I feel the need to let you know that I intend to meet someone in person tomorrow that I originally met online. I'm mildly nervous, but mostly excited.

Basically, he's an 18-year-old flooring installer working to get his certification as a personal trainer. The really important part (in my opinion) is that he makes me feel fantastic about myself.

He's 5'9" and jacked beyond belief, intelligent and kind (or at least good at pretending he's both), and very entertaining to talk to. More or less just what I need right now. I'll give you more details as things develop. :)

OHHHH, I'm so excited!

So, things have kind of stalled. I mean, we're talking almost ALL the time, but he's in a weird place in his life. Like, his mom died about 6 months ago and then a few months after that his girlfriend of three years moved to California, so he's being really hesitant about actually meeting. Harumph.

Well. I mean ... he doesn't have that much time. You're leaving in 2 weeks. If he doesn't get his ass in gear it will never happen!

In other news... NOTHING is happening right now. Why have we both been so boring the last week or so?

That's the idea I'm trying to get him to understand. He did mention coming to visit me in Hyde Park, but if I didn't meet him before I left I don't think I'd be comfortable with it. In any case, when I try to talk about it with him he just clams up. He's surprisingly emotional for someone his age (though the situation makes it make a little more sense.)

Because it's feast or famine, always, no matter what. When have either of us been in a happy medium type situation?

1. I can understand that. I have a certain order I go about my web browsing in terms of bookmarks. This one's the first one I visit :D

Sushi, Saturday night. I don't know what time yet, but you'll be the first to know when I do (why did your phone decide to not have minutes THIS month?).

Yes, I explained that I don't like seafood. Yes, I made him agree to take me somewhere else if I don't like it.

I did tell Michael. We had a 10 minute phone conversation about it. That's why I was referencing when I was talking about how adorable he was being.

Also, Nathan said today that he wasn't sure if he deserved me. We also simultaneously sent each other messages about how beautiful a day it was. I'm cautious about it turning into idealization and ignoring anything negative I might find about him, but he's literally perfect so far. And I'm really happy.

Oh, and I love you.

As long as you always love me more than you love him. That's okay then. Because we both need to find loves - but you're def. my soul mate.
