before. I think jumpers took some of the carts with them." He said, not really wanted to be the bearer of bad news but felt it was necessary.

Talana smiled at the healer. "Thank you," she said, her eyes, scanning the area of the battle, which was ended rather quickly.
Arvyt made his way through the aftermath, healing those with rather serious wounds. He left those who weren't fatally wounded for the healers who weren't quite as gifted as himself, knowing he could handle more than some others. He made sure to smile at everyone, and talked to them to help keep their mind off the pain. Eventually, he found himself over by Kael.
"How are you feeling?" he asked, kneeling by the man.

Aletheia thought she might recognise the girl from somewhere. it had been a crazy day. hat didn't matter now though. What mattered was helping this girl. She couldn't get caught up in memories. She rolled up her sleeves, which had trailed in blood somewhere along the line. She put her hands on the girl and sensed her ills.
The girl was emaciated, her muscles weak. She pushed some magic into them to stimulate them. She was a little malnourished, but her magic couldn't really help that. All she cold do was feed her a little bit of water and a little bit of rations, and hope she kept it down. They were pretty much pure protein, so she should be able to, but Aletheia had never seen anyone in her condition so she wasn't sure.

"Heh," Tali replied to Kael's comment with a slight smile. "I'm a Wisp, so it's not like I can actually die, or anything. Just get seriously wounded." She followed him over to the tree, careful not to step on his sword or anything.
"Do you want help with that?" she asked the man. "I can apply heat to ease the pain, and loosen the muscles. And don't worry too much about the carts. They looked like they were just clothe supplies and such."
As Kael stood and went around helping out others, Tali followed, continuing to converse with the man. "I was actually counting on your reaction. If you wouldn't have looked so angry, the ploy might not have worked out nearly as well." Without waiting any longer for Kael's approval, Tali stuck her hands on his back and generated heat, aiming it specifically at the muscles to help them loosen up. After a few minutes, she spoke. "Better?"

Talana seemed to relax slightly as she felt her muscles gain some strength. It wasn't too much, but she should be able to walk around on her own now. Only time and effort would get her back to where she'd been so long ago.
"Thank you," she said, smiling softly at the healer.

Dimitri looked over at the carts. She was right. After further inspection he noticed that the weapons were on top of clothing. There was still two carts of mostly weapons. "Hmm... I think you're going to be a very nice addition to the Resistance's ranks. I'm Dimitri, what's your name?" He said, politely jutting out his hand to her.

"You're welcome. Really, it's my job though. If I couldn't use my powers to help someone, what's the use of having them?" Alethia said, shrugging. "I should get back to the battlefield though. I hope no one needs my help too badly in my absence." Alethia waved good bye and headed back out.

Talana smiled, waving the healer off. Glancing around, she wondered if she should help out. no, she decided. They'd just gotten through fighting. At the moment, she was sure seeing anyone unfamiliar would worry people, and she'd rather not be injured any more than she already was. And she'd rather not hurt anyone else here. Not when they were helping here.
So, she just sat where she was, possibly waiting for Melora to return and introduce her to whoever was in charge. someone had to be in charge here.

Aleathia headed out, finding the wounded and hurt. Some had gone into shock already, and she helped them best she could. It was a wearying business, but she knew that with this power it was what she ahd to do.
